Bio
uhhhh, hi there
I am here and I sorta exist so yes this is my ‘bio’ and it will probably be rather brief and suck and be sloppy, just like me. So, without further ado..
stuff about me
• Most people call me Barti or Bart as well as a few other things since it’s just easier or meaner than the actual thing - I invite you to do so as well.
• I’m a 23-year-old (bday June 20th!) Texan who enjoys thunderstorms and rain far too much, and likes anime, running, metal music, and copious amounts of DRUGS candy, among many other cool things - like DnD and MTG.
• I enjoy group rps as well as 1x1s. For groups I have what I think is a decent array of interests, most of it being profusely weeb-y. I like Fantasystuffs (Modern especially), supernatural themes, pretty much all Japanese stuff - including historically accurate settings - as well as general dark/grim themes, comedic slice of life trash, academy rps, unique plots, etc. etc. As for 1x1s I pretty much do romance, but I can do non-romantic stuff too if you give me something to work with xP The only genre I find myself not entirely comfortable with is really sci-fi stuff, but, if the plot/idea catches me enough it can hold my interest. Oh, and my writing level is high casual to low advanced.
• I’m a sarcastic, snarky, bipolar-depressed, degenerate garbage can, but generally people seem to like me (I don’t know why in the hot hell you would) - but if you would also like to be my friendo lemme know. I don’t bite. Usually owo xd rawr
welppp...I guess that’s okay for now thanks for reading, you potatoes
Written Appearance: Renishi isn’t a very imposing figure, standing at 5’10” and weighting around 180lbs. His frame is lightly muscled - compact, and nimble. When it comes to style, he doesn’t pay much mind to his own - not that he has explored it much. He generally wears jeans, and a t-shirt under a black hoodie. He also tends to wear a black knitcap, which covers his furry black ears, and a pair of headphones wired to an Ipod which he keeps in his hoodie. And of course, it’s rare for one to find him without his quiver at his back and his compound bow slung over his shoulder.
Personal
Personality: Rinishi is quite a socially awkward individual, due to his upbringing. Having little experience with people outside of his captors and sister, there are certain things he doesn’t understand in some social settings - but he’s not a dull lad, and can usually catch on well enough. Though expressing feelings is something he has always been very bad at.
Also due to his past, he’s a very cautious person. He’s slow to trust others, and doesn’t usually engage in conversation unless spoken to first - and even then it can be difficult to get him talking. He’s not overly introverted, per se, but he may have somewhat of a stranger issue.
His cautiousness carries over into more volatile situations as well. When undertaking missions of any sort, Rinishi is very attentive, valuing patience and planning over any ‘guns blazing’ approach. He prefers to take in a good view of the situation from a vantage point, and provide valuable information to his allies while covering them with his admittedly impressive bowmanship - if stealth is no option. He is not, however, above engaging in melee combat, and is actually quite good at it due to his magic.
Notably, Rinishi’s morals are not what one would expect. Not being raised on the ideals of ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ in the traditional sense, he doesn’t really seem to mind breaking the law or doing some things others would take great caution in doing.
Dislikes: Loud places, Staying indoors, Most veggies, Loud dogs, Chocolate(makes him vom but he eats it anyways).
Strengths: Quite Athletic, Socially Cautious, Great instincts.
Weaknesses: Socially Inept, Doesn’t handle other magic well, Pretty mundane in power.
Relationships: Rena Kirizaki - His only known living family member, Rinishi cherishes Rena very much. She is, so far, the only person he opens up to easily - and they are evidently inseparable. He is very protective of her.
Backstory:
Rinishi, alongside his sister, were apparently orphans at a young age.
They spent a great portion of their lives within some sort of facility, after having been kidnapped.
Being that they were so young when taken, the twins have little recollection of anything before their time in the facility. Faint remembrances of unmatched names and faces are all that remain.
Scientists subjected him and his sister to several experiments, all with varying degrees of success.
At age thirteen, their animals parts had appeared after one experiment. It was deemed a success.
They were put into observation for two years before being deemed stable.
Subsequently trained for fighting with the goal of making efficient and effective hunters for apparent use in Zero Time scenarios.
Members of the facility attempted to brainwash them into being loyal soldiers but failed - but rather noticeably altering Rinishi's ability to trust others.
The facility was raided by the Isamu family two months ago. None of the scientists were caught, but Rena and Rinishi were left behind.
Maylis decided to let them into Isamu territory while they decide who they will ally themselves to.
The twins are currently homeless but squat in Isamu territory.
Magic
Medium - Novice - Talented
Rinishi and his sister are somewhat of an oddity. Due to their experiences, and the experimentations that were afflicted upon them in their past, their magic has seemed to express itself in a rather different manner. For Rin, it comes in the form of a felid likeness - meaning, he possesses the ears, tail, and some behaviors of a cat, even when he isn’t using his magic. His features resemble, more specifically, a melanistic Jaguar.
When is comes to actually using his magic - it takes the form of shapeshifting; Rinishi is able to shape his body into the likeness of other creatures. Unlike his sister, though, Rin finds it much more comfortable to remain in his more humanoid state - and performing a full transformation has so far been impossible for him. This has, however, left him able to train for more minute changes - letting him change multiple parts of his body into different likenesses at once with more fluidity.
Felid Likeness
Panther’s Habile - Renishi is passively gifted with many traits of the felid known as Panthera Onca. This allows him great aptitude with activities such as running, swimming, and climbing - allowing him to find purchase or speed where others have no hope to. He is also granted the instincts and behaviors of this Panthera.
Panther’s Physique - Not only is Renishi granted the aforementioned skills, he also possesses the bodily benefits of Panthera Onca’s strong, compact physique. His strength are speed are enhanced (though still within human constraints), and he retains the impressive balance felines are famous for. Additionally, his senses of sight, smell, and hearing are enhanced beyond human restraints.
Shapeshifting
Alterforme - Renishi can alter his body to develop features of different animals that he is familiar with. His limbs, skin, organs, etc - however, he is restricted by his knowledge of those animals, and the more of his body he tries to change differently, the more awkwardly his manipulation of those parts are.
Liquid Leap - Rinishi’s ability to shift the matter of his body is very rarely used to such a degree that this technique entails. But turning his body, or part of it, into a thin mass of liquid flesh and bone, he can consume a large amount of stamina to reshape himself - for a very short amount of time. This most notably can used to avoid blows that are guaranteed to cause disabling amounts of damage, or to reshape lighter wounds into sound flesh - or even to bypass obstacles in a sticky situation.
Other
Due to the processes he was put through during his upbringing, Renishi is very proficient with a bow, able to hit even small targets with accuracy, even while both him and his quarry are moving at speed.
He is also trained in martial arts - but a part of him tends to forego this training when he engages in close combat, instead relying more on his instincts.
Written Appearance: Standing 6’2” in height, Onassis is relatively tall - but not outstanding in physique. He is lean and long, but not overtly thin. Despite being a rather outdoors-loving individual, his skin is quite pale - betraying his partial American heritage - and is also without blemish. His hair is a dirty blonde which he often keeps neat, but not overly combed. His eyes are a chocolatey dark brown.
One might be relatively hard-pressed to find Father Onassis without his vestments or clerical attire at-hand, regardless of most any circumstances.
His set of vestments are black, with simple white symbols running down the middle, confined by a strip of more white stretching down the length on either side. The vestments, which are often accompanied by a stole, are usually worn over the every-day clerical attire, but largely are only donned during planned rituals or events.
His clerical attire is as one would expect from a priest. It consists of his black clerical shirt, covered by a Soutane of the same color, suited at the neck with a wool clerical collar. These garments are also accompanied by black khaki pants, or those of a similar material, and leather shoes, if possible. Occasionally, he will forego his Soutane.
Finally, Father Onassis is never seen without at least one glove on - even if it is not part of his clerical uniform. More specifically - the glove upon his left hand never comes off.
Personal
Personality: Onassis is a rather amicable individual, many would say. A contemplative neutral face and a largely calm demeanor make for an easily approachable man, and an insightful outlook upon life makes for a well-liked clergyman. These are all very helpful factors in his day-to-day life, as he seems to find himself on the good side of most everyone he meets - even the nonreligious.
Although he can seem like quite a busy individual during the going-ons of his day, Onassis is a fun loving person. He enjoys jokes, friendly pranks, adventures, etc. when he has the time. He especially loves studying different forms of magic and the innovations that they can stir to life.
When it comes to serious manners, the reverend isn’t one to mill about. His main priority is keeping safe those who cannot defend themselves - which coincides well with the Isamu family. Keeping as much peace as possible - even if through preemptive action - is something the priest has sworn his life to. And using violence to stem the growth of violence is something he has come to accept as a way of life within Mahoukyo.
Likes: Isamu family Nature Magic Studious behavior Honesty Rain
Dislikes: Violence Dishonesty Crooks Injustice
Strengths: Agreeability -- Onassis is a very amicable individual, often finding it very easy to talk to those around him - a many even confide their secrets in him. Utility/Flexibility -- Not only is he flexible in his ability to support others in his duty as a priest, but his magic is even moreso flexible - making his assets unpredictable. Forethought -- Nass is a thinker - and a good one at that. He would rather build out a plan and then act on it than rush into a situation - but that doesn’t mean he won’t if he has to. Studious -- He believes that knowledge, to an extent, is power. And the more power one holds, the more they can use to defend the ones they love. He’s a very studious person, often reading works on various subjects - his most favorite being magical studies.
Weaknesses: Too Valiant -- Onassis is very protective of innocents and his peers, even to a point that some would say he is too protective. If he feels they are in danger, he will forego his own safety to ensure theirs, even in the face of guaranteed defeat. Conflicted -- Although he has accepted violence as a means to prevent future violence, it still weighs on his mind. He will make peace whenever he can - which can cause defeat in some cases due to his hesitation.
Relationships: Father -- Deceased. Mother -- His mother is a little on the older side, and lives with a caretaker - though Onassis visits often, as they are close. Maylis Isamu -- Reverend Nass holds a respect for Maylis. She stands a guardian for her family and welcomes all with open arms, and will defend those she cares for with all her might - a valiant outlook, in the clergyman’s eyes. The two also have more of a relationship than one would think, as Maylis frequents Father Onassis’ church.
Backstory:
Onassis had a humble yet comfortable childhood, and was raised by two very loving parents.
His mother was a born-resident of Mahoukyo, while his father was American.
He took after his mother’s Runecrafting from a young age.
Shortly before his father’s passing from heart difficulties, he began to teach his son the inner workings of the church at the age of seventeen - which spurred the young man to look into becoming a priest. He finally accomplished this upon turning twenty five.
Now after four years of priesthood, he is a respected member of the congregation and the surrounding community, devoting his life to the benefit of others and the will of the divine.
He resides in a modest apartment very close to the church and only a couple blocks from his mother - who lives under a caretaker due to her age.
Magic
Medium - Adept - Capable
Onassis’ magic, following the ways of his mother, is completely expressed through Runecraft. As opposed to channeling magical energies through his body to enforce attacks, he creates and imbues runes using said energy.
As a result, his magical arsenal is very wide - but it takes a significantly longer time to employ these tactics, as he usually has to have runes preprepared, being that they are quite intricate. He does, additionally, still have to research subjects he wishes to integrate into his runes. A flame-throwing rune would require some degree of Pyromantic study, for example. Onassis is well aware of this and can employ a wide variety of knowledge he has studied - though substantially rare subjects will have to be looked into if he wants to use such runes.
His runecraft has a variety of uses, but he is known best amongst Isamu for his use of enchanted clothing - more specifically, gloves. Below are a couple of his creations entailed:
Zero Claw - The Zero Claw is definitely Father Onassis’ most lamented creation. In his search for more magical knowledge, the reverend decided to do a ‘small’ experiment during one of his many trips to Zero Time with the Isamu. After having defeated their fair share of Zero Time-realm beasts, he decided he wanted to try and experiment with their materials - after all, certain other animal materials could aid in magical projection. Hence, he gathered a number of beast scales and had them sewn to a glove before imbuing it with a new experimental rune. Upon his next trek into Zero Time, he used this rune to make an attempt at absorbing the essence of one of these gruesome beasts - only to find that it had an effect he had clearly not bargained for. A deep, shooting pain traveled up the reverend’s arm, webbing out through his entire body and instinctively causing him to rip the glove off his hand. However, he found doing so to be even more cripplingly painful as he fell to his knees and doubled over, gripping his chest before struggling to slip the glove back onto his hand as he tried not to vomit. The pain instantly eased into a slow pulsing as he shoved his hand into the glove. He breathed heavier and more raggedly than he ever had before, looking down at his arm to find black and gray skin slowly fading away, and the veins much more visible than they should have been. Since then, the reverend has ceaselessly searched for ways to try and remove the glove, but to no avail. Despite not having a durability rune in place, the energies enabled by the glove seemingly keep it intact regardless of any of his efforts. Despite the arguable benefits this cursed peace of equipment grants the reverend, he sees it as a great malediction. The glove is altered by emotion - the more incoherent or angry Onassis becomes, the more the beast within reveals itself, until he’s hardly able to think for himself, and relies solely on animal instinct. Luckily for the priest, anger is not a feeling that comes easy to him. However, the properties of the glove release themselves when he calls upon the strengths of it - and the more he uses, the more likely he is to lose control.
Enhanced Physique - The Zero Claw can grant Onassis enhanced strength and speed when the power is drawn upon, making him much more physically capable than any man and even rivaling those who enhance their physique through magic purposely - though utilizing the Claw to such a degree will likely leave him incoherent and hence dangerous to those he wishes to protect, or more easily outsmarted.
Enhanced Senses - The Claw can also enhance the reverend’s senses of eyesight, smell, and hearing if called upon. These are much easier to utilize without exposing oneself to the will of the animal side.
Zero Time Walker - Easily the most substantial ability allotted to the priest through this glove is the ability to move between the real world and Zero Time. This is a very unique ability that is as useful as one would think - though it takes him a good deal of concentration, so he won’t be using it in the midst of combat to avoid attacks.
Soulbane - Soulbane is one of Father Onassis’ favorite creations, as it allows him to disable his foes without causing them harm. This black leather glove has a circular, intricate rune on the back with many small etchings around its inner border. Said rune allows the wearer to halt the usage of Soul in an individual it can grasp - or can even dissipate magic at a touch.
Grasp - This glove can halt the magic of those who have less magical potential than that of the wearer. Upon grabbing or touching a mage in a critical area like the head, throat, or chest, they will find themselves disconnected from their Soul energy for as long as the grasp persists, and if it persists for a time, up to half-a-dozen or so minutes afterwards. For those of greater potential than the wearer, they will begin to lose connection to their Soul energy rapidly over a few seconds, rather than immediately. If contacting a non-vital area, it can take up to ten seconds for an individual to be cut off from their Soul energy, giving them time to react with magic.
Rend - As opposed to the rather offensively-focused Grab portion of this rune, the Rend portion is more defensive. The glove is able to ‘cut through’ magic to a degree, weakening or crippling an attack. This usually varies on a case-to-case basis - as, for example, cutting through a fireball would still have you struck by two-thirds of the attack, while rending a force blast would likely collapse its magical structure and render the attack ineffective.
Other
Father Onassis’ overclothing, such as his Soutane, have runes on the inside for comfort, so that they do not become too hot or restrictive.
His glasses are runed for durability. He is near-sighted.
Onassis has studied and practiced several forms of unarmed combat and can use them with efficiency. Some would say this is odd as a priest, but the alternatives are learning to use lethal weapons, so..

Bio: Samuel Safford - born June 21st, 3002 AIP - was born son of Isabella Safford and Arthur Safford, and fraternal twin-brother of Lyla Safford.
The Safford family was and is a predominantly working-class one, the twins' father being a professor at Marduk Academy for The Mystic Arts, which both the children now attend, and their mother having been a city politician. Despite their rather busy professions, both parents were very loving to Samuel and Lyla as they grew up, and made enough time between the two of them to afford plenty of quality time with their children. They had a cushioned life growing up - having two loving parents who earned enough income to support the four of them comfortably. Unfortunately, good things rarely last forever.
At the unripe age of twelve, the twins found themselves, along with their father, the victims of theft. The theft of their mother's life. In recent weeks before her death, Isabella Safford had gained significant ground on her political adversaries, surpassing the small gap between them and then creating her own, more substantial one, as she took the lead in the debates. However, some individuals had an inhumane greed for wealth and power - a greed that spurred them to perform sick deeds one could not hope to prepare for. A mere week before the end of the debates an organization known as The Blackbird, as expected by the public, assassinated Isabella in cold blood - in order to push their candidate into the lead. As you might expect, this effected the family tremendously.
As they began to grow older, they saw discernible change in their father. Soon enough, he was exhaustively overprotective of the twins - never wanting to take his eyes off of them. Likely out of a fear that he would lose them, too. However, he was not the only one who changed. The twins changed too. They grew closer, using each other as a mutual crutch. It was all they could do to cope. Not that you could say they'd coped.
For Samuel, it was difficult not to be mad. Really difficult. Difficult not to be mad at himself - mad at politics - mad at so many things. As he reached the latter half of the teen years, one could say that his anger consumed him. But, there was always only one thing that could pierce the all-enveloping, searing storm of fire that was his rage towards circumstance - and that one thing was Lyla.
During these later teen years, in which the twins attended Marduk academy, Lyla was the only spark of peace in his mind. She could calm him, comfort him - make him feel loved. And he would not let something like that be taken from him again. Now, Samuel is savagely protective of his sister, and performs exceedingly well at Marduk Academy - though requiring a bit of a tougher focus on technique than others, as his inherent anger issues tend to cloud his vision. But he takes the training, all in the hopes that he can repel anybody from harming him or his sister ever again. And maybe eventually.. get some sort of revenge.
Magic: Samuel's magic draws heavily from the Marduk Academy Elemental specialization - especially Earth and Light based utilization. He bases his magical learning, for personal reasons, around a crystalline theme - using Earth magic to create crystals and shift the earth, and Light magic as support.
Earth Magic - Samuel has great control over the Earth around him, using its tough exterior to batter his opponents into submission, or to protect himself while he takes that matter on with his bare knuckles. Not only does he utilize the many rocks and minerals of the planet's body, he fixates especially upon crystals. While crystals are more fragile than rocks, they can be much harder, and as such, can deflect more powerful attacks if they possess substantial mass or are backed by something less brittle. He has never stated why he fixates on crystals in his magic style, but his sister suspects it is because of a gift he still has from his mother which holds a crystal within.
Earth Manipulation - Samuel can shift the dirt, rock, and minerals under his very feet, being able to move them at will to almost anywhere within his line of sight. He can wrench a wall of hard stone straight from the ground, extend a jagged pillar from the face of a concrete wall, or even punch straight through a cinder block with no harm to his hand, if he so wished.
Stoneskin - Samuel is able to shift a portion of his body into a variety of minerals(not exclusively stone). He can apply this to a portion roughly the size of his torso - and the changed portion will adopt all properties of the material, as well as gain significant strength, due to his muscles changing and having much greater solidity.
Overwhelming Pressure - This is seemingly the only magic that Samuel has no control over. Often having to tweak the pressures within a object in order to create crystals, manipulating pressure is something he is more than capable of - however, he has only learned to enhance pressure through the usage of the properties of the earth - and can't do so purposely outside of that. However, Samuel's rage is a vicious fuel that can unlock capabilities he may not be able to manipulate himself. When he becomes incoherently enraged, a wide area around him has its general level of pressure enhanced - harming both friend and foe alike. Those effected by this pressure will find themselves lightheaded, quite physically uncomfortable, and feeling a bit less in control of their own locomotion. Staying within the radius, which spans about fifteen feet, for a while longer will find those affected unconscious.
Crystalline Battery - Amongst the mineral mines exclusive to Iliad City lies a special crystal called Magicite. Samuel, upon discovering this crystal in his studies, has taken a particular interest in it - and has come to use it to great effect in his learning at the Academy. He often can sprout these crystals from his skin(painfully) during battle, and use their passive absorption effect to slowly gain the upper hand - using the stored energy to persevere despite fatigue. Additionally, he can expend the stored energy to bring greater might to his other techniques, allowing him control over larger sections of earth or greater quantities of light. The extra magical energy could eventually allow him ease in even more techniques beyond Earth and Light, were he to study some in the future..
Light Magic - Light Elemental magic is the more supportive side of Samuel's style, and is a small but important part of his learning. He chose Light magic due to its relationship with crystals - able of being modified or enhanced by the mineral.
Flashbang - Samuel amasses a ball of light that explodes upon contact, showering everything within line of sight in blindingly sharp light, causing everyone effected to stagger for several moments before being able to recover their vision.
CrystaLight Lenses - Alongside a fine crystal lens, Samuel's Light magic is capable of granting him an array of sight spectrums, the most noteworthy being infrared, and several other functions. Alongside rarely-utilized magnification capabilities, it also provides him protection from his own flashbangs.

Personality: Samuel is what one might call...volatile. He generally appears to be a somewhat reserved person - and one could surmise he is so because he generally does not hold much interest in others. Those who do happen to find themselves in his company would probably be right in calling him the grumpy sort. Just a tad bit rough around the edges.
When it comes to matters of interests or hobbies, Samuel holds few. But the few he does hold are profound - those being his Magical studies as well as MMA(Mixed Martial Arts), naturally. While he does enjoy these things to a degree, he doesn't show that in the way other people do - he's more progress oriented. He expresses his interest in a hobby by working at it vigorously, and using his anger to make himself better at it. Which you may imagine, doesn't work for very many hobbies.
Despite his usual demeanor, there is - as aforementioned - a way to break through his shell. That way would be his sister. He has yet to find himself so consumed by anger that she has been unable to reach him, as he's always held a soft sport for Lyla - and even moreso in the past few years.

Provostus followed suit as the other two members of their small party began to load themselves onto the elevator.
The decision to not take the servant with their group was one he was comfortable with. Not only would the giant be much less mobile than them, it was easy to notice - and drawing attention isn’t the best way to survive in Yharnam. However, the matter of killing or leaving it was one chosen primarily out of consideration for his more - queasy, party member. He was not sure why he had taken such a detail into consideration when stating his opinion on the matter - but now was not really the time for reflecting upon that. He needed to focus.
He and his companions entered the elevator, Victor first, and himself last, his boots barely making any noise even as he stepped onto the suspended platform. He stepped directly into the middle of the platform, the wide, flat button that sat there depressing into the floor under his weight - causing the intertwining metal hinges of the elevator’s grate-like door to extend to a close behind them. There was a short lurch as the lift kicked into gear, the chains and mechanisms rattling and clacking as they began to rise.
Provostus remained silent as they ascended, adjusting his grip comfortably onto his extended weapon.
A rather tall, wide-shouldered individual rounded the stables at a stroll's pace, his right arm elevated to rest his on the withers of the Appaloosa walking at his side, a decently light saddle sat unaffixed upon its back; the rings and buckles clinking as they moved. The two walked a few more steps as they came to approach the wayside. The Appaloosa was a tall black, with a rear overlay spotting pattern of white, which saturated it up to its hips - as well as making it look like it wore black-speckled socks on each leg. Its mane was black and short, as well as its tail. Its rider gave it a pat on the neck, signaling the majestic animal to stop, as he began to rock the saddle into the right position.
It wasn't long that the two'd been in town - their first morning, actually. The days before arriving they'd rode the countryside at a leisurely pace, though there was a slight air of excitement about the rider. He was fresh to the county, having been on the move for quite a time as he traveled across the West, and had visited just a couple of towns in the county before this one. This one seemed to be one of those towns that was more out of the way - but it had a decent population. And so far, the inhabitants had been more receptive of him than some of the other towns he'd come across - they actually let him buy a room. Not that he really needed a room, but he was once told it is the correct thing to do. Y'know, instead of just standing outside in the middle of the night and waiting 'til morning.
Oddly enough though, as he was leaving his room at one of the smaller inns in town, he'd found a letter slipped under the door addressed to him, a one 'Mister Nemorad'. He'd never received a letter in his life. Hence, you might not be surprised to find that he tore it just a little bit as he tried to carefully open it with his thick wooden digits. Was still legible though, and it inquired of his assistance - something that was not difficult to elicit from him. He soon sought to read said newspaper that the letter had suggested, and was saddened by the unfortunate events that apparently had been plaguing the town.
So of course, he decided it was the best decision to try and help out. Regardless of any financial compensation.
Nemorad finished cinching the rear strap of the saddle, patting the horse on the flanks as he stood straight again to approach its front side, setting his right hand on its withers once more, and beginning to lead it down the street. He'd inquired to the innkeeper before he'd left of the location of Caraway Inn - earning a conflicted look from them, as he'd just done business with their inn - but he received directions nonetheless. And that's where he'd now be headed.
After a while of trotting along, the Appaloosa's soft clopping brought it to the Caraway Inn, alongside its rider. Nemorad led the animal to a nearby patch of grass, before turning away from his companion and walking towards the doors to the inn. To any bystanders it would seem like an ignorant thing, to leave one's horse unattended and untethered - but the Warforged had found that it was a helpless measure with his horse. On more than one occasion the Stallion had chewed right through any leads tied to it - but it never wandered too far from where'd it'd been left. And it wasn't very friendly with people - only its rider, which it recognized easily - so leading it away was a dicey endeavor.
One of Nemorad's rough hands pushed open the door to the inn as he stepped inside, scanning the occupants of the establishment. He received a few looks himself - it could be assumed that Warforged were of a rarer breed than even the dwellers of Forsaken were used to. And even then, one with beast fur upon its shoulders, half a set of horns, and a shining gold star on its peck would be even more bizarre. He turned his gaze to the counter, spotting the innkeep and approaching.
He was just about to speak when the barman eyed him and gave him a nod towards the stairs. "Room 310."
Satisfied with the answer, Nemorad gave an eager 'thumbs up' to the barman and smiled under his faceplate. He then turned to the stairs, and ascended them, a few of the wooden steps emitting a slight creaking as he did so. Soon enough, he reached the second floor and was glad to see that the rooms were clearly labeled. Keeping his head cocked, he glanced up at the number above each room as he passed - eventually coming upon a room with its door open - and apparently quite occupied already. Room 310.
He tentatively coaxed his large stature into the doorway - before promptly realizing that smacking one's horn into the top of the frame was not the most successful way of doing so. He always forgot to make extra clearance. He stooped lower, and stepped in before rising up to his normal height again. If he could make such minute facial expressions(and wasn't wearing a faceplate), one would say he was somewhat embarrassed by his less-than-elegant entrance into the small room with several other people.
"Greetings.." he said to nobody in particular - his voice gravelly yet pronounced, its travel seemingly unaffected by his faceplate - as he scanned those who had arrived before him.

Additionally, he has an intricate, circular runic symbol upon his left 'cheek' - as well as on various other parts of his body - including but not limited to: the dorsum of each foot, the dorsum of each forearm, each palm, and his back. Each symbol is similar in that they are circular and elaborate, but the one upon the 'cheek' is the most outstanding. ℙ𝕖𝕣𝕤𝕠𝕟𝕒𝕝 𝕊𝕥𝕪𝕝𝕖: Nemorad does not generally wear clothing, as due to his stony nature, they are not a necessity. However, his design was obviously one built with aesthetic in mind. The more flexible sections of Nemorad body are made of a tough, dark brown wood fiber; these sections visibly include the hands, underside of the forearm, underarms, feet, hough, throat, and thigh/groin region. Being that wood fibers are not the most durable material, they need protection - which comes mostly in the form of stone plates and smaller pieces of dark steel. The steel plates are rarer than the stony ones, only protecting the dorsum and sides of each forearm, the elbows and knees, and the base of the throat. The rest of his armor(body, rather) is made of well-shaped, cool gray stone. Additionally, his head and nape are made of the same cool stone - but his face is covered by a thin, smooth, removable steel plate, which serves to protect the integrity of his ghulra and face-rune. The final details of Nemorad's design are the singular horn, the fur patches sewn upon the stone of his shoulders, and a Deputy's badge upon his left pectoral. These are surmised to be details added by the creator for intimidation purposes - though after having lost the left horn, the design might look a little silly.
What first impression do you make? "I have sometimes reflected upon what 'first impression' others have of me. It seems the results are widely similar - I believe most of them are scared of me. They appear wary - even sometimes denying me services, despite me having the funds to pay for them. I am not sure why, though."
What are you like in a high stress situation? "I perform at normal capacity in 'high stress situations' - as stress is an emotion I believe I have yet to experience."
What are your best and worst qualities? "My best quality is steel, in terms of durability accompanied by relatively low mass. My worst quality is wood - highly flammable, and fragile."
What is something about yourself that you would never admit to anyone? "I have no secrets to hold onto."
What are your dreams? "I dream to be able to save outlaws from themselves. I have seen nice people do very bad things, out of irrationality. I want to stop the good from becoming the bad. And stop the truly bad from killing the good - because I know there are some who cannot be saved.."
How do you want to be seen by others? "I do not require it to protect them, but I would like people to see me as a friend. Someone they can call when they require assistance. Someone to give them hope against those who would take all away."
How do you see yourself? "Usually through a mirror - but I do not care much for my appearance, except when in regards to the desires of others."
Do you tend to make snap judgements, or stop and think about things? "I enjoy taking my time to ponder things, but if required I can make decisions quickly and efficiently."
What haunts you? "I remember the faces of every lawbreaker I have had subject to the barrel of a gun or the gallows. They spit, bite, curse - but some of them - they plead. After being given so many chances to change their ways, they choose still to be an outlaw. And then I had to put them to death. Because their remorse is only due to them being apprehended - it is fake, is what I was told. But - I still see their faces. Usually at night, when all is quiet."
What is your philosophy on life? "I do not have a philosophy on life. I have thought for a very long time on it, and I still do not know. There are so many to learn, and I have learned so many - but I do not yet understand the meaning of life."

Strong arm - Nemorad's aim is unmatched by other, more fickle, marksmen. His arm does not waver - granting him far greater stability than any living gunman - and his vision is derived from magic, allowing him to sharpshoot even without a scope.
Novice Runecraft - Nemorad has taken a recent interest in runecrafting - something which was used liberally in his creation - and has begun to practice it at leisure.
Grit [Rune] - Grit is a rune that allows Nemo to forgo the usage of tools in order to repair himself. By taking an amount of clay, sand, or gravel soaked in alcohol, he can fill in any wounds or replace any broken pieces - and they will heal as-was over a time of a few dozen minutes. This rune is upon his left cheek.
Defender's hide [Rune] - A natural defender of his allies and the innocent, Nemo has a buffer against magic that allows him to resist about a quarter of the effects of magic used against him. This rune lies on his back, and is quite large.
Exhaust [Rune] - Instead of killing, he prefers to capture or subdue, if he can. In such cases where he finds himself capable, he can employ this rune to quickly drain the mental and physical tenacity of someone within arm's reach, eventually dropping them to the floor. This rune is upon each of his palms.
Mountain Mover [Rune] - Being as large and heavy as Warforged are, one would think it'd be difficult to find a horse that could comfortably keep pace with one on its back. However, this rune allows Nemorad to strength his mount, allowing it to easily carry him. It also helps in guiding the horse without spurs or reins. This rune is on the dorsal of each foot.
Unfinished Rune [Rune] - Nemo has an unfinished rune upon the half-way point of the dorsal of each forearm.

An assortment of small craft tools (knives, needles, thread, etc.)
ℍ𝕚𝕤𝕥𝕠𝕣𝕪:
𝕊𝕦𝕞𝕞𝕒𝕣𝕪: It's usually quite difficult to find individuals who possess the resolve and desire to be a law enforcer in the violent lands of the West. However, once upon a time in a distant, wealthy town, a particularly resourceful Sheriff found himself in need of some of these said individuals. But when the county was found lacking, he decided to take matters into his own hands, and hire a mage-smith to create the most capable posse possible. Amongst that posse - was Nemorad.
The posse was, as expected, the most effective the county had ever seen. A group of seven Western Warforged, led by the Sheriff of the county, was a formidable force to all bandits who dared to bandit within the area. They rode through the countryside and towns for years, defending the innocent and upholding the law. Sadly, no good things last forever. Although the posse were of hardy origin, the Sheriff himself was still human - and a bullet to the chest is a fatal blow.
Being designed to serve the purposes of a posse and having no other directives besides essentially "do what the Sheriff says to uphold the law", the Warforged find themselves, in a way, on their own. Most of them went their separate ways, spreading out to the countryside and even adjacent counties. Nemorad remained within the areas he had for all his years while deputized - but never joined law enforcement again. At least not on an official scale. Instead, he was much more akin to a Vigilante - but a good-hearted one.
However, capturing lawbreakers by surprise in most cases, and rarely killing, was not enough to save him from the prejudice of the people in the county - despite all he did for them. In recent years he has come to be a drifter, roaming the countryside with just his horse by his side, while helping anyone who needs it. Even if most are not receptive of his help.
Despite being a drifter, somebody must know at least a bit of who Nemorad is - as upon arriving to the outskirts of a town he'd never been, he received a letter addressing him. It was offering money - but he didn't care much for that. It was a chance to help keep people safe.

uhhhh, hi there

I am here and I sorta exist so yes this is my ‘bio’ and it will probably be rather brief and suck and be sloppy, just like me.
So, without further ado..

stuff about me

• Most people call me Barti or Bart [s]as well as a few other things[/s] since it’s just easier [s]or meaner[/s] than the actual thing - I invite you to do so as well.
• I’m a 23-year-old (bday June 20th!) Texan who enjoys thunderstorms and rain far too much, and likes anime, running, metal music, and copious amounts of [s]DRUGS[/s] candy, among many other cool things - like DnD and MTG.
• I enjoy group rps as well as 1x1s. For groups I have what I think is a decent array of interests, most of it being profusely weeb-y. I like Fantasystuffs (Modern especially), supernatural themes, pretty much all Japanese stuff - including historically accurate settings - as well as general dark/grim themes, comedic slice of life trash, academy rps, unique plots, etc. etc. As for 1x1s I pretty much do [abbr=incredibly fuckin lewd, or not]romance[/abbr], but I can do non-romantic stuff too if you give me something to work with xP
The only genre I find myself not entirely comfortable with is really sci-fi stuff, but, if the plot/idea catches me enough it can hold my interest.
Usually owo xd rawr
welppp...I guess that’s okay for now
thanks for reading, you potatoes
