@BlueAjah Perhaps Wes should intervene in Claire's life... Shake things up a bit. xD

That would make for some great drama lol XD
A smile stayed plastered on her face as Sophi came back from her date, obviously upset, and told Claire she needed to leave. With everything she had done, Claire was rather confused as to why she disliked her so much. Did she do something wrong? She was only trying to be nice. Perhaps the two could talk over coffee some day. She looked to Riley and smiled, giving him another kiss on the cheek. “Don’t forget about Sunday.” She whispered to him. Even after offering to do the dishes, Sophi simply hurried to get her out of the house. Sighing, she waved goodbye to everyone and thanked them for letting her stay. It was getting late and she didn’t want her parents to worry, anyway. Claire blew a loving kiss to Riley before the door was slammed right in her face.

When she returned home, the sound of her parents arguing about money again echoed through the house. Claire silently walked up the stairs to her bedroom, hoping they wouldn’t catch her eavesdropping. There were very few people she loved more than her parents but sometimes she wished she could take a break from them. It seemed all they talked about was money and while Claire knew they wouldn’t survive without it, it was extremely stressful to deal with.

The obnoxious sound of her loud alarm woke Claire from her slumber, a sleep full of beautiful dreams of being successful in various fields of work. A yawn escaped from her mouth as she sat up in her fluffy and pink bed. From the silence, she knew both of her parents had already left the house even though the time read 7:00 am. Being in such high careers, both of them dedicated all of their time to work. They spent more time at work then they did at home, which was fine she supposed. Claire kept busy too, always trying her best to be involved in everything. Speaking of which, she needed to dress and get ready. She had go to Psychology class at 10 and she was also scheduled for a doctor’s appointment at 1pm. On top of that, she also had promised she would volunteer for the Red Cross later in the afternoon. Busy day!

Dressing in a comfortable yet cute dress, Claire applied light makeup and made her way downstairs where she discovered they were all out of breakfast bars. Sighing heavily, she added the bars to the list on the fridge and decided it would be a coffee run today. Sometimes her parents forgot about the simple things like her favorite breakfast bars but Claire always let it slide. They were busy, after all. It was also an excuse to go to get coffee so how could she upset at that?

Unfortunately, the local coffee shop was buzzing with people and the line had at least 10 people in front of her. Today was simply not starting out well. No matter, though. Claire had relatively good patience and would gladly wait for the rush of coffee and perhaps a muffin for the effort. Smiling, she waited.

For some reason I always thought they were talking about Fei or Emillia. Huh.

I also thought that post was about Fei when she orginally posted it XD
@KoL Ohhh. My bad, I just automatically assumed you would control them. I'll make a small edit to my post then :)
Fei

During their stay at Emilia’s, Fei wasted no time. Every moment was either spent training or restoring her strength. With the competition quickly approaching, she needed to be ready for anything. While she was positive the competition would prove to be no challenge, Fei would take no risks. This would be her chance to earn the glory she deserved and no one or anything would get in her way. She barely saw much of Jessi, too concerned with training. Living within Emilia’s walls was extremely uncomfortable for Fei and she couldn’t wait for the tournament to be complete. Perhaps when she returned, celebration and parades would welcome her. Not that she cared on what the public thought of her though. There was only one person she wanted to make proud.

The day had finally come. It was time for years of endless training and dedication to finally pay off. Instead of making friends with mere commoners, Fei had focused on getting better, becoming the best. She closed her eyes and breathed in her surroundings. This would be a day Fei would long remember. People all across the world would remember this day and it would be a time she would retell for the rest of her life. Anyone who attempted to stop her success in the tournament wouldn’t walk out of the arena the same, she almost pitied them.

Preparing herself for battle, Fei slowly dressed in fresh clothes and attached her crimson swords to her back. No one stood a chance. She would rip through anything or anyone they sent at her. Anything it took to win, she would do, even if that meant reaching deep into the pits of hell. Gameplans and strategies filled Fei’s thoughts as she made her way down to the battlefield. Depending on who she was facing, there was several ways to go about defeat. Preferably, she would like to defeat to the enemy as quickly as possible but sometimes proper strategy was required.

Roaring cheers echoed across the colosseum as Fei, Jessi, and the rest of the champions entered the arena. Despite her attempt to show any signs of emotions, she couldn’t help but smile as she listened to the applause. Although she was sure everyone in here would rather slit her throat than watch her take the win. She stayed relatively close to Jessi, hoping the two could keep an eye on each other. With so many enemies ready to stab their hearts, it was better to have four eyes keeping watch than two. “Stay sharp,” she whispered to Jessi as they walked, happy enough to even flash him a smile. “Make the Imperium proud.”

The crowd hushed as Emilia took the stage and raised her hand high in the air. Part of Fei sickened at the thought of how much power such an arrogant fool and traitor could have. She wondered if her mother was aware of how much power the fake princess had. When she returned home, she’d have to mention it to her mother. No matter how hard she tried though, the girl could never be as powerful as the Imperium.

The girl was captivating during her speech but her eloquence was nothing compared to the Imperator. No one could outshine the lovely spark of the heart of the Imperium. Fei’s ears perked up at the sound of the red relic for the winner, a suiting color for Fei to take. The fake princess then went to lift a curtain beside her throne and Fei’s whole existence seemed to shake.

Sitting in the chair was none other than the Crimson Knight, Asgard, Fei’s mother. Shocked to the bone, Fei couldn’t help but drop to her knees. “Mother?” She called out, her voice full of uncertainty. Fei watched in pure horror as Emilia touched her mother’s beautiful face. Eleonor didn’t move, made no motion to stop the horrid creature coming closer.

All of Fei’s body suddenly felt numb and she wasn’t sure if she was even breathing. What was happening? Why was her mother here? How did such a vile animal take her? It made absolute no sense. Fei’s eyes never left her mother as the crowd’s cheers grew louder. Something had zapped away all of Fei’s control and left her body an empty vessel full of nothing…

Emilia went on to announce the winner of the competition had full control to do whatever they pleased to her mother. The comment ignited the small fire diminishing within her. This treacherous monster had stolen her mother and given her up to the winner? All thoughts of winning glory and the relic were quickly erased as the protection of her mother grew. She would win or die before she’d let any of these traitors lay a finger on her mother. Feeling the strength within her grow, Fei let a wave of fire explode around her body, hopefully scaring both the crowd and her competitors. She looked up at Emilia and her mother, not even caring if she couldn’t hear her.

“You little, cold-hearted bitch. This illegal behavior will not be tolerated. The Imperium will destroy you and this fake kingdom built on thieves and traitors. I will burn you to a crisp before I let anyone lay one finger on my mother, you coward.” She stared at the girl intensely, a fire glowing within her eyes. Despite Fei’s conflicted feelings, the competition began and Fei prepared herself for her next competition. Taking one last look at Jessi, Fei mouthed a few words to him. “Make them pay.”

Standing in front of her was some tough barbarian who could control the wind, possibly the worst combination with her fire. The battle would have to be won without her blazing gift. No matter though, she still contained a burning heat that was yearning to be unleashed. Anger welled up inside of her and she looked at her competitor with dark eyes. No mercy. Fei would destroy everyone who pledged their allegiance to the coward of a princess. This would end quickly before the bastard could even blink. Taking a deep breath, Fei sent a pulse of flaming heat to the man's feet. The barbarian screeched in pain but before he could so much as look at Fei, she was already upon in. Using her double swords, almost glowing with heat, Fei slashed at the man's stomach and kicked his sorry behind across the playing field where he stayed. Rubbing her hands together, Fei stared up at the pathetic princess and her mother. She would regret ever messing with her family.

@KoL@Awesomoman64
@KoL Ohh! I think Fei might actually explode from anger when she sees her mother. I'll start working on a post now. :D
Oh gosh Fei is about to go ballistic. XD How did they capture the Asgard though? I'm really curious.

Bolting through the city streets of Camelot, Merlin clutched the bag of fresh herbs for Gaius. It seemed life was just an endless repetition of chores, chores, and more chores! Prince Turniphead also needed his armor sparkling clean today, a process that could take forever. He muttered apologies as he almost accidentally knocked over an older man’s basket of cabbages. Time was running out and he wouldn’t be surprised if Arthur was already screeching for his presence. Why couldn’t Merlin have been born royalty? Perhaps then he could make Arthur spend a day on the stocks. Grinning, he shook his head at such silly thoughts. He’d have to deal with Uther if he was Arthur and plus, who would protect the whole of Camelot?

Mornings were always difficult for Merlin, especially when he stayed up late flipping through his magic spellbook Gaius had given to him. He rubbed his slightly bagged eyes. Thankfully the weather was pleasant, the sun slowly beginning to shine across the beauty of Camelot. Sometimes Merlin liked to just watch the life breathe through Camelot, people coming into town, children playing with each other, and parents going to work. Not that he had very much free time though, between being a servant (or slave) and saving Camelot, Merlin was extremely busy. How he did everything, Merlin didn’t even know.

“Gaius!” Merlin’s voice echoed across the physician’s room. Like always, the room was in chaos. Vials sat empty across the room, random powders and herbs sat in containers, and Gaius’s collection of books were scattered everywhere. One might think it was completely unorganized but both Gaius, Merlin, and his sister had no trouble locating things. Speaking of his sister and Gaius, no voice answered his as he entered the two’s bedroom in the back. “Hello? Anyone home?” Still no answer. Shrugging, he assumed the two were probably on Gaius’s daily run of giving medicines to patients. Merlin set down the bag of herbs on Gaius’s desk and hurried off to his next task.

Just as his foot rushed up the steps to the castle, Merlin clumsily slipped and fell forward. Just great.. Snickers came from the guards and Merlin couldn’t help but give them a cheeky grin. “Ah, must have slipped on something.” He silently nodded and stood right back up, wiping off his already dirty pants. Goodness, Merlin had just the luck today.

Making a pitstop at the kitchen, Merlin collected the prince’s royal breakfast. The delicious scent of fresh food filled his nostrils with delight, causing a loud rumble from his stomach to remind him of his puny breakfast of cheese and bread. Sometimes Merlin would secretly sneak a piece of food from Arthur’s meals. Of course the cabbage head took no notice of anything. Goodness, Arthur didn’t even noticed the time he served rat meat to him. Chuckling softly to himself, Merlin made his way out of the kitchens before one of the chefs scolded him for loitering too long

As much Merlin liked to pick fun at the prince, he cared for him, although he would never admit it. Despite any laws or social influences placed upon Camelot, the two had managed to form a bond of friendship. It was nice having a mate to discuss things and have fun from time to time, although most of their relationship consisted of Merlin cleaning up after Arthur. The only thing they could never talk about was his magic. One day, he hoped, he could tell Arthur everything and brag how many times he had saved his life. Like a wise dragon once told him, the two were like sides of a coin. Arthur was definitely the heads side though because his ego ran farther than all of Camelot’s lands. Merlin had never met someone as full of himself as Prince Arthur but he’d also never met someone as brave or merciful.

Slamming open the doors of the arrogant prince’s chambers, Merlin called out a loud cheer. “Rise and shine! Time for a new day has begun!” He carefully set the platter full of food down on Arthur’s table and opened the scarlet curtains, letting the sun shine directly on Prince Arthur’s tired face. “So let’s see here…. I need to wash your clothes, clean your armor, and clean your room. Is there anything else you need done for you?” Merlin gave Arthur a cheeky grin and waited for his response.

~Merlin

Personality:

Quirky doesn’t even begin to describe Merlin’s odd sense of humor. While his jokes can be quite humorous, Merlin’s loud mouth has a tendency to do more trouble than good. The sarcastic tone in his voice has many times landed him an all day stay in the stocks. Even after an entire week away from the rotten vegetable throw off, Merlin can still find moldy pieces of tomatoes stuck in his hair. He still hasn’t learned his lesson though and will continue to speak his mind as he pleases. Arthur can grow quite tired of Merlin’s troublesome behavior but they both tease each other from time to time (or all the time?). Whenever Merlin is within the king’s presence however, he does manage to hold his tongue. He is also extremely respectful to all members of magic until they show signs of abusing their power. Once someone identifies themselves as a magic user, Merlin is gravitated toward them and feels protective of them (that is unless they abuse their gift, again).

Merlin is also all about his wits. With little muscle to protect himself, he relies solely on his knowledge and intelligence to win battles (and of course his magic). He does have experience in sharpening a sword, cleaning armor, and practically everything a turnip head of a prince would need. Name a chore and Merlin has probably already done it. He can’t even count how many times he’s been stuck cleaning up horse dung in the stocks, probably holds the record for it. Words of wisdom tend to now and then sprout from Merlin’s lips. One of Merlin’s strongest abilities is to listen to the words all around him.

Kindness is also one of Merlin’s strongest assets. One might think someone with magic would be corrupted with a strong hatred against the kingdom of Camelot, but Merlin doesn’t see it like that. He lives with hope that one day Camelot, under the ruling of Arthur, will be a great day and age where magic will be considered as something special rather than a threat. Stubbornness can be one of Merlin’s worst enemies. Whenever he makes up his mind, it can be quite difficult to persuade him otherwise.

Despite his fragile appearance, Merlin is extremely courageous and braver than most. He will blindly follow Arthur, or anyone he cares for, into battle without looking back. Nothing will stop him from setting things right, even if that means going into danger. He sometimes describe this strength as just being stupid.

Strengths: Merlin’s biggest strength is his definitely his magical ability. He does also specialize in blending in and going unnoticed.

Weaknesses: If Merlin didn’t have his magic, one could say he might be screwed for his strength is extremely lacking.

Magic Capabilities:
“Magic isn't just a part of me. It is me. It's who I am.”

Merlin’s birth has been prophesied by multiple cultures for hundreds of years and he is destined to become the most powerful sorcerer to ever life. Unlike normal sorcerers who take years to master and perfect the craft, Merlin’s magic is able to grow at a much faster rate and he is able to master it much quicker. Without speaking any incantations, Merlin is able to move objects with his mind as well as blast people with his telekinesis (depending on the extend of the push, this can seriously injure or even kill people). He also has the ability to use telepathy to communicate with other magical beings and sense powerful magic.

Elemental magic is something Merlin also shows great strength in, with his strength being in fire. Merlin is great at control. He is able to create a small fire with his palm as well as send waves of fire at things and causing explosions. Through wind power, he is able to create whirlwinds as well as simply manipulate the wind. By using Sophia's Sidhe staff, Merlin can sends blasts of raw magic at people which can knock people out as well as kill them instantly. Whenever Merlin grows emotional, his magical powers can be extremely heightened.

Merlin is also greatly skilled in defensive magic. He is capable of creating magical shields that have the strength to stop a dragon’s fire. Possessing the power to wield the Crystal of Neahtid and the crystals in the Crystal Cave, Merlin is able to see the future and the events seen in the crystals always seem to happen.

After his father passed away, Merlin inherited the magic of controlling Dragons and is now one of the last Dragonlord. Through speaking Homeric Greek, Merlin is able to control not only dragons but any ancestors of Dragons whether they be nearby or far away. Dragons have slowly disappeared after Uther took the throne but Merlin released the Great Dragon from him and now goes to him for special advice. Due to his strong powers, some consider Merlin to be half-human. It’s a known fact that Dragonlords are closely related to dragons and thus, some people consider Merlin to be half-human, half Creature of the Old Religion.

Merlin also possess great natural resilience to magical attacks. Not only has he survived a rebound of his own killing spell but also the touch of the Dorocha (although he might not have survived if the Vilia hadn’t saved him). The only way to kill Merlin is through stabbing him in the heart with a sword forged by a dragon’s breath.

Possibly the weakest ability of Merlin is healing magic. Thankfully, he is a skilled physician and can heal people through medicine. Merlin is still practicing his healing magic though and perhaps one day it will become better. It can still be considered strong compared to other sorcerer’s magic but it’s still relatively weak for him. He’s not able to raise people from the dead but he can heal various wounds and illnesses at times.

Brief Biography:

Born in the small town of Ealdor, Merlin was raised by loving and caring mother. Life was simple and easy, free of monstrous beasts and immortal armies. Merlin was never able to meet his father for he left before Merlin was born, thanks to Uther’s new order of execution of any Dragonlords. While she loved him more than anything, Merlin’s mother knew she needed to send Merlin somewhere he could learn to control his magic and find his true purpose. After some awkward meetings with Gaius and Prince Arthur, it wasn’t long before Merlin fit right in.

He currently lives with Gaius and works for Prince Arthur, secretly protecting Camelot and saving Arthur’s life more times than he can count.
~Other Information~

Other: Merlin is the all time champion at picking fun with Prince Arthur.
