@Hitman Right. Well. Let's see what happens then. Seems like an interesting RP and I would hate to miss out but I understand overcrowding can be an issue.
And here is my weapon gal. Gonna finish the aesthetic part after I post, so I can start searching for a partner.
Name Arlette Sylvestre
Nickname/Alias Arle
Age 15
Gender Female
Race Demon Weapon
Appearance Taller than the average, standing at 1.71m, Arlette has a slender frame, slim enough to look agile but wide enough to not look lanky. Her eyes have a colour close to bright copper and her, often messy, wavy brown hair goes down just past her shoulder. She has noticeably sharp teeth, with fangs.
For clothing, she says she doesn't care much, and while it's true that she doesn't seem to have an interest in fashion or looking tidy she clearly seems to favour a certain style, usually going for boots, loose white clothing with jackets or vests of contrasting darker colours.
Her demeanour is typically confident, she rarely looks uncomfortable with herself unless she is stuck inside a room for too long. She has an intense stare, even when her facial expression is relaxed, though more often than not she looks a bit smug or annoyed.
Personality It is said Arlette was raised by wolves, the veracity of that is questionable as she is known to tell tall stories, though from her behaviour you would suspect that might as well be the case.
Simply put, she does what she wants and has the social conventions at the bottom of her priorities, add that to a tendency to say what is in her mind plus a love for teasing and tricking others and you end up with a well-known trouble maker, albeit a cheerful, friendly one, who doesn't see the harm in her taunting and lack of a sense of personal space. In fact, once one crosses her, which is hard to do, all the playfulness stops and she starts to address such people fewer, colder words. It takes a long time to regain her trust once you break it.
She is pretty active, often preferring the outdoors and the touchable practical, and quite brave, even liking to fight in fact, sometimes even bitting more than she can chew. While she has a natural practical 'cleverness' to her, not many would describe her as smart or knowledgeable and she certainly doesn't have grand views on society and the world, just wishing to not be bothered by either, she likes the simple things like eating, fighting and sleeping.
While struggling with teamwork, often because she wants to do things her way, she is also quite protective and loyal, sometimes even described as a 'big sister type', ready to take as many hits as necessary so her allies are safe and often actively making sure they are not going too far or putting themselves in harm's way, which is ironic, considering she is prone to both.
Likes Food Movies Sparring Food Gardens Sunsets Rainy Days Food
Dislikes Clear summer days Orders Control Freaks Homework
Fears Having to get an actual job Seeing someone she cares about harmed
Partner Name To be decided.
Weapon Form Double Bladed Scimitar
Weapon Form Description
She takes the form of something close to a bladed staff or a two-bladed sword, with the blade itself being branched. Design-wise it resembles what some would call "a tribal tattoo". The use of two blades sacrifices the finishing power of a single blade weapon but offers protection and the potential to keep up the pressure on opponents with sudden and constant slashes.
Miscellaneous Abilities/Skills She has good wilderness survival skills and a great sense of direction.
Soul Resonance tbd
Extra May add gratuitous french to her sentences, sometimes. Is actually a great chef, she doesn't know why or how, but she is.
I added the necessary bit to my CS too. Sorry for taking so long, I did notice the issue on the day you pointed it out (shouldn't have skipped over bits of the opening post, sorry) but I was just entering a week with too many tests and the like. Also changed Vilkas' load up as you suggested.
@PaulHaynek Oops, sorry, my bad. I did read it all but I paced out near the end, I will fix it later! And hmm. If that is the case then I will see what could be a good fourth equipment, I did't think of much since I had a clear idea in mind.
Vilkas has a very robotic body, lean and tall in structure, made of a black coloured alloy with white details. Her joints are different from the typical humanoid style to maximize mobility. The most human part of her is her face, which is mostly human minus the antenna.
Name: STP3-CHMR Beta IV "VILKAS"
Combat Role: Close Combat - Light
Data Center: Dostrex - North
Equipment & Gear:
♦ Flight Gear - HTI GEAR delta VII Located in her legs, it uses magnetism and turbines to provide a levitation likeability to Vilkas. + SKL GEAR delta III Located in her wrists, these are auxiliary combustion booster facing, typically used to either gain speed in tandem with the use of HTI or to perform quick combat maneuvers.
♦ Armour - Light Alloy Plating Vilka's body is made of a light alloy that focuses as much on resistance as it does on flexibility. While a bludgeoning hit might break a robot to pieces, Vilkas' body is made so it will resist such impacts by dispersing the stress on the metal. The counter-side to this is the vulnerability to bladed weapons and less defence against heat/laser based weapons.
♦ Weapon - LNC "LAELAPS" I A spearhead weapon using the principles of ultra-resonance, using ultrasonic vibration and searing heat to brandish extreme cutting abilities. It is connected to her body by a flexible tail capable of both powering and manoeuvring it with precision.
♦ Weapon - INU-GM BLADE XV Located at the tip of her feet, this is another bladed weapon, unlike the lance, it is powered by micro-lasers refracting off a crystal core, as to generate less impact when used, as it is directly attached to Vilkas' body.
Personality:
In casual conversation, Vilkas comes off as someone with a contained personality, not exactly shy, but instead very soft-spoken and polite, typically only speaking if she feels it is necessary and avoiding showing too much emotion. However, when in battle, she is a much more focused person, not smiling berserk like some other warriors, but showcasing a level of coldness and rage that can be impressive when compared to her typical collected demeanour.
Due to her background, Vilkas has a very soldier-like mindset. She judges herself by her usefulness to others and will rarely confront others unless she is comfortable with them, or extremely angered by their actions. She is not one to have ambitions or plans and often feels herself alienated from most 'commonplace' actions, thinking herself unfit to have things such as hobbies or general human behaviours.
Background:
Not everyone agrees with the order, that is no secret. A particular scientist believed that the order was too soft, she believed robot emancipation just led to softness, and it would be the creation of increasingly more powerful and mindless robots would lead to victory, she nicknamed that end-project Fenrir, a beast capable of swallowing even gods. Of course, it would take a long time to reach such ideal robots, she had to start small, and one of these small projects, a side project, in fact, was VILKAS. A failed project that didn't meet expectations, but was still functional enough for her to keep around, as a sort of 'maid' to her secret lab, often being berated or outright hurt by her 'master'
As Dostrex became more crowded, it was only a matter of time before the order tracked down the scientist and her unethical practices, with no hope of combat victory, she opted to escape, but not before activating the self-destruction of the base and her 'projects', by luck her own device didn't act up, and upon the capture of the base, VILKAS was taken into the custody of the order, where she was reformed and repurposed as one of the robots fighting the swarm
The battlefield stretched in front of Vilkas, multiple targets moving towards her group, in her mind, the warrior mapped the field, analyzing the behavior of each enemy.
"Field map and enemy positions are now being sent over," she told in a cold tone to her squad leader, continuing to overlook the field until her sensors picked a noise. "Enemy detected, switching from data collection to engagement," she added before jumping away from where she was, as two of the brutish enemies pounced her.
With her flexible boosters, she was able to evade enemies, her weapons heating up and preparing for the melee when... it all vanished, the combat simulation over.
"No, no, no Vil. We have already made this clear, you should not engage enemies alone like this." a voice suddenly said, unplugging a cable from the robot's neck. "You need to follow the orders given."
The robot looked up for a moment, though she lacked hormones as she was not biological, one could easily be fooled to think she was in an adrenaline rush. "R...Right. I am sorry, commander, I was just... foolish." the head of battle sometimes made her too aggressive in her thinking, that was a known issue. "May we run another simulation? I am sure my results will be up to the desired level this time..."
"No. You have been doing this for hours, it is time for you to take a break, there are surely other things you want to do, right?"
"Other... things?" she questioned in a low voice, she didn't understand why leisure breaks were nescessary, after all, she couldn't think of a single thing she wanted to do. She was just a combat robot after all...
Name: Chatel Gevaudan Age: 16 Race: Beast-kin (wolf/chimera) Gender: Female Appearance: She is a short thin girl, brown hair with wolf ears and a wolf tail. She wears a coat that only makes her look more scrawny, and has a default facial expression that looks like that of a cornered animal. Talent: With her enhanced senses, she is naturally attracted to spells that bring them ever further, going along with shapeshifting or body attached spells to give her the agility to make use of her senses.
History: Unlike most beast-kin, she was not born one, instead, she was born a human. Her family was large and very demanding, Chatel would spend most of her time working for the house, always in fear of abuse if she failed. Somehow things would become worse than being stuck in prison-like room and forced to work all days, when the family could not make ends meet and agreed to sell Chatel to a mage in exchane of money. The mage wanted nothing but test subjects to try to recreate the spells that made beast-kin in the first place.
To most subjects it didn't work, but Chatel was the lucky one who was a 'success'. It didn't stop the experiments from being run, her body still being used for tests so the mage could get better results on other people. Eventually, though, the mage was discovered and fell in a fight, however, the people who took down the mage had no interest in helping the subjects, instead just wanting to 'terminate' them. Chatel was a lucky one who escaped, but she was no longer accepted in the human world, forced to live in the shadows and off scraps until she managed to escape to the neutral zone.
It was in there that she discovered about the dragon, she doesn't even know why she is seeking him. The power to regain her humanity? The power to enact revenge? To protect herself and others? She doesn't know, but its the only lead forward she has, the only light that seems to guide her somewhere that isn't the living hell she has been through.
