No problem, this whole current situation is all sorts of out of whack. I'm not expecting people to put some tbrpg high on a list of priorities at this point lol. People post when they can, totally fine with me.
jeez im terrible at estimating time.

1300 Hours

The Stadium

The screen blinked off, plunging the room into a darkness illuminated only by the faint glow of indicator lights from the equipment lining the back wall.

This wasn't good.

The Operator formerly known as Thatcher steepled his hands, elbows resting on the desk which he had only recently come to occupy. A single breath, enough to collect his thoughts, before he spoke to the otherwise empty room.

"Blinds."

Immediately sunlight poured into the room on command, as the shutters slid back from the panoramic windows on the office wall. A click sounded from the door as the lock disengaged itself, confidentiality no longer needed as the call which had taken place moments before ended. Baker blinked as his vision adjusted to the change in illumination. The office was still in a partial state of repair, much like the rest of the facilities, evident by the mess of wiring still occupying one corner and the scuff marks of tools and materials still visible on the old flooring. His own personal effects were still packed away, not that he had very many to begin with, giving the room an austere appearance. Even so, he had made due with what he had.

Just as those around him had given the pace which the entire operation had been rushed back into service.

Now was the time for action, they had prepared as much as they could given the circumstances, and now only time would tell if they were ready.

Baker keyed in a code into the pad on his desk, this time speaking to someone other than the room.

"Gather active Operators, emergency briefing in an hour." He spoke.

"Yes sir," came the response on the other end of the line.

Moment of truth.

Across the Stadium the message went out, distributed over personal devices or brought in person for those who had yet to be issued any. The air of the entire complex took on a more active note, an increase in activity as actions and attention became focused. People fell into the well-worked motions of preparing for action.
Hey! Sorry for the delay! Had a lot of things to do... For some weird reason, my professors in the college think that real-time online classes aren't enough and thought that it would be a good idea to give us extra work to do like essays, exercises & etc... ALL AT THE SAME TIME T___T

...

And I may or may not have forgotten the deadline for a few of them... Which are for this monday...

Anyways, will have my post done tomorrow!! :-)

feeling that rn lol.

anyway, plot movement post going up tomorrow! (-ish) also, the roster should be all updated. pretty sure i spelled everyone's name right but i'm not gonna bet money on it.

apologies for the wait lads, we'll be kicking into gear soon.
Already have the perfect concept in my head but I'm having a tough time finding imgs lol

@Caasicam
Would a gadget based on destructive interference (same thing used in noise cancellation headphones, but more potent and effective) be possible? Something like... Either a personal equipment that would make the operator and everything in a small area around it completely silent (within acceptable limits ofc.)? Or even a deployable to mask or even eliminate the sound of breaching charges for example?

sounds fun to me. would probably be more useful as a piece of kit worn by the op, only cause for the most part it's best to think of our ops as being "attackers". they're usually going to be more mobile than not.

oh and don't worry about images too much. i'm totally fine if you get a profile up and then make changes to it/add stuff later, just give me a heads up if you do.
Hey! Found myself reading all the character sheets and the posts lol.
Still any spots available??

totally!

i'll update the tags to indicate that we're full if we ever reach that point. more likely though if it gets to be too much i'll just find a co-gm. for now though got plenty of room, hop in.
no rush fam, perfectly fine with keeping things at a chill pace. i'm not gonna institute and post length requirements or anything like that either, so if y'all just wanna have short posts with back and forth dialogue have at it.

given that once we get going on missions a lot of the writing is probably going to be quick responses and moment to moment actions, it just wouldn't make sense to set some sort of bar. as long as it's legible and all that i'm all good.
posts looking great so far. depending on how things go might get one up myself sometime soon.
danke! it's shorter than i would've liked, but it serves its purpose as is. can't ask for much else lol.
first ic is a go, y'all all good to start posting and stuff. not requiring anyone to get stuff up before the first mission starts, just wanna give an opportunity for those who wanna do introductions/establish a rapport between characters to do so.
