"Yeah, we heard it earlier." James said, finishing his fries. "I don't know what happened to everyone else, it's all really freaky. Hell, until I saw Mari I was afraid I was the last person left on earth. And it's not just that people are gone, but that all trace of other people are gone. No cars in the streets or in parking lots, no trash littered around, just no sign of other life at all, other than this food somehow appearing nice a fresh even though there wasn't anyone to make it. So I don't think it's a zombie apocalypse, otherwise there would still be traces."

"I thought he sounded familiar." James said, nodding when MariO said the name. "Oh, I should probably properly introduce myself. James Harrison, I go by 1WingedAngel on PS4" He took a sip of his soda to wash down his burger.
Chuck took a seat in the stands, eager to watch her battle. After their talk, he felt a connection between them, an odd sort of kinship, and not just because of Hibiki.
Sad thing is that it's true. People actually had to go to the hospital because of it.
"Hey." James said, relieved that there was yet another person there. That and he was feeling awkward being alone with MariO, since he'd flirted with her so much in the past. He noticed this new person also had a familiar voice, but couldn't place it yet. He shrugged it off and started eating his food.
lmao. And who knows, maybe James is her real Prince Charming lol
Just got a flash of inspiration. Thinking that James might have attempted to flirt with Mari in the past while playing together. Not cringy flirting like a lot of guys try to do to gamer girls, but actual normal flirting. Up to Bria on how Mari saw it, whether she noticed it or not, how she responded etc.
"Yeah, that's me!" he said. Then he heard the ringing and said "If you're going crazy, then so am I, because I heard it too."
"I absolutely love Video Games!" James said, having taken a bite out of his burger. "I play them all the time, at least when I'm not watching anime or reading manga. I'm actually going to school from programming so I can make my own." He thought for a minute, then hit the palm of his hand with his fist. "MariO!" he said. "That's who you sound like!"
Makes sense, and would also be pretty creepy.
