In a roleplay about a group of individuals whom have developed superpowers through scientific experiments and technological enhancements, I'm not particularly concerned about whether Asia invading the USA is realistic or not.

It's fine, I totally understand your viewpoint. The only problem is that, it's honestly kind of ignorant to dismiss the facts, just because they happen to support something that you don't particularly like. Especially if that something just happens to be ignorance itself. It's kind of hypocritical.

But, anyway, I hope we both can put this behind us and continue to act maturely and not let this get in the way of things.

I would have assumed that the United Republic used some sort of overpowered sci-fi experimental tech themselves to beat the US, but the OP seemed to imply an amphibious assault, so I thought I would comment on how ridiculous that is.
