Not gonna lie guys, I'm using Civ 4 Fall from Heaven mod tech tree to plan my turns.

Of course I'm going for a ragnorak cultural victory.

You're quite passionate about your works to say the least. I wouldn't think to be even able to attempt to write something as long. That said I enjoyed it myself, but I enjoy a lot of things and I'm not qualified enough to give criticism.

Also is it weird/allowed to read through everyone's posts and updates. Cuz I love reading all the stories of the doods especially the antics of the goblins and orcs (love me dat waaagh.) That said, Viking longhouses, best houses.

D) Improve Culture

The chants were led by the charismatic youth Syndra Peachstone, grand-daughter of the late Elder Peach who past some time ago. In their mourning of a venerated and beloved Elder the people began to question their place in the world, their purpose, their futures. For quite a few days the people where solemn even Elder Rye opted to keep him rambling a mostly silent. However Syndra choose to keep her head up, while like others she had tears in her eyes she proclaimed that the Elder must be in a better place, that some great being was watching over him and the Citrus Peoples as a whole. She looked to the abundance surrounding the village a Drew upon that a benevolent god looked after them.

A god of plenty.
A god of happiness.
A god of warmth.
A god of fertility.
A mother.

Thus a convent of her closest friends started venerating such a goddess the caretaker of their people. Songs were crated and sang. Stories were past down and orated. The people grew closer and confident in their place in the world.

The Citrus People were the will of the Earth Mother as she slept her eternal sleep. They would continue to grow, both themselves and the fields and pastures around them.

Tonight on the same day of a new year that Elder Peach was returned to his Mother the people chanted and prayed and then...

"PARTIED!!!! WOOOOOO!!! Party up you sons of the Earth. Goddessdammit Wheat, don't hog cow all the booze. That sick bastard Peach was truly a great man. Amirite... MORE ROAST GODDAMIT." Elder Rye was known to be the greatest follower of Axela on festival days.

On the night of the festival, some enthusiastic youth, had received orders from the Small Council to investigate the rumors of another people resting on the foot of a mountain. They bring with them some pack-bulls carrying their provisions and gifts of leather and sweet fruits should they meet anything out there. Of course they are unarmed, for what is there to fear when the Mother watches over all her children. They bring their smiles confident that this sortee is blessed on the Night of Earthcoming.

Summary

Dirty pagan Earth Worship is developed(booze included), festivals and sick stories and songing. Expedition to parley with savages in the north.
