Twelve hours later...

Another day had passed in the real world. Many Oneiros were not around so they could lead their regular daily lives. Hez spent the day sleeping in her half of the bedroom while Lin continued fiddling with her chalkboard monitor to observe the Oneiros who were present in Vivi-Dream. Remniche's outer borders were quiet; no signs of negative zones were present, and whatever zones were present didn't pose a particular threat. Lin was most interested in finding out why the previous night's dungeons had fused into one. Hez could tell her more from her experience with purifying the artifact, but Lin didn't want to disturb her much-needed rest.

It was slowly turning into another night in the real world. Lin had to abandon her research for now to prepare for another potentially active night of cleansing bad zones. Just as she was putting her chalk sticks and brush away, she heard the door from upstairs creak open. Loud footsteps echoed in the expansive hallways. Then Hez revealed herself from the upper floors and glanced down at Lin.

"Good evening, Hez. Did you sleep well?" Lin asked.

The mute girl nodded and rejoined her partner as she asked, "Was the purifying a little intense for you?"

Hez fiddled her fingers a little and 'replied' in silence. Lin frowned and said, "Sorry for all the stress that put on you. Do you feel any different than yesterday, or do you still feel like yourself?"

Hez 'said' that while she had some blurry vision and was feeling the exhausting aftereffects of an adrenaline rush, she still had her personality intact. Lin always asked this because the purification process was very risky. It directly exposed the healer's mind to someone else's, and mental cross-contamination could occur if they weren't careful. It all depended on the severity and intensity of the negative emotions they were purifying. Lin worried about Hez for the whole day because of this, but it looked like she had nothing to be concerned about anymore.

"Fantastic," Lin smiled. "Let's focus on non-violent zones for tonight just so you can recover. There's enough Oneiros to handle the more dangerous zones if needed."

After getting ready for another night of investigating, Lin and Hez were about to go down the museum's steps when they spotted Alice standing nearby.

I'm going to throw in a timeskip in my next post to sort of recalibrate our characters and let us start a new adventure without worrying about waiting for anyone.

Much better this time around, Shinra. Thanks for taking the time to polish the personality section up - coupled with the bio, it was easier for me to understand.

NOTICE: I won't officially start until Wednesday or Thursday, as I have been busy with spring cleaning at my house today and need to finish up tomorrow. @.@;

The gist of my first post is that Melvin will have emerged from a Sect facility he and some rebels destroyed at the southernmost tip of Sord. The story will also begin in Sord, and our characters will gradually move north to Boreas (at least, Melvin will want to comb the country for Sect facilities to destroy starting south and weakening their footholds in Sord and Zenterr). As I'm too lazy to make a map right now, let's use South America as a go-to map for now. Sord would cover Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and the Falkland Islands. Zenterr has the largest landmass, which would cover Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay and Brazil. The remaining northern countries from Ecuador to French Guiana would be Boreas, making it the smallest country.

Kilphy wasn't sure what to do. She had failed to notice Fourze until he had sped way past her from a different entrance. On top of that when the two girls passed by each other, Kaguya had given her a wave and smile before flying near the ship.

"Geez! I bet Gentaro didn't bother asking communications before heading out," she pouted. "I need to keep things under control before his eagerness causes any trouble."

Not only could she do that, Kilphy could also perform an impromptu check of the immediate surroundings around the ship just in case there were any hidden hostiles. She also wanted to act as a guide for the Japanese lady and get her inside because despite whatever powers she possessed, it probably wasn't pleasant to hang out in space without protection. She didn't think the bamboo princess was dangerous, but there was always a good chance of enemies following her through whatever portal she used to get here. With that, Kilphy followed Kaguya's path while using her in-built scanners in her visor to pan the area.

"Thank you," Kilphy replied and hung up. She removed her rubber gloves and apron, then flipped open her cat face-shaped wristwatch and rotated a few knobs inside before raising both hands up. The watch glowed pink, then transformed into a bodysuit that enveloped her. Pink-colored pieces of armor, gloves, knee-length boots and an extraneous cat tail shimmered into existence, and a pair of flower-shaped rockets literally blossomed onto her back. Normally her head armor was a simple cat-eared hairband, but it changed into a helmet with fake cat ears that covered her face with a translucent green visor. With the transformation complete, Kilphy was now the Mecha-Magic Peacekeeping Force's leader and magic specialist Nelke Neko.

Nelke Neko hurried to the nearest airlock and locked herself in, preparing to go into space. After a short countdown, the airlock doors opened and she fired up the rockets on her back with her fire magic, propelling her out into the void to intercept with the black-haired girl.

Good enough for me. I won't be starting this 'til maybe Tuesday or Wednesday since some folks need to work on their CS.

Well, I actually was aiming at having her a magic knight, in the vein of Kratos, Zelos, Raven and the like. She wouldn't get so many base artes and wouldn't get the strongest spells but she'd get to dip into both and combinations as the time goes on. It's part of her theme of duality as both human and elf, warrior and mage.

If that's the case, she wouldn't be able to go past mid-tier abilities. She can be balanced in both areas, but not specialize in one or the other.

@ AsunaWolf - Sure, make a CS as soon as you can. Just remember my super-tight restrictions on Dark Elves, and make the CS within a reasonable amount of time, and you should be good. I won't be starting the story posts until later this week, depending on how things go for character creation.
