Roxanne Louise Clemente Physical TraitsRoxy stands at a meager 5”3, with short brown hair and somewhat tanned skin. Her eyes are hazel, and she often wears practical, “tomboyish” clothing.
AcademicsRoxy tends to be a slightly above average student. When it comes to subjects she’s passionate about, such as biology, she is more willing to put in the effort, and as a result excels in those subjects. However, she struggles with classes she doesn’t enjoy, such as math or history due to her unwillingness to work hard.

CostumeRoxy wears a bright red vest, along with tight black shorts. Both are made from a special material designed to stretch to accommodate Roxy's transformations. Her vest has small holes in the back that allow her to give herself wings. Both her vest and her shorts are bulletproof, protecting her vital organs.
Mutation•”Limited Shapeshifting” -- Roxy can transform parts of her body into those of animals. For instance, she can give herself a panther’s claws or a wolf’s fangs. She is capable of giving herself multiple alterations at once, to a limited extent. Roxy can transform her body from one animal to another, and she retains her full human mentality even while transformed.
•Heightened Senses -- When she gives herself certain transformations, Roxy has heightened senses. For example, if Roxy gave herself a wolf’s nose, her sense of smell would be heightened. This extends to other body parts, such as her eyes and ears.
•Increased Physical Ability -- When Roxy gives herself certain transformations, her physical capabilities extend beyond that of a normal human’s. Giving herself panther claws allow her to climb trees easily, for example. Her transformations can also increase her speed or physical strength.
•Venom -- Roxy’s stonefish transformation-which she mostly uses on her hands-gives her the same venomous spines as a stonefish. However, being one of the most venomous fish in the ocean, she rarely uses her stonefish transformation due to the excruciating pain and lethality of the venom.
•Flight -- When Roxy gives herself wings, she is capable of flight. While this tires her after several hours, she is capable of matching the speeds of common birds of prey.
•DNA Absorption -- Roxy gains the ability to transform into different animals by absorbing their DNA through her hands. While this takes some time to do, once completed, she gives herself the full capabilities of the animal she has copied.
Weaknesses•Time Limit -- Roxy cannot maintain her transformations forever. Depending on how many transformations she has given herself, she can only maintain them for several hours to a couple of days before completely exhausting herself. The longer she holds her transformations, the more she tires herself out.
•Partial Body Transformations -- Roxy cannot completely change her body. She can only transform certain parts of her body at any given time, while other parts cannot be transformed at all.
•Animal Transformations -- Roxy cannot take on the characteristics of humans or other mutants. She also cannot transform herself into nonliving things; for instance, she could not give herself metal arms. Her transformations are limited to animals.
Prior to Joining the School2000: Born to wildlife biologists Clark and Anita Clemente
2009: Begins helping her parents in their lab with basic tasks, learning from them
2012: Accidentally comes into contact with black panther DNA, unknowingly absorbing it into her body
2012: Discovers her mutation when she wakes up from a nightmare with claws
2014: Begins experimenting with different DNA samples from her parents’ lab, absorbing the DNA of a wolf, a hawk, a cheetah, a polar bear, and a stonefish.
2015: Roxy reveals her mutation to her parents, who promptly sent her to Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters
Post PowersAfter joining Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters, Roxy began to refine her abilities. She gained more control over them, and learned to transform faster. She also learned how to fly using the wings she’d given herself. While she was initially hesitant to learn how to fight, she became proficient in hand-to-hand combat, using her abilities to give her physical advantages over her opponents. In an attempt to learn more about her abilities-and about mutants as a whole-Roxy doubled down on her studies in biology.
