Her jet-black hair is cut into a neat bob that falls just below her chin. Shade Weaver usually wears dark, professional clothing—tailored blazers and slacks with a high-collared shirt underneath.

Notably, Shade Weaver does not normally have a shadow. Instead, Umbra, her sentient shadow, resides within the intricate raven tattoos that cover her arms. When Umbra is dormant, the tattoos remain visible. However, when Umbra is active, the tattoos fade away, and he emerges from them, leaving Kiera temporarily without them.

Shadow Manipulation:

Shade Awakening: Instead of simply stealing someone’s shadow, Shade Weaver awakens the specific shades within an individual. These shades are dark reflections of the person’s fears, insecurities, and suppressed impulses, taking on a physical, shadowy form.

Shadow Forging: Shade Weaver can solidify shadows into physical objects or weapons. She often creates weapons like swords or barriers, depending on the situation.

Shadow Meld: Kiera can merge with shadows, becoming nearly invisible and allowing her to move stealthily.

Sentient Shadow (Umbra): Kiera’s shadow, Umbra, is sentient and has a mind of its own. If Kiera loses control, Umbra can take over, amplifying her powers but at the cost of her autonomy. When in control, Umbra brings chaos and destruction.

Personality:

Kiera is strict, disciplined, and fiercely protective of her students. She cares deeply for them, though she rarely shows it openly. To keep herself grounded, Kiera needs some kind of constant stimulus, like caffeine or nicotine, helping her stay connected to the present. Secretly, Kiera desires to be the person her students turn to for help, wishing to be their favorite mentor, though she keeps this hidden.

Backstory:

Kiera’s ability to manipulate shadows first manifested in her rough neighborhood, where she and her sentient shadow, Umbra, caused devastation. Her chaotic powers led her to flee her hometown and fall into the hands of a crime syndicate, where she was forced to become an unwilling assassin. The headmaster of the School for Special Skills and Talents eventually helped her fake her death to escape, allowing her to join the school as a combat instructor.

Umbra manifests as a dark, shadowy version of Shade Weaver, standing at 8 feet tall. His form is fluid, constantly shifting between a solid state and formless darkness. His eyes glow a piercing red, conveying malice and power. Umbra resides within the raven tattoos on Shade Weaver’s arms, emerging from them when he takes control.

Ability:

Amplified Shadow Manipulation: Umbra can enhance Shade Weaver’s powers, creating impenetrable shadow barriers or aggressive duplicates.

Shade Awakening: Like Shade Weaver, Umbra can awaken the dark shades within individuals, bringing out their worst fears and impulses.

Shadow Possession: Umbra can take full control over Shade Weaver, amplifying her powers but pushing her toward more destructive actions.

Intangible Movement: Umbra can slip through cracks and into dark spaces, moving fluidly through shadows.

Personality:

Umbra is the embodiment of Shade Weaver’s darker emotions—her fears, doubts, and anger. He is manipulative, cunning, and relentless, always seeking control. Umbra feeds on negative emotions and is constantly trying to weaken Kiera’s resolve to take over her mind and body.

Backstory:

Umbra began as an extension of Kiera’s powers but slowly gained sentience, fueled by her emotional turmoil. He manipulated her into allowing him to take control, leading to a destructive event in her hometown. Now, he remains a constant threat, lurking within her mind, waiting for any opportunity to seize control again.

Technopathy: Kael can control and communicate with electronic devices and machines. However, the simpler the machine, the harder it is for him to control, making basic mechanical devices nearly impossible for him to manipulate.

Device Control: Kael excels at controlling complex electronics, including computers, vehicles, and advanced machinery.

Digital Mind: His brain processes information at lightning speed, allowing him to analyze vast amounts of data almost instantly.

Machine Empathy: Kael can "sense" machines and their states, detecting problems or malfunctions.

Technokinesis: Kael can telekinetically manipulate machines and devices, assembling or disassembling them with just a thought.
