@Banzai Tracers So is this a Codex-Compliant Chapter or Non-Codex-Compliant Chapter? The answer will decide how I lay out my Company for this as long as it's still open.

tbh i want to actually tailor the charsheet to the players i select, but i realise you need a skeleton framework to get your creativity flowing.
the company charsheet will be a much expanded version of this: 1d4chan.org/wiki/Space_Marine_Chapter… The final company captain charsheet will be a streamlined version of the DW 40kRPG.
I'll be back soon, so for now, just use this link for a creative writing / brainstorming / negotiation exercise. The standardised universal player charsheet will be made after i select about 5 of you.
Lord Zell has already expressed interest in Scout Company. If you want to take another role then select it.
Hmm I’m not super familiar with warhammer and space marines in general so I think as scouting IG force maybe better
Humm, space marine scouts? Im pretty sure you can make an app good enough to pass muster. Im basically looking for originality aswell as canon-awareness. In terms of canon-awareness i can help you while in game and i'll make sure theres at least 1 other vet to help you, canon is always a team effort as it requites interpretation, but there are some basics that are immutable, if you violate any of these then i'll point it out and rule of cool always reigns supreme.
Heres my 40kRP resume: Been playing table top off and on since 3rd ed imperial guard / dark angels. Then 4th ed Tau (Regrets). I've been playing 40kRPGs since 2011, during that time its been predominantly 80% 40kRPGs, i stick to 40k like other people stick to D&D. Been in 1 DH game lasting a year until the canon end by the GM. Been in 1 RT game lasting 2 years until its conclusion by the gm, best game i've ever served on. x1 DW game which i remember fondly run by a kung-fu master of GMing, learnt allot from him, duration 10 or so months until the canon end by the GM. I've GM'd 3 games myself. x2 OW games lasting not more than 8 months, the first game had a custom regiment with about 20 players and we whittled it down to 8 regulars. The second game i'd learnt my lesson and selected 8 really good regulars. The third game was an attempt at an alt reality ww1 game using, of all systems, ops and tactics, didnt get off the ground tbh. I've also been involved in much much more, these are just the games that turned out long term.
So what am i doing here? Im trying to blend together some of the pizazz of RT with the system of DW single chapter mode games and nation states. Heres the equation: to a warrior a weapon is just a tool. But to a good warrior a tool must be stylish.
@Jbcool Hi, i dont know if this is your cup of tea but i thought i'd link you in. I still remember Warhammer 40k: Bound by Blood - Astartes Scout RP.
You run a company with space marines but do whatever it is you wanted to do with your IG, with them instead. (SM scouts maybe?)
OR you can, for instance, run the chapter serfs. Chapter serfs are logistical support in this game, however i promise to make them interesting. For one thing the department that holds the reliquary armoury is under logistics, you have a space marine honour guard to protect it. You also control the naval armsmen and naval officers who pilot the ships who are all human. Tech-Priests, you share control of with Tech-Marine and Apothecary, as per treaty of Olympus, Tech-Priests are kind of independent and exist in their own little bubble. That said, they are indentured to the chapter, they wear our colours and everything. Chapter serfs are also, sometimes failed space marine aspirants, not really sure if i'll allow this though... If the Primarchs geneseed doesnt take that's usually a bad omen.
Those are the options, i dont want to make the game about a regiment. Regular humans against impossible odds is cool and all, but you havent even asked me about the odds facing your marines... are they impossible maybe? Is it that one? Yes, its that one.
