The Demon Lord

Soon, even practicing minor spells was boring Aniel and she wandered over to look out of the window. If she was receiving a roommate they had yet to appear. The outside grounds of the school were quite large and well kept, Aniel noted mentally. This place was a very charming example of the ability of humans to create places that felt safe. It was a very unusual concept to Aniel, even after being banished to this realm nine months ago. It was a vast improvement, however, and Aniel was loath to leave it one day. Turning from the window and her musings, Aniel wandered back to the main hallway, looking up and down to see if she spotted anyone to speak with. School was about making friends, and Aniel really wanted to know what a friend was like. The few human fiction books she had read since arriving featured very strong bonds of friendship between all of the characters, and Aniel was excited at the idea. Hopefully soon would be when she needed to go to the dining hall for some sort of banquet, as she was sure plenty of her fellow students would be congregated there.

Both, probably. I hoard all the candy in hell for myself, which is a great torture technique on the lesser demons, as they will never know the sweet taste of a strawberry lollipop or the soft melty texture of a chocolate bar again.

@Cherrywitch Yoki smiled, then narrowed her eyes at the Imp in front of her. "You think I was born yesterday? I am Yoki, Daughter of Great Wolf! I have made deals with far more cunning beings than you, and I will not just hand over my treasure to a stranger creature no matter his knowledge on curious things. However, if you show me to this Zzuby, I shall purchase us both some of your beloved ice cream." Once Yoki was done speaking, she re pocketed the objects into the folds of her cloak, yet there did not seem to be any where to store or hide anything in the fabric. Such was the way of a mysterious deity. And almost as an after thought, she added "And I will pay you for your information as well." No reason for Yoki to be unthankful, since this imp was teaching her new things.

@Lunarlors34 Okay, so like I said I am Christian which means you know well....I was forced to watch veggietales in my youth. So obviously ol' veggietales ain't gonna be spouting out fact about prostitutes and their patron saints BUT there was one about St. Nicholas. he helped out a poor man with his three daughters dowries so they would not have to be prostitutes. He sneakily gifted money in the night in three purses filled with gold through a window in the mans house. There are a lot of stories around this event, since you know history gets garbled up the farther along it goes from the event, but I digress. He was just a dude wanting to lend a hand and had the ability to do so. His selfless gift giving and the fact he did it undercover of darkness is why they kind of rolled with the Saint Nick idea for good ol' santa. Anyway I'm done with this random religious talk in this RP's OC, sorry for this. You ask and I end up spouting out annoying information. I am extremely interested in religions, not just my own.

Yea, mostly Christmas is based on the gift giving of the Magi at its basis, and the Christians kinda formed it around Jesus' birthday, but really the Magi did not get to Jesus until He was like two or something, and His birthday is not actually known but suspected to be between February and April. I think the Catholics were trying to cover up a pagan holiday around the same time, so they slapped a Happy Birthday on the date and rolled with it. I can't remember the details of why they chose that date, but since I am Christian I can confirm the religious side of the celebration.

@Cherrywitch Yoki grinned at the antics of the imp. Plus she was glad to have gained some knowledge of things she had never heard of. "Then we shall get this creamy ice!" Yoki declared, reaching into her cloak to pull out a few small silver orbs, and a rather large pearl. "Will this amount be enough to get us some?" Yoki asked Kric, biting her bottom lip worriedly. She wasn't sure if this place would take her payment, since it was so different than her own world. What she held in her hand would surely buy her at least 5 human huts filled with cream, if she had wanted that when she was alive. However, this ice cream seemed very spectacular, if Kric's reaction was anything for the wolf girl to go by.

Upon reaching her new room for the year, Aniel unlocked the door with her key marked #074, and stepped inside. It seemed like it was quite a nice size, and Aniel was happy to see some clothing provided for her. Her small duffel bag rested upon what she guessed was her bed, next to a letter she quickly read. Aniel then turned to her only other belonging, a large case filled with books. Some were spell books, some were ancient tomes written in dead languages, and a few were novels she had picked up since her arrival in this realm. She unpacked all of these books on the bookcase provided and placed her hands on her hips, satisfied. Grinning, she flung herself atop the soft comforter of the bed and sighed happily.
"If only brother could be here to enjoy this place as well!" Aniel mused aloud, staring at the ceiling. Idly waving her fingers above her face, she created patterns in the air, practicing a few spells she knew. Swirling lights appeared in the wake of her fingers, different spell seals glowing in the air before Aniel wiped them all away with her open palm. After a few minutes of silence, Aniel huffed and sat up, frowning as she glanced at the other side of the room. She wondered if she were to be receiving a roommate, and hoped if she was that they were pleasant to be around.

@Cherrywitch Yoki cocked her head to the side, staring intensely at the imp. In a very serious voice she asked, "What is ice cream?" Perhaps it was something the dead dined on? In fact, what did the dead eat? Yoki wondered silently if she would have to change her diet from human sacrifices to something completely different, which upset her quite a bit. She loved human sacrifices! "Ice is something I can make, it is a form of water. But cream...that is something that comes from the human's livestock, correct? Why would you eat ice?"
