Some Thoughts 18+ MxF

@Karos first I must say, I'm interested in most of your ideas! I do have certain limits in my own Writing however that may make the RP worse than it could be, so here are the ones I would be able to do, and the reasoning behind maybe not so much the others ^^…

All the "Fantasy" except "the Hunted". Sci-fi, I'm not all that familiar with, so even though I'm interested those would have to be some you are willing to work on and deal with more mistakes with me. The History ones all sound awesome, I just don't think I could bring much to the scenarios you mentioned. Both of the post- apocalyptic ones I may need a little more info on before I make a decision. The steam punk one is pretty vague, but it sounds cool, and I haven't had the pleasure of trying out one yet.

So there's that! Lol I write better in RP than I do outside of it, promise! ^^

I'm up to try pretty much anything, and you sound about the same as me in regards to what you prefer (except I prefer to play females obviously lol) and for pretty well the same reasons. Let's B!tch. I feel it's a healthy release for our roleplay annoyances 2.0

It bothers me when someone takes something personally IRL that happened in RP. Or the RP fizzles out because they dont like something. Especially if it was collaboration. If you didn't like the idea you should have said so. Don't take it personal and don't get mad at me (especially when you were the one who just went along with it, regardless of the chance to disagree)

This has happened to me a lot and it bugs me. If it's agreed upon, I don't see why people get so IRL upset. And then they end up having some kind of grudge against you so it makes things awkward and difficult. Particularly if you are trying to avoid them after but then want to join something they are in lol.

Side note: it also bugs me how cruel "long time" RPrs or even members to the site they are on can be. Yes, I understand you have paid your dues and are now "experts" at how things worked, but everyone started off not a RPr before they became one. So I don't understand the animosity. Sure, it gets tiring when you have to deal with the same problems (like more than one kid in kindergarten is going to act out or have accidents) but none of us can "improve" if we don't have that someone to teach us (or at least an opportunity to practice). Its like the last generation saying how messed up this one is, when they were the ones we modeled after. That said, new RPrs need to not be so touchy about criticism (though, I think a lot of the touchiness can come from how the criticism was delivered... buuut that's a whole other rant lol)

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying every long stander needs to help newbies (and that every newbie or ORP has any specific level of Writing), and there are a lot of factors that can play into it all, but the ones who are mean about it are the ones who bother me most. - this also semi-goes along with the whole animosity towards new RPrs in an actual RP. If it's been going on a while, and you are all comfortable with how things are rolling, then close the RP. Not here per say, but on other sites, I have been welcomed into a RP by a few people, but then some of the others don't like the change that inevitably happens with new characters, so I end up leaving due to something or other because they didn't voice their opinions, and that in itself can lead to the atmosphere sucking when they are just stewing behind their screen secretly holding a vendetta lol (also fits with the "if you don't like something just say so, and nothing is ever personal IRL" part)

Phew... I just wanna say, there are obviously a few factors involved to create the situations I mentioned, but I have been in them enough in other places that I just thought I'd "bitch" about it and get it out before I really even started anything ^^ (cause that always makes a good first impression =^ω^= haha)

♠Weather manipulation

♤Can create rain/lightning/tornadoes (Minor)

♠Water manipulation

♤Allows her to create hurricanes/floods/tsunamis when combined with weather manipulation (Major)

★ Other forms of manipulation depend on how “Natural” the water is (I.E. she could do more with a raindrop or sea water than she could with something that’s been stored/collected/created.)
★ She can not create water from nothing (though she can use the atmosphere/water in the air to form clouds, and pull water from the ground – but it pretty well has to already be there).

♠Emotional Manipulation

♤If she has direct eye contact (or someone is looking into her eyes – despite if she is looking directly back at them or not) with an individual (or other beings able to feel) she can manipulate their emotions.
♤However, she is limited in that she can only inflict the current state of her own emotions onto the victim/assailant (i.e. if she is calm, they will begin to feel calm; if she feels fear, they will be afraid; but if she is angry… well, you get the idea).
♤The strength of what they feel will depend upon her level of eye contact.

Skills:
Aside from bouts of luck, Keeva is skilled at getting herself out of troublesome situations.

Quick to learn various things.

Manipulating water

Personality:
Keeva is a sheltered girl with big dreams. She is adventurous, though frightens easily (an unfortunate side-effect of her past – likely linked to some level of PTSD). However, she has an incredible sense of resolve – which allows her to overcome the fear (depending on the situation) though, her “go-get-'em” attitude has found her trouble on many occasions (both in her community and on adventures)

Biography:
Keeva was born of a race of Magi in a secluded community in the mountains. Every child born to this place gained their full magical ability (whatever it may be) by the age of nine, and every person of the “clan” is judged by said ability.

For a decade, Keeva hid her power. She knew full well – even at that young age – the kind of tasks she would be forced to carry out had she let them come to light. So… Keeva lived a life of ridicule – and for more reasons than just the one*.

Keeva's Night

The colors in her eyes became slowly swirling vortexes – depthless as the sea, endless as the sky… and then the storm hit. Clouds rolled in, splitting open in a torrent of rain as the darkened sky cast a shadow across the land. The oncoming fleet of ships were all but wiped out as wave after wave crashed down upon them. Thunder clapped as a bright flash of lightning took out an enemy mage, causing the others to break rank long enough for her clan to counter. Eyes returned to normal, Keeva watched from the cover of the trees as the clan attacked. Sure she was no longer needed, she made her way down the mountain, picking a few Moon flowers on her way home.

“Where in Faelian’s name have you been!?”
Keeva was assaulted by pain the moment she walked through the door. She dropped the flowers as she reflexively shut her eyes and covered her ears. “I was picking flowers! I swear!” she cried out through the pain.
Her mother ignored her, continuing the assault. “You look at me, worthless brat!”
Unfortunately for Keeva, her mother’s power was one which could cause anyone (she has direct eye contact with) pain – the severity of which depends on the volume and tone of her voice. Because of this, Keeva had become accustomed to shutting her eyes when her mother was angry with her (which was often).
Her mother grabbed her tightly by the upper arm and forced her into the kitchen. Keeva knew what was coming next, but she’d had enough and wrenched her arm away. Her mother spun around, wide-eyed with surprise, and Keeva had her. As soon as her eyes locked on her mother’s, she allowed herself to feel everything. Every moment fear and pain. Every moment of insecurity and doubt. All of it, she re-lived, all so her mother would finally know, finally experience everything Keeva had been put through. As if unable to look away, her mother stared at her; anguish, horror, and pain etched on her face as she dropped to her knees. After a moment, Keeva’s mother let out a shriek that would echo through her nightmares.

That was the night she revealed her power to anyone. That was the night she’d saved the home that would never be “home” again. That was the night she lost her mother…

Other:
*In the History of the Magi clan, there have only been three cases of heterochromia. One was the case of Faelian the Founder – a powerful and terrible mage who established the clan (and it’s pureblood, power-hungry ideals). The other was Dhegin, the Deserter. Born 30 years after Faelian’s death, he -in a similar fashion to Keeva – never “acquired” his power. Rather than face a life with the ruthless Magi, he fled to parts unknown, earning the title of “deserter” (a title which Keeva may now hold) and the last - of course - is Keeva herself.*

I halfway agree lol but it's not really her fault. I mean she was sheltered, really sheltered, and then she is a dummy and goes looking for a monster tavern of legend with minimal weapons and skill in combat (and the unfortunate disposition to, at times, freeze up - mainly from habit/reflex from home)

Most talking to I would give her is to not act so rashly lol "become a ninja, that way, ya won't have to guess if something is a threat or not - but can do it from a safe way!" Hahaha

I just may do that. Honestly, I've never been great at theme songs, but I did have One that I think suits her lol
