Ophelia took a moment to assess her and Roxas' situation. There were still many demons and odd looking little creatures heading their way, but, they had slain over half of the entire horde of them. She could tell Roxas was in pain and the invisible bond between them kept her tethered to him despite whatever distance she put between them. "I'll help you. Just focus and we can get through this." she smiled softly, while simultaneously bringing her whip down upon an approaching, black skinned demon which stood about the size of a small bear. The silver of her whip touching it's skin created a sound very similar to something being placed on a hot skillet. The scent of it was worse and luckily she held her breath just in time, though the thought still made her stomach churn.

"You take care of the ones on the ground, and I'll deal with everything coming from above. I have long ranged weapons, so it shouldn't be too hard. If we keep our backs together we can take them on easily!" her voice sounded much more confident than she felt inwardly, but it didn't stop her from getting right back into the battle. She almost didn't have time to knock her bow before some airborne demons approached. When her eyes locked on them, she knocked two arrows into her bow at once, and shot them without a second thought, watching them fall to the earth while screeching before taking their last breaths, and turning into a mass of black liquid.

A few more moments of intense attack followed and herself and Roxas fought through each enemy together. Once there were little to no threats left, Ophelia turned her head to the mouth of the cave and realized she could see a green light emanating from the darkness. Jax must had begun doing her incantations, when suddenly Jax's voice screamed out for Morthos.
As the last passenger arrived in the car, Zaara looked at him curiously, though it was no surprise he was a white male. She stuck out like a sore thumb and despite having gotten mostly used to it, her stomach tightened. She breathed a long breath out through her nose and then simply nodded when Alexander introduced himself. He was a well known detective in the area, though she was curiously why that made him special.

After a while of the car speeding through traffic, they arrived at the most expansive manor she had ever seen. It was dark, though lit with candles and the like on the outside. Every detail was perfectly thought out. Zaara remained silent as she took in the architecture. A small smile crossed her lips though something felt strange inside the gates.

After a few moments they were lead inside to a drafting room, and she wandered about for a moment looking at all of the different items. Some of the things looked familiar form her homeland, others not so much. She squinted in the dim light and looked over to Jinx. She had taken her jacket off, though wore a form fitting black dress with long sleeves. She was just as beautiful as she remembered. Though something was very different. Everything about this entire situation was different though, so that wasn’t saying much. Finally Zaara sat down on one of the empty couches, and waited.
Ophelia watched as Jax approached her, and her sisters' words resonated through her body. Despite their differences, Jax and Ophelia were twins and the bond they shared was something that would never be broken. And she knew that Jax told the truth when she said if anything happened, she would follow. Ophelia bit down on her lower lip and hugged Jax tightly before watching her sister head off into the battle, slaying any demon or creature that came near. Likewise though, Ophelia and Roxas headed off into the horde as well.

As she approached the demons, Ophelia let her whip unfurl from her forearm and down into her hand. She couldn't use both her whip and her bow at the same time, but, she was good with both of them, so she hoped she could get to use both in this battle. She wasn't sure though, how long or how far Roxas would let her fight for, given the circumstances. Her left hand went down to her stomach for a moment and she whispered, "Everything will be okay," before letting her right arm snap outward, the silver tip of her whip slicing across a smaller demon's throat. She watched his head slide off in what seemed like slow motion, similar to the cartoons, and onto the bloody ground below.

As she continued to fight her way through, taking some out from the sky, she was trying to keep an eye on her teammates. Her battle uniform was covered in blood and her normally white hair was now dark and dripping. She managed to use her speed and strength against them, but she was growing quickly tired. Before another wave of them came toward her, she stopped for a moment and looked to Roxas, only to be greeted with a yell from him. Her eyes narrowed and she saw his arm hanging limp at his side. She felt angry and wanted to move closer to help him, but became surrounded by a group of imp like demons. Without hesitation she curled her whip against her arm and took out her bow, knocking three arrows. She aimed and fired, the three arrows hitting the targets dead on, pinning the imps to the ground before they exploded into death and blood. She grabbed the arrows and continued on this way until she had managed to make a path toward Roxas. Once she reached him, she hoped he would let her help him fight.
Zaara stepped out onto the sidewalk from inside of her little shop. From the outside, it appeared to look run down and less than loved. But on the inside told a completely different story. It was bright and colourful, soft music playing accompanied by the scent of sweet incense. A small window inlaid in the brickwork was the only thing giving away the secret. As she stepped down onto the rough pavement in her bare feet, the few people passing by gave her unapproving glances. Her long dreads laid against her shoulders and back, and the dress she wore swayed around her calves. She got glances like that more often then not, but still she sighed to herself. She held a small bag which contained her dearest possessions. Her crystal wand, chalk, and a few other things that made her feel close to home. And next to her was a suitcase with her clothing. A car approached and she looked at it for a moment, before turning back around to her shop.

"See you soon, mother..." she said softly, and from the window in the wall, she saw her mum smiling, and waved. She turned back and stared at the vehicle in awe for a few moments. Mr. Birmingham opened up his door and then proceeded to gather the other items she would be taking with her, placing it neatly with the others. He opened up the passenger door and she peered in only to see two people, and a small monkey staring back. She couldn't quite make out the woman's features but she smiled a little and got into the vehicle.

Mr Birmingham stepped out of the car, “Good Morrow, Miss Nyaga. Pleasure to meet the Voodoo Princess of East street. My niece Moira, says your love potion got her, her husband.”

He moved to open the door, bowing to her quickly, “Sorry for the rush, but we are running late. Mr Redmire and Miss Haven are located in the cabbie. They are also on the collection list.”

Jinx bit her lip moving over to poke her veiled head out of the door, “Ummm...Hi Zaara, Darling!...Uh How’s Moeder Nyaga doing?”

If blushing was a possibility she would be doing it ten fold, but her cheeks remained palid blueish white. Jinx thought back of her time in Kenya, performing her show for the people of Kendu Bay. She loved the area, the children giving her beautiful shells and fish. After only a few nights she had the honour of being invited to meet Zaara and her mother in their village. Their tribe was usually fairly closed to the outside world, so only she could enter the village. Edgar had been a bit miffed but understood that she should of course accept. She got along well with the women, opening up about her special gifts and her home. She remembered the warnings the old woman had given her, and her lack of realization of what was to come.

Zaara smiled softed as Mr. Birmingham mentioned a love potion she had given to his niece, Miora. A faint blush spread across her ebony cheeks and she nodded once. Just as she was shifting into the seat, she saw the woman poke her head forward a bit and she spoke. Her voice was familiar, and she realized that Mr. Birmingham had mentioned Haven. This woman knew who Zaara was, and she looked closer only to realize it was Jinx. Her eyes widened and her jaw opened up slightly in surprise. “Jinx…?” Zaara whispered. She didn’t know how to react and leaned in to hug the old friend.

Jinx slammed into the other side of the cabbie as Zaara came forward, fear moving up her spine at being found out but then again she longed to touch another human. Especially her friend. She spoke quietly, “Sorry..habit.”

She leaned in to hug Zaara back, her body cold and slightly thin. She pulled away after a few minutes, her voice warm and slightly emotional, “I’m sorry I haven't kept in touch...when did you decide to move to England?”

Zaara hugged Jinx and she felt cold and strange. When she pulled back she tried to get a look at her face, but couldn’t see clearly through the lace. She lifted one shoulder up into a shrug when Jinx apologized for not keeping in touch.

“Things happen love. I’ve been here for quite some time…” Zaara realized then that it wasn’t just herself and Jinx in her company. She turned a little to get a look at the gentleman. “My name is Zaara… Sorry to have ignored you.”

Jinx gave a brief smile, then lifted her hand to speak for the other guest, “Yes I suppose they do. This is Mr. Redmire. Astound alchemist and gunsmith apparently. Mr Redmire, this is Mrs Nyaga, a dear friend from the past. She harbors from Kenya, beautiful country if you ever have the opportunity to visit there.”

Looking out to where they had stopped, it looked like the shop that he’d heard about, but never had a chance to actually visit. He simply sat and observed. This woman, Mrs. Nyaga, she was unique and quite out of place for England, at least that was one thought, but if she knew of the voodoo arts then, then for this ministry, he could see the use of having her. He took a moment to puff on the pipe as he looked off into the busy street, watching another cabbie pass by. His thoughts wandered until he heard his name said.

Looking back over he pulled the pipe from his mouth and tipped his tophat to Mrs. Nyaga, “Not a problem, from the looks of it, you two are good friends. I wouldn’t wish to interrupt your reunion.” He said smiling at her as, Miss Haven introduced him further to Mrs. Nyaga. “Well it’s pleasant to meet you. Now unfortunately I haven’t been to Kenya though I’ve heard many good things, not to mention at some point when this organization is through with me, or on a vacation of some kind, I hope to visit.” He held the pipe in his mouth once more and puffed on it a few times.

Jinx, pet Esmeralda quietly, listening to Quindaro before chirping in, “HIghly recommended. Wonderful people. Edgar and I couldn't stop raving...about it.”

Her tone turned cold as she looked out the window, “Seems like ages ago!”

Zaara cleared her throat after there was a brief awkward silence from Jinx. “So, do you two know why you were summoned to the Ministry?” She was curious, and would rather listen to others than speak of herself.

“I suppose my ability to translate with the other side is seen as useful to them. Of course I’ve been...on retirement for years so I have no idea why they would want me specifically. Seems like everyone has the true gift nowadays! Madame Dupoff from Fleet street seems to have quite the show I hear.” Jinx responded sulkily, hating her old competition.

Shrugging slightly, he held the pipe as he spoke, “I’m guessing that ever since I stumbled upon a dig site outside my hometown, the ministry kept a record of me. Ever since, I’ve had experiences that are… Unbelievable to the average person... Not to mention my aptitude for mechanical work and Alchemy attracted them as well. Though that’s merely a guess.” He sat back in the seat and thought of the strange creatures he’d encountered ever since his moving to London.

Zaara simply nodded at the answers the two had given her, though refused to let on about her own abilities. She was very guarded, and even though she knew Jinx, it had been a very long time since she had last met with her in person. Many things had changed, and she wasn’t comfortable with giving herself away that quickly. She fell silent after a little while and simply enjoyed the ride to what would be her new ‘home’.
At Emmett's comment, Juniper's little beady eyes squinted. For some reason he seemed to care about whether she got hurt or not. She instinctively wanted to laugh. Emmett didn't know her from the stars. Maybe it was the fact she was so young and innocent. Either way, only mere seconds passed between his comment, and the door opening up from the pod. She could hear Jean's voice through the loudspeaker, shouting not to open the door but it was too late, it was already opened. Emmett took Ursa on his back the best he could, just barely quick enough to escape the barrage of fiery blasts aimed at them. Juniper however was almost not as lucky, some of the flames singeing her grey fur as she jumped out into the darkness of the room.

She skittered into a corner where she thought she would be safe for a moment, watching with wide eyes as the pod went up in flames, holes from the blasts included. At this point she was completely hidden by darkness, and decided to use it to her advantage. She was unsure at this moment if Naefario had seen her, but she could feel he was angry nonetheless. Juniper watched as he turned, aiming his weapon around willy nilly, searching for her. She held her breath, only to release it again when the weapon was no longer aimed in her direction. "Come out, come out lil' mouse... I saw you run away from me..." Naefario's voice rang through the room and it made Juniper feel sick and also angry.

Before she could shift into something more useful though, Naefario began to close the distance from where he stood, and herself. He must have watched her run over there, despite the fact that it was mostly dark in the area. Maybe her eyes gave it away. She watched as Naefario stormed closer to her and without hesitation, she began to shift. Her body began to become more slender and elongated, the fur disappearing only to be replaced by tiny black scales. Her face changed completely with the exception of the beady black eyes. From her mouth whisped a long forked tongue, and before her legs disappeared, she sprinted out mid shift to try and get behind Naefario. Though as big as he was, he was quick. His arm came down and snatched her up by the tail, her paws and legs virtually disappearing at this point into her body. She resembled a good sized Black Mamba.

As Naefario lifted her up to eye level adamant curiosity in his gaze, a wry smile on his bloodied lips. “Yer one o’ em shapeshifters. Mayhap this wann’t a complete disaster n’ waste after all..” Juniper’s body curled up and she shot upward, aiming for his wrist. Her venom laced fangs sunk into the flesh that was available, and she ensured to bite down hard. Before a moment had passed, Juniper pulled back and struck him again in nearly the same spot. He reacted quickly though, and roared, pulling her away and tossing her to the floor against the wall with a loud thud. She winced and hissed out, narrowing her beady black eyes.

“Likkle turd,” the death blaster on Naefario’s arm retracted clicking and whirring until it took the form of a cybernetic hand, blue nerve endings flickering in the pod’s low light. He squeezed his afflicted arm sucking on the bite marks, and spitting out droplets of venom and green blood. “Why is eveyone ‘board this shuttle a goddamn rabid animal, in some cases literally.” The pirate captain chuckled, his guffaws turning into a wheezing cough. “I’ve ne’er met a crew o’ smugglers who fought this hard ‘afore. An’ imagine me, Cap’n Naefario, terror o’ th’ space lanes, dread commander o’ th’ Gorefill beaten by a damn medical robot an’ killed by a lass n’ snakeskin.” A sound behind Naefario caused him to spin about, his hand reforming into the carbon disintegrator, a purple light growing in its interior. It was Emmett and Ursa, the former trapped under the unconscious form of the latter, a mere two meters away. Keeping the deadly weapon centered on the fallen smugglers Naefario turned his gaze back to Juniper, fixing her with his single glaring eye. “I could kill ‘em in a heartbeat ye know. Faster n’ yer venom could bring me down, and once I slay them an’ catch you the hard way, well there’ll be anti venom aboard me ship. So let’s make a deal, make this easy why don’t we.”

“How about you and I bargain? You know what that is little Theonian, to bargain? My girl there isn’t look in a good way, she’ll need help soon before she dies, an’ I don’t want her to die. How about you come back with me aboard this pod, an’ I let them live. No funny business, no tricks. A fair trade.”

Juniper’s snake tongue whisked out again slowly, in thought. Over the course of the next couple moments, she shifted back into her human form. She couldn’t quite respond to him in the form of a snake. She gave herself enough space so that she could shift and then keep some distance from Naefario. Her eyes were bright amber, reflecting her emotion in some ways through the colour. She was scared, but she also knew that she had to fight. This Captain wasn’t going to let up, unfortunately for her. She knew he wouldn’t be the last space cadet she’d ever meet who would fight to the death anyhow, now that she was somewhat wrapped up with Ursa and the other two.

Finally she caught a glimpse of the others behind the Captain and her stomach lurched. Ursa looked terrible. She could die at any moment. But there was also no way in Purgatory she was going with this creep. But, he didn’t have to know that. She chewed on her lower lip softy for a second, then looked up at him.

“You drive a good bargain… I come back with you in the pod… which you nearly destroyed just a few minutes ago… and you let those two live?” She repeated what he said, with some slight attitude, though her voice was strangely foreign. It echoed in a weird way through the room.

The pirate inclined his head looking pleased. “Aye, that’s th’ jist of it. And I swear on me oath as a Cap’n, and me desire to make a lot of kredits that ye will come to no harm under my care. Ships like this bucket O’ bolts are going for a lot these days, but little Theonians, well, yer going for premium prices. My business partner will pay through the nose to have you, unharmed. So we c’n either do this th’ hard way, where yer friends die a rather gruesome death, or th’ easy way, where ye shift back into the harmless mouse, climb onto me hand and fly back to me ship. Easy as ye please. No one’ll die. It’d be th’ noble thing ter do.” Naefario twisted his barbaric face, an odd unnatural light in his eyes.

“Better make yer decision quick.” He warned. “Yer other friend is coming fast, an he’s not gonna bargain, that I c’n guarantee. I’ll be forced to put yer friends here to th’ knife ‘afore I kill him, for insurance sake. So, what will it be little Theonian?” Naefario lowered his hand of flesh to the ground, offering Juniper a large platform on which to ride once she was a shrew once more, his other glowed with a violet light, most likely charging up to kill Ursa and Emmett in a single blast.

“I don’t trust you one bit… But I don’t want them to die because of me.” Juniper watched his eyes and felt sick to her stomach. Her own gaze then shifted from his, to Ursa and Emmett and she breathed out slowly. She shifted back into her shrew form, and climbed up onto Naefario’s extended hand. She feared he would simply curl his fingers up and crush her, but if it really was money he was after, he wouldn’t. She was much more valuable than he could imagine anyhow. She sighed and wanted to close her eyes, but she couldn’t look away from her new friends.

Nodding approvingly Naefario closed his fist around Juniper, trapping her beneath a cage of firm, but gentle fingers. With a cold efficiency he cleared the pod making sure none of the smugglers remained on board before igniting the engines, never once loosening his grip on his valuable prisoner. Juniper could see through the gaps in his fingers as he lifted the pod off the landing deck. Beneath them someone shouted, two plasma bolts ricocheting off the pod’s thick hull. Naefario ignored them, jettisoning the pod through the airlock and out into the oxygenless expanse of space. The two ships drifted nearby, the Ranger and the Gorefill looking like deformed, lifeless planets against the endless black backdrop. Instead of angling towards the smoldering Gorefill Naefario aimed in the opposite direction, activating the hyperdrive engines, and opening up the navigation screens, typing in a long list of encrypted coordinates. As if to answer her unspoken query the pirate pointed at a distant star as space and time folded around them.

“When I take ye there lass, I could buy a fleet O’ those wrecks. Better not ter share me fortunes wit’ them cowards, haharr!”

With these words space closed around them and in less then a heartbeat they were gone.
Processing what had just happened took about ten minutes. Ursa looked at Naefario’s image on her ship with horror, the shock apparent on her face. Her yellow eyes glazed over Takashi laying on the floor and Jean in Naefarios grip. She looked at the crew around her and Taylor who lay broken on the hologram in front of her. It was all too much..too wrong. So she shut her eyes. It took ten minutes to process the situation. It took less then five for her to figure out how to break it down to dust. Plus a millisecond put aside for song choice of course.

Ursa brought her hazel yellow eyes up to look at Naefario after Juniper had pushed her towards the hologram, her voice was weak, her expression hurt and angry as she tried to spit out a plea for mercy, “Alright.. you win. You have my ship and my crew just let them go and I will not put up a fight. I promise...Just don't hurt them. I..”

Suddenly she jumped up and slammed her elbow into Juniper’s gut, signifying her to react with violence.

Juniper watched the scene before them with a completely neutral expression. Inwardly she was hating every second of the others being hurt and manipulated. A sudden blow to her stomach took her breath away though, and brought her focus back to the situation at hand. Out of human instinct, she shot a glare down at Ursa who had hit her, and she knew this was her cue. She brought both hands forward, Ursa’s arm still in one, and ripped Mac’s arm out of her hands. She tossed it to the side and then grabbed at Ursa’s shoulders, quite literally lifting her off the ground and shoving her with decent force toward the right of the room.

Ursa tried to brace herself as she hit the panel with a hard thump. She hit the ground seconds later, her breath escaping her as she lifted her palm slyly to the left inserting a ghost chip in the panel as she lifted her body up off the ground. She spit out some blood, putting up her fists, “That the best you got Dick..faces!!!!”

Suddenly she slumped to her knees hacking up some more blood before she felt hands on her arm lifting her up to a sitting position on a chair to the left of her. She wiped her mouth, trying to calm down when Juniper came to grab her arm again and bring her towards the hologram. Ursa fought her weakly before she looked up at the screen, “You know Naefario...at times like this I always think to the beginning. When I was a young scrub who made her first million stealing some Kroton Units from Alagrath.”

Her yellow eyes turned to the screen with slight indignation, “I used my money for two things Naefario. The first was to put any advancement I could find to put onto that ship...ULTRA SIX FIVE FIVE TWO!”

Suddenly behind Naefario thick metal sheets covered the rangers doors and control panels, throughout the Ranger. Suddenly Dill shot up through the coms, “Ship controls under lock Cap. I can’t even open the doors without your voice recognition.”

Ursa suddenly felt a whole hell of a lot of guns turn her way. She remained calm her eyes still locked on Naefario and Jean, “Whatever was left of my money I spent on the greatest sound system you have ever heard….AND PIZZA!!!!!”

Suddenly Dill spoke softly, “Ready Cap.”

She turned to look up at Juniper then back to Naefario, “TRACK 7990 MOTHERFUCKER!”

Suddenly Queen’s ‘Don’t Stop Me Know’ bursted furiously into both ships speakers as Mac slammed into the room with a big rucksack that Ursa brought with her earlier on the ship. Ursa stood up pulling out one of her hidden knives and threw it straight into the hacker’s head just as he was running to the control panel before she turned lunging at Juniper slamming her to the ground as Mac pulled out a large overpowered looking gun letting forth a range of small green canisters that bursted into clouds of green smoke. While at the same time Dill wreaked havoc on the Gorefill, overriding the guns, control room and various robotic style machines that littered the ship.

After Juniper lifted Ursa up onto the chair, things moved rather quickly. She brought Ursa closer to the hologram as commanded and remained silent most of the time. She listened to Ursa speak to Naefario, who Juniper felt was the most vulgar being she had come in contact with so far. She listened to her speak about the things she used all her money for, and felt very confused at the pizza comment. Ursa did seem to love pizza, but this was all besides the point. This bastard needed to die. And in a few moments, she knew Mac would be coming into the room. She almost wanted to hold her breath, but figured that wouldn’t be helpful.

Ursa then announced a song title and at that moment a song burst through the speakers. Juniper almost wanted to laugh at the lyrics, but kept quiet. Though in that moment, Ursa slammed her to the ground and suddenly the room filled with green smoke. She squinted and looked at Ursa carefully. She whispered as close as she could to her, “You okay?”

Ursa lay on the ground as the room turned into mayhem, the world fading into black as she heard some words to the left of her. She turned to look at Juniper, “I don’t think so…”

She lifted up her hand to her new friend? showing her, the last adrenaline needle, “God I hope this shit doesn’t kill me…Now get to the door. I will cover you!”

She flipped off the cap and slammed it into her neck, her pupils dilating as she jumped up and screamed at the top of her lungs grabbing up a chair and slamming it into a pirate next to her. She ran forward, hoping Juniper was following her as she picked up a maul and flipped it over to slam it into the head of another pirate before she hightailed it to Mac who threw her a gun, “WHERE IS MY ARM!?!?!”

She stopped, turning around to look through the smoke before her eyes rested on the arm underneath the ass of a bird like alien who was hitting anything that came near him. She turned to Juniper, “Go to Mac! I will be there in a second.”

She turned towards the arm and ran forward jumping up onto a panel, where she slipped falling face forward into a pirate who was crushed by the weight of Ursa’s perky bossoms. She sat up, looking down at the pirate who just gave her a genuine look of pervy wonder. She gave an awkward smile then stood up, slamming her boot straight into his tent, just as she let out three shots into the heads of some pirates heading her way. She pulled out one her knives as she kept running, throwing her body forward sliding through the blood and grease that coated the dirty floor through a pirates legs right up to the pirate who was sitting on Mac’s arm. She slammed her knife into his neck, leaving the weapon as she pushed him over so that she could grab the arm. Once the arm was in her possession she felt hands grab at her shoulders. She turned around, gripping Mac’s wrist to slam the arm into her attackers head, before she shot out two more bullets into the pirate and another attacking her to her left. Suddenly she felt a kick to the back and she propelled forward into the ground. She rolled out of the way just as a knife came down to slam into the place she once was. She twisted her body around to kick her attacker in the face before she was on her feet again. She saw Mac in the distance and lobbed the arm forward, just as a pirate suckerpunched her in the face.

She hit the ground hard, wondering where all the stars came from before suddenly she felt hands at her ankles. She kicked forward knocking the pirate away from her when suddenly she realized it was Juniper. She gave the girl a weary smile.

Just as Juniper was told, she quickly made her way over to Mac who was waiting by the door. She tried to look back to see if Ursa would get his arm, but everything was still fairly smokey, so she could only go off of the noise around her. From what it sounded like though, Ursa was doing fine. Within a few moments, she was headed back toward them and Juniper could make her out, but before she reached them a pirate punched her square in the face. Ursa went down and then Juniper called out, “Shoot!!!” She lurched forward and grabbed Ursa’s ankles, and before she could look again, herself and Mac made their way back out of the room and headed straight for the cargo bay.

She felt Ursa try to kick at her, but she must have realized it wasn’t an enemy, and gave a smile instead. “It’ll be okay! We will be there soon…” Juniper said. She wasn’t sure she’d be able to drag Ursa in her human form, so remained in the form of the pirate.

Ursa let out shot after shot of the lone pirates who came hauling after them as they skittered through the hallway. She let her other leg drag below her as she let out a large boisterous laugh, “Oh a smuggler’s life for me!!!!” She spoke into the coms with her usual smarmy voice, “You better be ready fish boy because when I get to you, I am going to make you into a BUG FACED TUNA MELT!!!!”

“Even tuna would taste better if I’m honest…” Juniper said. She began to laugh and looked back for a second at Ursa who was laughing as well. They turned a corner then and went down a few more hallways, finally making it to the cargo hold. It was still frozen, if not more so than it was when they left. Immediately Juniper began to hold back some trembling, and she let go of Ursa’s ankle, reaching down to take her by the hand instead and help her up. Once she had her upright, she steadied her weight for her and turned her attention to the others. She saw Kira, Damian and Emmett standing there with sacks.

Juniper’s eyes came to rest on Emmett, and she spoke up again. “Alright, now the real question is. How do we get out?”
Ophelia listened as Morthos spoke about his mother and what he was wanting them to do. He needed them to help out a lot for this mission, and they needed to do their best since this was his mum they were talking about. She wasn't too sure how well she would be able to help in this situation. Jax was the one who knew everything about demons and what not. She felt less confident than she wished she did, which wouldn't help her much. Morthos suggested they meet in the front hall, so when he got up and disappeared quickly, Ophelia looked at Jax and Roxas and sighed a little.

"I guess we better head out... Is everyone ready?"

She waited for their responses, and then stood up from the table slowly. Her energy was extremely low. There was no way she'd be able to fight like this... She supposed she needed to take Roxas up on his offer. She sighed out again, not wanting to waste time. Once Jax was up ahead of them, she pulled Roxas aside and looked up at him. She waited for him to say it was alright, and then would catch up to Jax and Morthos in a couple of minutes.
Juniper clung onto the back of Ursa's helmet as she moved and crouched around. Her claws held her in place, and she breathed quietly the false oxygen from the mask. She wanted to help but knew she didn't have her own helmet to help her breathe in case of some emergency. She looked out of the mask at the pirates that were coming their way, and she could suddenly hear Jean speak through the com. He made his plan to help destroy some of the pirates clear, and told them to stay back while he did so.

Shortly after announcing his plan, Juniper watched as a blast was fired inside of the ship, almost quite literally disintegrating the pirates in its way. After that explosion, another explosion happened from a grenade that had been triggered just prior. Purple flames engulfed the area, killing off a few more of their foes. Though only to be immediately followed by three more blasts. Though this time, the pressure released from the area. Juniper's eyes widened, staring as bodies were lifted and sucked toward the holes, blocking them for the moment. But as she squinted, she could see the ice creeping steadily along the walls and people around.

"We need to keep going! It's not safe to stay here or we'll all freeze..." Juniper thought, and tried to speak her mind, though the sound came out as frantic squeaking next to Ursa's ear. In that moment also, she realized that Emmett had also spoken to her before the attack. He had mentioned he thought this mission was too dangerous for her, and she narrowed her eyes stubbornly.

Jean's voice broke through her stubborn glare, and he asked Ursa how many he had gotten rid of for them. As Juniper waited for Ursa's response, she looked out the mask again frantically. She was no use being in here. Not like she would be much use out there either, but maybe another set of hands would be better than a set of tiny paws. In that moment Juniper took a deep breath and crawled down out of Ursa's helmet mask, holding her breath while she jumped to the floor. The air was ice cold, and she shivered hard in response, though her fur would normally have kept her fairly warm. She immediately began to shift into her human form, and all the while holding the now stale air in her lungs. She would die for sure if she didn't find a mask of some kind with oxygen to help her breathe. Panic began to show on her face as she looked around at the dead bodies for something that might be of use, or even some sort of equipment on the wall she could use.

Finally her eyes came to rest on one of the poor pirate creatures who seemed to need to use a helmet to breathe, and Juniper scrambled over to her. The floor was beginning to get slippery due to the ice and her fingers were cold as ice crept up around the tips. With shaky hands, she tugged a few times on the helmet until it came off. There was blood splattered on the outside eyepiece and she wanted to frown but had no time to even care. She stuck the helmet on over her head and hoped and prayed it would work. She felt around on the outside for something that would tighten and secure the helmet, and activate the oxygen. When she did she clicked it and without even waiting to know for sure if it would work, she opened her mouth and dragged in a huge lungful of air.

Immediately Juniper was relieved and she took a few more deep breaths, then paced her breathing. She wasn't sure how this helmet fully worked. It was possible that it filtered the air, or lack of inside the helmet and rotated it through, since she couldn't see anything that held oxygen. She had no idea nonetheless, and realized she didn't have her own com. It would be difficult to communicate without one, but she looked over at Mac, who tossed her a little black earpiece. She quickly put it on and replaced the helmet, and gave a thumbs up to thank him.

"Anyway, as I was trying to say earlier Ursa... We have to keep going or we're all going to freeze!"

There were still some pirates waiting there, but at this point, most if not all of them looked discouraged.
