Theme SongName: Miyako Kita
Appearance: Kita stands at 169 centimetres and weighs 55 kilogram. She has a slightly apple-shaped, but also definitely athletic build. Her face is triangle-shaped with gray, thin almond eyes. Additionally, her greek nose, small lips and generally subtle make up gives her an appearance some people would describe as a “natural beauty”, despite Kita actually caring a great deal each morning about how she looks. Kita's black hair reach to her upper arms and is decorated with a gray alice band.
Kita wears the standard Shinigami uniform, only modified by a petrol-colored scarf, which she either puts under or above her uniform, depending on her mood.
Age: 197
Race: Shinigami
Rank: Lieutenant of Squad Seven
Spiritual Pressure Color: Very light blue
Personality: On duty, Kita is very diligent in getting her work done as quickly and efficient as possible. She is also very attentive about other people doing their work correctly and can react very stern and harsh when she finds someone's productivity to be lacking. Nonetheless, Kita does not like obeying orders without question, though less because she has certain ethical standards, but more due to her believing that some orders are just way too inefficient.
In her free time, Kita is far more apathetic concerning the needs of her fellow Shinigami, except for some people she has taken a personal liking to. Kita prefers solitary hobbies, such as reading both fiction and history, studying Kido or playing video games on her own. An interesting goal of her is to drink every alcoholic drink on the world, hence she uses her time in the Real World to seek different bars quite often.
History: Miyako Kita is the second daughter of a pair of relatively well-off merchants in the better Rukongai districts. Like her older sister, she was raised to eventually take over the business from their parents; but also like her older sister, she realised she had a greater spiritual pressure than average. However, she at first did not decide to join the Shinigami. When their parents died in an unfortunate incident, however, she and her sister soon came to the realization that they have great trouble working with each other. Unfortunately, the sisters had a hard time working together, as they both saw each other very unfit to run the business. Her sister deemed Kita to be too introverted and detached, while Kita found her sister to be tyrannical and ungrateful.
After a big argument, Kita left her sister and joined the Shinigami. The time at the academy helped a great deal at building Kita's character, and it is then when she became the dilligent and acclaimed person she is known for nowadays.
Due to her great talent at Kido, Kita first joined the Fourth Squad. However, she found the healing arts a bit too boring for the long term, and switched squads for a while – uncertain on where she could feel completely well – before she landed in the Seventh Squad. Her final decision was helped by the fact that her peers at that time were very easy to influence, which satisfied her desires to correct their work whenever she felt necessary.
Once Kita rose through the ranks, she grew fond of her Squad. Additionally, she believes that switching to a different squad would mean she'd had to deal with a new group of people, which she would find extremely tedious.
Other: -
Shinigami Skills: Average Reiryoku (2/4):Miyako Kita's Reiryoku niveau is not unusual and in fact expected for a person of her rank. Nonetheless, it is to be noted that Kita, through years of long training, is quite adept at controlling her Reiatsu to great extend. She is able to channel her Reiryoku for Kido purposed very good as well.
-> Impressive Reiatsu (3/4)
-> Impressive Kido Power (3/4)
Zanjutsu Practitioner (1/4): Miyako Kita is able to use her sword, although it is without doubt not her area of expertise. Despite this, she has learned - due to her Zanpakuto's abilities - to be adept at hitting objects flying in her direction. She has, after
Seitekitan urged her more and more, vowed to improve her Zanjutsu skills. Tomorrow. Definitely. Probably. Maybe.
-> Pathetic Offense (0/4)
-> Average Defense (2/4)
-> Poor Physical Strength (1/4)
Hakuda Expert (2/4): Captain Hiro Masumata has ordered a strict Zanjutsu and Hakuda training regiment on the seventh Squad. For some strange reason, only the Hakuda training seems to stick. While not a master, Kita has showed great progress on this area and is able to teach students.
-> Average Offense (2/4)
-> Average Defense (2/4)
-> Poor Physical Strength (1/4)
Kido Master (3/4): Kita claims that her skills are equaling these of a captain, and even though her words are not exactly true, it is without doubt that her level is very close to that of a captain's and that she will easily surpass the average captain one day that is in a not-so-distant future.
Impressive Intelligence (3/4):
Kita is a very quick person, able to accurately and swiftly assess new situations and new informations. Furthermore, she is capable of using her knowledge to assess possible developments for the future and present.
Vast Knowledge (4/4):
It is somewhat of a joke in her Squad that Kita is a walking encyclopedia, but it is a joke that holds completely true. She has a vast knowledge of Soul Society's history, it's present situation as well as the diverse positions and skills of the Gotei 13. It is also said that she makes the best drinks in Soul Society.
Hoho Expert(2/4): She knows how to move that booty.
-> Impressive Mobility (3/4)
ZanpakutoName: Seitekitan (静的端 , Static End)
Type: Unspecified
Spirit Appearance:An old, pale woman in a white simple coat that conceals almost her entire figure. Only the lower portion of her face and her hands with their abnormally long finger nails are seen.
Seitekitan does not talk, but instead her messages appear on her white coat.
Inner World: A seemingly endless gray, medieval-style wall, usually 4 meter in width, stands somewhere in a vast ocean. The height varies greatly. Occasionally, the wall is submerged into water, but at other places, it is so high that one is unable to see anything but clouds below. The ocean is deep and completely devoid of life.
Sealed Appearance: A usual katana with a light-blue handle and a retangular guard. The sheath is just as simple and in the same color.
Shikai Release Command:Make a stand,
Seitekitan!
Shikai Appearance: Seitekitan's blade simply increases length by 20 centimetres. Plus, a light-blue ribbon with a length of up to 100 centimetres grows out of the end of the handle. It automatically wraps itself around Kita's arm. The ribbon is, oddly enough, the part of the Zanpakuto that is the least likely to be destroyed, allowing Kita to have a hold on her sword at all times.
Shikai Skills: Seitekitan's main ability is too pause something for 2 seconds if it is touched by the blade, after which it continues doing whatever it would have done without the pause, although some objects might be destroyed during their pause. Only projectiles are definitely paused. Beings can only be paused if they are sufficiently weaker than (or weakened by) Kita.
1.
Kabekakudai (壁拡大, Wall Expansion)
Kita's spiritual pressure is coated around the blade. When she swings her sword, an energy wave is created which applies Seitekitan's effect on everything the wave hits, thus allowing a somewhat larger effect area.
Bankai Name: Saigo no Teiko (最後の抵抗 , Last Stand)
Bankai Appearance:
Kita is coated into the robe of her Zanpakuto's spirit while a massive dome is erected around her, essentially creating a closed circle. The radius differs, and depends on the amount of Spiritual Pressure Kita emitted at the activation of her Bankai, with the average being a radius of 18 meters.
Bankai Skills:
Everything within the walls is, essentially, prisoned. The dome cannot simply be destroyed, even by superior foes who will need very much firepower to escape. However, anyone on the outside is refused entrance either, although it is possible to enter if the sufficient firepower is given. Damage done to the wall is regenerated quickly, and the Bankai uses the Spiritual Pressure of it's inhabitants to repair itself.
Thus, this Bankai is a purely defensive one. The strategic goal is to lure the enemy into spending all their energy until they are too drained to put up a fight. The greatest benefit is that the Bankai lasts even if Kita were to die.
