Just you wait. I'm calling my army of flying fish.

No light
No air
Only stone and water

That is how it should’ve been
But one god thought it was wise
To open a gateway to the depths

He did not look
His concentration was elsewhere
But he felt the air bubbles on his skin

It infuriated him

He would punish the trespasser

These coins, he would deal with later

Without breaking his concentration
Without looking away from the bright light above him
He put the nail of his finger trough the portal

As he kept it open, he called for one of his servants

Leaving his tent, Lod noticed a small box with a note on it. He read it, opened the box looked in it. It was a beautiful carved statue of a whale, but nothing more.

Odd, he thought to himself. He put it in his bag and went on his way.

Lod’s mind went to his sacrifice. What would he want to give to the gods? It had to be something special, so he couldn’t buy it. Even if Lod wanted to, he was broke.
Maybe it had to be something he made. But making things wasn’t Lod’s strong side. He was a blacksmiths apprentice for a while, but he was rubbish at it. He also didn’t have the hands for woodworking or weaving. No, making wasn’t an option.
It can also be something he carried. Like his clothes, or something only he held of value. However, Lod didn’t have much, and what he had he wanted to keep.

What a mess, this way I’ll never have a good sacrifice.

Lod was so deep in thought that he bumped into a man. When he looked up, he saw it was the well-known Flin. He went hunting with him once, for the old lord of this province. Lod didn’t do much of the hunting, he was just there to carry the dead bear home.
“Sorry thare, Flin. Almoast didn’t see yer there. How’s life?”

Only then Lod noticed the shaking little boy beside Flin. He stood there awkwardly, he wasn’t that good with children.
“Heeyy… How ‘r you doin’?”
It's bothering me to...
Not realy, if you want you can begin as a champion of a god.

"It's to show we care. So the gods will feel welcome and wanted." The old priest droned his trained reply. He sighed. "So says the doctrine, truth is. I believe it's to give the people peace of mind. They see an abundant party with a giant pyre, no expenses held. They will see that we can afford it. They will feel safe and happy. The festive mood will inspire them to bring great gifts, make promises to oneself or just enjoy a well deserved party."The old man stared into the fire, the light from the flames lit up his parchment like skin to a warm hue."This is a time to feel alive. To make changes and to enter a new chapter in your life my boy."The priest looked at the silver trinket, it wasn't to him to judge worth."Maybe this time you bring something truly special. Something that means something to you. A young man like you should have ambitions."

Lod looked at the old man. He thought about what he just said. Maybe it was true, this was a moment of change and renewal. Quitting old habits, taking on new virtues. It was a good time to start again.
Lod stood up. “Yer right, yer grace. ‘ts time to do something big this time. I mean, we have de big fire, don’t we? Better use it.”
He made a last waving gesture to the priest as he walked away. He went to the edge of the fairground, to his large tent next to the temple walls. He entered and packed his belongings.

What should I get myself, he thought, and what would I want in return?
Who is going to answer me?

AND AS ALWAYS KIDS, REMEBER:

"THE SECRET IS IN THE SIGN!"

No light
No air
Only stone and water

Hal by hall, brick by brick, atom by atom
His gaze was everywhere in the Impossible Citadel

He raveled in his study
Drinking secrets and knowledge like the water around him

Not even a fraction was uncovered
There was so much to see, so much to learn

He saw a hole

He went down the giant corridors
The enormous halls

But then he thought of the hole

There was so much to work with
So much open space

But he could only think of the hole

He looked through it and saw darkness
He tried to fit through it, but couldn’t

And this maddened him

He cursed without words
Raged without noise
Many unfortunate sailors found their end.

He needed something
Something small

For the first time
Cre’oan Mal gazed upwards
To see a bright light

Burzadurr, I would advice against beïng "The father of planet earth, and shaper of planets". Because, when you leave the shape of this world in shadows, we could do more creative things with it than just another round planet. Also, being a planet or i'ts core isn't very... mythalogical i feel.
Also, maybe your portfolio is a bit grand. You almoast encompass every aspect of the world. It might interesting if you have just one element, or just natural disasters, or balance. That way, you have can have flaws, which are needed in a story.

The old priest turned to see Lod, who was sitting by the fire with a drink. He slowly descended from his high chair and walked over to the man he'd known when he was a child to sit down next to him."It's going to be a special night tonight. Many people with great hopes and plans. What about you Lod."

Lod stood up as the old priest approached, but only to hand him a glass of wine. “ n’thing special yer grace, just my own traditions as usual.” He took a small silver trinket from his pocket. “First thing I bought today, from my last salary.”

Lod sighed as he sat down besides the old man. He turned to him, with a puzzled look on his face.
“In all my years I have never had to make the big fire. The last time, old whats-its-name made one, but that was because it was his last. Why waste so much lumber? I mean, the last time something happened was ages ago, and then only big flowers appeared.”

“Not to disrespect the gods, of course…” Lod added hastily, drinking from his tankard.
