Bio

First, a poem, about my ego -

I'm not just smart guys,
I'm a MENSA,
So healthy I'm made of Polenta,
Not expensive, and, I taste great,
I'll help you lose weight, lames can't hate.
I'm like a boat, the boat's ship-shape,
Wish we could date, i'm so tip-top.
I'm magic and amazing, and I won the Civil War,
Singlehandedly, for the North, so hip hop.
You gotta get me, and, get me,
Then geddit and geddit again,
Get a dozen of me and you'll be buzzin' like a bee hive.
I'm like an ancient demi-god,
You wanna leave me little offerings,
all the mortal imitators gotta go,
I'm hotter than a habanero pepper in a lava flow.
Without me you're lame and afraid,
But now you get laid,
Now you get paid.
I'm better than competitors,
I'm spreading like an epidemic,
and you better get me or you're gonna get AIDS.
:P

Still working on minor stuff like adding critters and probably some more society details, but, all the juicy stuff is done.

Here he is, the Old Man, Death's Darling, Sleeth Rethrah. Murder God FTW

@vietmyke

No need to worry. My guy isn't some SOCOM war hero. He's just a 35 Mike E5. Finished his contract, got out. Had to go private sector. :)
I'm probably going to throw some stuff in my history about some conflicts and what not to help flesh out my character's background. Maybe like a UN police action in Southeast Asia or something like that. Do I have to go ahead to throw some history into the world chief?

Alright, so, we got some magic-y stuff and what not in here so gravitating more and more towards Shadowrun proper. I suppose my question would be are there going to be metatypes? I throw my hat in the not ring. Honestly, I love Shadowrun but I found all of the fantasy elements to be the least interesting and weakest part of the game (Magic, fantasy races, dragons etc) Call me old fashioned but I like my cyberpunk to be about the horrors of technology and the collapse of the nation-state. I get that the metatypes are an extension of racial tensions but I don't think you really need that in Hong Kong, they have plenty of that already between Hong Kong natives, Chinese, Taiwanese, and immigrants from all over without adding elves and dwarves. If they are there, okay, I'm cool with that too, just wanted to throw out the idea right at the start.

Now! Cool stuff! Character idea: Thinking about using an ex-Army HUMINT (Either American, German, or UK National who has immigrated) so I'll have some good ole fashioned shootin' people skills but with a great focus on talking with locals, gathering information, and threat assessment given that he/she was HUMINT and not infantry MOS. Got out after their contract and ended up going to Hong Kong for a new life, failed miserably and ended up signing on with the security company due to the only experience they have is in this line of work. So, do what you know and hope for the best. Probably will have some sensory mods like eyes and ears along with some handy-dandy lingusoft for that dirty glorious brain computer.
Always down for a little cyberpunk skulduggery.
The water breathing was redundant thanks to the coat Reemes had. It allowed him to swim like a fish and breath like one too. He was glad to see the beholder had something just like his and was using that mobility to make sure no one got lost. That was a good thing to do. Meant The old ghost didn't have to. Instead, he used his speed to swim ahead of everyone and make sure the way was clear as they were being led into the deep. The water around them was wrong. Sure, it pretended to be his horrible love, but, he knew it was nothing like his love. This water was different somehow and it made Calico Reemes uneasy. The good news was the swim did not take too long. An hour of swimming might be hard on most folks but he had a magic coat and it made the whole trip a breeze. Well, a dip maybe.

The best part of the trip though was the end. Right at the end of the swim was a group of fish-men who just didn't know better. They thrust three pronged spear forth and demanded information from them. The strangest thing was they asked for their purpose and not names, where-comes, or how'd-ya'get-heres. Well, that did just make the whole exchange much easier to deal with. Only one question was easier to dodge and disregard than a mess of them. Even better, Koran had started the negotiations. He always liked it when the mad woman started talking to people. He paired her pleasant madness with his own profoundly unfriendly kind to great effect.

Reemes moved up next to the jester and an excited bounce in everything he was doing. The hood of his coat was still up and shading the top part of his already dark face in shadow made ever darker by the scattered light of the oceans. The bottom half of his face was a closed bear trap of white grinning teeth. The smile did not touch the eyes of the pirate as he stood next to his companion. He didn't bother speaking either. He just stood, stared, and grinned like a lunatic. He wanted them to strike out. He wanted them to say more threats. He thought these men needed a good thrashing and he was in a great mood. He always gave the best mouth-full-of-my-gun goodbyes when he was in such a state.
Edited. I removed the Null Field entirely, changed the ship from 3 to 4, and adjusted the staff as well as clarified its function. I think Maybe the problem was I over-flavored it and the rather mundane offensive capabilities (Compared to many other characters) may have been lost in my description.
