Bump!
@Lady SeluneThen she's good. And yes it does.
Also, a bit of an addition from our antagonist as I feel I should let you know for future reference, they have these radioactive crystals on their face. If they burst, you'll get hit with some radioactivity. It's not as bad with just one, you'll lose like 2 hours of being able to go outside for every 2 seconds you're in the cloud. But, when you're surrounded by them? It can be a bitch.

I'll give you all the benefit of a thought and assume that, for the rp, you all didn't hit anything and are fine. Just keep this in mind for the rest of your encounters, okay?

@ProjectOdinI thought they would be childhood friends that grew into a relationship later on after meeting up again at the hero-prep course? I thought it would be an interesting idea to make it more interesting.
@t2waveChanging it, put it as the wrong blue.
@ProjectOdinCan my 2 characters be a couple, by any chance?

“Thanks, Sammy.”

Slipping her phone into her pocket, she slowly pulled herself up to her feet. She reached up in order to stretch her stiff bones and ended up letting out a small sigh of relief. Bending over, she grabbed her small backpack and put it on her back.

Grabbing her sunglasses, she marched over to the kitchen. On the fridge, there was a little mirror magnetized to the fridge door. She’d meant to make sure her lipstick wasn’t smudged and that she didn’t have dried up drool on her or something. But, catching sight of her eyes, she felt herself immediately tense.

The blackness swam inside of her eyes like ink, the whites of her eyes having this black inkiness pouring into it from her iris. It was… creepy. Something she hadn’t really focused on, instead considering it the physical reminder of what she is. Almost on cue, the whispering seemed to become audible, it being just quiet enough for her to not make it out.

Shaking her head, she tried to push away any feelings of unease. Slipping on the dark sunglasses, she looked into the mirror once more. She resumed her usual easy-going and uncaring smile, baring her teeth. Giving a nod to her reflection, she went to walk away when she caught sight of her jacket.

She hadn’t paid it much attention when she grabbed it, shoving it on without much notice. Her smile widened. Her brother had picked it out for her, saying it was nice to see a lighter color on her. He was still in the mindset that darkness was bad and lightness was good. He considered her an exception, regardless.

Warmness bubbling up inside her, she tried to return to the situation at hand. Leaving the kitchen, she waltzed form the kitchen towards her brother’s room. Knocking twice, she peeked her head in. She had to resist the urge to go ‘aww’ at seeing him curled up on his bed hugging a skeleton plushie. Sure, he may be tall and seem all dangerous-looking and grown up to outsiders but… he was her little bro, through and through.

Moving forward, she sat down on the bed. Taking a few seconds to watch them, she continuously repeats to herself that she was ‘Doing it for him. All for him’ to herself as she pokes him on his cheek repeatedly.

“C’mon bro, gotta wake up now. Gotta drop ya off at yer good ole’ buddy Sam’s house.” It was as she was saying this, she really noticed the accent. Too much time in New York, she reasoned with a shake of her head as her brother immediately sat up with excitement.

“I get to see Sam? Really? Wow!” Michael exclaimed, jumping up from bed to grab his shoes and his orange backpack, all the while Felicity watched him with a content expression and a happy grin.

“Ready!” Michael had exclaimed, expression bright as he stood in front of her, practically vibrating from excitement. Chuckling, Felicity stood up purposely slowly, purposely taking her time in stretching, enjoying the way her brother’s face flushed a pretty shade of red as he grew impatient.

“Come on, lazybones! We’ve gotta go!” Michael insisted, grabbing her hand and tugging her after him as he ran to the door, dragging Felicity along with him.

My bro is so cool, she thought to herself as they left the apartment.

Locking the door behind her, she held her brother’s hand as she walked him to Sam’s door. Stopping outside of it, she turned to her brother. “Now, what’re the rules?”

Michael’s face scrunched up in an adorable way as he tried to think.

“Don’t leave Sam.”

Nod.

“Listen to him no matter what.”

Nod.

“Be on my best behavior.”

Nod.

“Call you if something goes wrong.”

Nod.

Raised eyebrow.

“Oh yeah! And try to use my inside voice.”

Felicity gave a pleased nod, leaning up to press a kiss to his cheek and ruffle his dark hair while he whined. Adjusting her sunglasses, she reached out her hand and knocked.

Knock! Knock! Knock!
Lavender was initially annoyed and nervous. Her actions could’ve been thought of as reckless or paranoia-induced. But, you could understand where she was coming from, right? Coming from a world where your next-door neighbor or childhood friend could kill you without a second thought, having a stranger show up out of nowhere visibly armed would be enough to make anyone on edge.

And considering as soon as he showed up, those weird fungus-y monsters showed up?

Yeah, she’d like to think that her ‘paranoia’ was understandable.

But, her worries were diminished when the newcomer and the Latina female both attacked the 3 creatures. These fungal creatures where some of the weakest, you just had to be mindful of the crystals embedded in their skull. But, she would like to assume that they knew that.

Sparing nothing but a glance at those that remained in the shelter, she quickly removed her rifle from her back and levelled it out the outsider. Peering through her scope, she watched the fighting from afar as she looked around for any other enemies. Her eyebrows furrowed a bit before she relaxed, seeing there were only the 3 initially. She’d simply take it as luck and would not question it.

When the 3 were taken care of she put down her gun, trying to calm her nerves and relax her tense form. Rolling her shoulders, she cleared her throat before speaking, making sure to keep her voice down but enough to be heard. (It took a few attempts before she managed.)

“Now that that’s taken care of, maybe we should go back inside? You know, close the door this time?” She knew leaving the door open was a bad call and noted that. She’d remember next time and hopefully everyone else would too.
I'm not the best with fight scenes either so, I think we're all doing great. Post should be coming up soon.

ALSO, don't forget that there are only 3 enemies.
