Consider this a placeholder until I come up with a punchy, pithy status.

Generally it's advisable to give people a link to the actual thread, in order to facilitate getting everyone from the interest check over to the actual thread.
Arthur left home for University at 19, though he didn't cut himself off from the family or anything, just left home.

Fair enough. But enjoyment is separate from what determines the quality of a film. To take a recent example, I enjoyed Civil War more than The Revenant but the latter was undoubtedly the better film. I'd argue that B-13 is the better film from a critical standpoint.

Eh... Brick Mansions is just a remake of District B-13, almost shot for shot, only Paul Walker has replaced Cyril Raffaelli. It's not bad, exactly, it's just not as cool as B-13, the action is a little less smooth, the world is more generic some of the low budget soul of the original is lost.

There's the nostalgia of seeing Paul Walker, of course.

"YOU WANKA! I'LL HAVE YOU SON!"

Never was a more british sentence uttered on film.

Seriously though, anyone looking for a parkour film who hasn't seen District B-13 need look no further. It's basically a couple of French martial artists and parkour tracers bouncing their way through a film that's pretty light on plot or acting but high on adrenaline fuelled fight sequences and crazy jumping. It's certainly not perfect but the fights are really cool and the set building, especially use of colour, is pretty nice.

It's not an entirely horrible film (that's my way of saying it's okay) but there's actually very little parkour in it.

In fact, is there any apart from that shot? It's been a while since I watched it.

I hear you fam, I'll be in touch.
By the by, anyone looking for a accomp role could take over Arthur's wife. I used a face claim and gave her name but I'm completely open to changing them. What might make it a less than desirable role is that for Arthur's character to work, his wife needs to be as I described her; Arthur's relaxed fun-loving nature married to that classic Carrington drive. Still, it's there if anyone wants it.

@Liriia
M8, I've already done a relationship for Sam and Arthur on my sheet, seemed appropriate as your character was already out there, but take me to task if it doesn't work for you and we can work out a different one.
@Chicogal
Don't we all friend, don't we all.

Wait, only nearly? I retract that friend part.
@Gowi
What even is that? I laughed, but it was a laugh of confusion.
