A robotic bodyguard seems really out there for what is supposed to be normal teenagers. maybe if you add that one of his powers is that he always gets a protector in each universe it wouldn't be as odd.
So I had an idea for a Dragon Age RP.
This idea setting will be after Dragon Age Inquisition where a group of misfits must work together to try and live a normal life (normal is different for each person) this idea is based off Dragon Age 2, it will mostly take place in one city or at least a country. The location will be decided later. This will be heavily character driven, a character choice will have effects and reactions.
I would like a smaller group of about 5 - 8 characters. Any races and classes can be chosen, but it must make sense of the setting. Mages can be picked due to the choices the inquisitor made in their adventures. Mages are legally free, but they aren't trusted even in their role with the inquisition. But they won't be thrown to a tower or attacked by mobs, without reason. Qunari can be picked if you have a good enough reason why they would be out of Par Vollen. Tal-vashoth would be easier if you want to play a character of the Qunari race. Combat will be seen mostly in'Quests'.

Intimidating and serious is what would people would call this Qunari. In reality, he's painfully naive and easily confused. He tries to think objectively, but it makes him confused by everything outside of Par Vollen.
He acts stoic to hide his embarrassment of his nativity, he doesn't speak much since he has only learned the common tongue a few years ago ans is still learning, so he often has to stop talking to translate every word people speak.
Once you get to know him he starts to act like he did back in Par Vollen which is that he friendly and considerate to others. He loves animals often feeding stray cats and dogs and keeps them in his house. He likes to knit and sew clothes, which is a habit he picked up from his life, the clothes he makes are really warm and soft, but his sense of fashion is lacking. He can get excited easily.

Stealth: Throws a smoke bomb to the ground and hides in the madness, can hide even in plain sight.
Twin Fang: You lash out with both daggers, striking deep.
Rush: The rogue rushes forward, attempting to knock down the target and all nearby enemies.

Personality: Amala is a energetic young woman who speaks loudly of what she loves and she is really affectionate. She is painfully naive which makes her go into things head first without thinking ahead. She is very defensive of herself and others, she is protective of those she care about and for those who can't defend themselves.
Likes: Anime, Yoga, jogging, candy, Video Games
Dislikes: dicks, alcohol, Healthy food, Silence, pork
Bio: She came from a loving home with her parents and a older brother. She was taught from a young age to be respect to everybody but never take abuse from others. Her parents always spoke of protecting those who can't. She has always gain comfort when she helps others, whether it was with school work or cooking for her friends. She has always been fairly popular, due to her friendly personality and liking to help.
When she was in her pre-teens she became a fan of anime and video games. She had a liking for Slice of Lives animes, and RPG's for video games. She fell hard to the fandom scene. She writes fanfics and tries to cosplay characters from anime.
