I haven't done this in a while, but I figure it's best to just jump right in with both feet and hope for the best, right? So I'm looking for a roleplay partner or maybe more than one partner if people are interested. But before I get to my ideas, here's a few things about the style of roleplay I'm after.
I'm 18+ and prefer that my partner be as well. No, this does not mean that I'm looking for sex in my roleplays. I am perfectly fine with mature themes of pretty much all kinds (I prefer a dark and gritty story in fact) but when it comes to sex, I would rather just fade to black unless there's a good reason it needs to be written for the plot. Writing it out is awkward for me, but maybe I'm just not very good at it. And if that's the case, then I figure that's only more reason to avoid it. I'm also willing and able to play any gender characters, and I also tend to happily play multiple characters if the plot demands it.
As far as post length and grammar goes, I'm not looking for a novel of the most intricate and colorful prose I've ever seen. I actually prefer about a paragraph or two per post. I like the pace to be fast and getting a massive wall of text back is honestly kind of daunting to follow up on and can sometimes kill my motivation. And as long as I can read and comprehend what you're trying to get across, I'm not going to be a stickler for proper spelling and grammar. This is just supposed to be for fun after all.
With that said, on to the plots!
In the distant future, humanity has lost its place as the dominant species on the planet after the sudden rise of monstrous but intelligent creatures known simply as Lycans. They have the appearance of anthro wolves that stand between six and seven feet. After decades of war, the Lycans have enslaved humans and now keep them as livestock (due to their taste for human meat) and slaves (due to their distaste for toiling with their hands) but not all humans have surrendered to the Lycans. A small group of resistance fighters remain. They have a simple goal. Fight back and hope to free enough humans to give their species a chance to retake the world.
The planet has been completely overrun by mutants. Every city on the planet has fallen to the relentless hordes, except for one. This final haven is where all the remaining humans live. They mount a desperate and constant defense in their fortress-like shelter, but with every week that passes, the mutants take a little more ground. It's only a matter of time before they are overrun and decimated. Unless something changes to give humanity a chance in a war that seems to have an inevitable tragic ending.
With Earth's natural resources being rapidly depleted and the environment devastated to the point where pollution is causing the planet to die slowly but surely, a desperate search for a new inhabitable planet finally yields a potential world suitable for colonization. A ship is launched, but when the colonists arrive at their destination, they find the planet less suitable than they hoped. But their ship is damaged beyond repair when entering the atmosphere, leaving them stranded with no hope but to attempt to make a home out of the new world regardless of how dangerous it might be.
A popular guy in school is coming off a fantastic summer of parties, beaches, and girls. He's feeling like he's on top of the world and nothing can mess up his final year of high school. But when summer vacation comes to an end and he returns to school for his senior year, he soon learns that not one but two girls that he was with during the summer are pregnant. How will he handle the situation he finds himself in? How do the girls handle knowing that they're both carrying the same guy's babies? Will he be there to support both? Choose one? Or maybe find a way to distance himself entirely?
A group of teens find a candle in one of their attics, along with a journal from one of their great grandmothers. Entries in the journal claim that whenever the candle is blown out, and a wish is spoken out loud, the wish is guaranteed to come true. But it's not as wonderful as it seems. The candle has a will of its own and evil intentions. While each wish is granted, it twists the words of the wisher to alter the outcome as it sees fit. But the temptation to have all of your wishes fulfilled is too much for almost anyone to resist.
A group of friends/family decide to play a board game one afternoon. They choose a game very similar to The Game of Life, but have no idea that the game is more than it seems, and that they are about to find themselves in a Jumanji-like situation where everything that happens in the game, good or bad, happens in the real world. And that includes the possibility of drawing the wrong card and having a tragic, fatal accident...
I decided to add a few general ideas that I'm interested in too. Don't necessarily have plots for any of these, but if you're interested, then I'm sure we can come up with something.
Werewolves Vampires Zombie Apocalypse Witches Horror Aliens Pokémon Star Wars
Shoot me a PM if you're interested in any of my ideas!
