Name: The Anferr-Dyme Kingdoms
Demonym: Anferrian or Dymian
Description: The Anferr-Dyme Kingdoms is ruled by King Uljar Veta and King Vanir Jank. The main race of Anferr is Hakav. The people of Anferr are relatively poor, but the government is doing well. There is little discontent in the streets due to vast acceptance of the Doxian religious morals, and the logic of our chosen patron Dox, Morin.
Race: Hakav
The Hakav have adapted intellectually to be the equivalent of humans. They have heterochromia, meaning one eye color is different from the other. The Hakav are humanoid reptilians with a short snout and Brownish-Green Scales. The tail is considered a vestigial structure, and is therefore small in size. Like humans, they have evolved to walk upright on their two back legs. Claws are large if left unclipped. The poor classes usually don’t pay attention to appearance, so their claws are usually relatively big. It is shameful as nobility or a King to have unclipped claws. The Hakav tend to be very territorial, so crossing a Hakav’s property without special permission are executed. The Hakav Race, though appearing earlier than humans, evolved intellectually at a slow rate, explaining why the Hakav and Humans have similar levels of intelligence. Due to the Hakav being few in number, existing Hakav tend to be naturally friendly to other countries that are primarily Hakav.
Origins:
The Hakav race is thought to be created by Olldar (The Grand Creator, according to Doxians) The main tribes originally came from the central Albion desert, but migrated both north and west.
Government:
The Anferr-Dyme Kingdoms is different from the standard form of feudalism. Rather than one king ruling, there are two kings. King Uljar Veta and King Vanir Jank. The kings are very friendly towards one another, and tend to agree with each other on most issues. The royal families live together in the east and west wings, respectively, in Spinjoff Castle.
The government is classified as a feudal monarchy, with the king being Uljar of the Veta Dynasty, which has been the ruling family since the Anferr-Dyme Kingdoms were founded. The Kings are the main ruling power, with no restricting elements. On the other hand, the Kings have Royal Divisions that are run by specialized, educated courtiers that help advise both kings on certain internal matters. There are 4 Divisions, the Division of Income, The Division of Defense, the Division of Olldar, and the Division of Nobility.
Economy:
The Economy is mainly stimulated and run by the Division of Income, which is funded by the King's Treasury to help promote and improve trade routes, collection of taxes, etc.
The Anferr Fur Trading Monopoly is a subsidiary of the Division of Income. Fur is sold as a luxury to other countries for a high price. Lumber ownership is currently in competition for a monopoly, with The West Dyme Lumber Company owning charters to the West, with the East Anferrian Lumber Company owning charters in the East. The King has been trying to unite these two companies to form a monopoly, but the Nobles representing these companies have threatened rebellion. The Iron mines in the Anferr-Dyme Kingdoms are owned by a Monopoly called the Anferr Iron Works. Anferr Iron works is not a subsidiary of the Division of Income, but rather gives a portion of the iron to the Division of Defense, used for weapon and armor forging (as well as maintenance).
A large part of the nation's income is due to the collaboration of the Division of Income,The Division of Olldar, and the King. The King has made Church attendance mandatory. The Division of Olldar made “donating” to the church mandatory. The Division of Olldar has agreed to pay a portion of their donations to the division of Income.
FYI : Any Company that is a subsidiary of the Division of Income does not pay an additional tax the the King's Treasury. Any company that isn’t a subsidiary does pay a tax, though. Also, about 70% of all money that goes to the Division of Income goes to the King's Treasury. Half of the remaining percentage goes to the Division itself, and the remaining is split between the 3 Nobles who run it.
Religion:
97% Morin Followers (Doxian)
2% Olldar Followers (Doxian)
1% Igtarr Followers (Doxian)
Geography: Most of the eastern grassland is the Anferr Kingdom. Anferr has large trees, and vast amounts of wilderness. The western grassland is the Dyme Kingdom, which still has vast amounts of wilderness, but has higher agriculture. There is no official name for the deserts in the south, so they are called the southern deserts.
Population: 6,750,000
Demographics:
92% Hakav
6% Human
2% Other
Notable Locations:
Capital:
Spinjof (Pronounced Spin-Yoff)
Spinjof is the agreed capital between the Anferr and Dyme kingdoms. Spinjof is overcrowded due to urbanization. Spinjof is the richest city in the Anferr-Dyme Kingdoms due to its relative location to the wilderness, where fur and lumber is produced, and the Galta Mountain range, where Iron is mined. This makes Spinjof the economic capital of the Anferr-Dyme Kingdoms. Most people, however, are disappointed. Very high urbanization leads to a high unemployment rate in the capital.
Mide
Mide is an important trade outpost in the southern deserts of the Anferr-Dyme Kingdoms. Mide is also a heavily garrisoned fort for two reasons:
In the southern deserts of the Anferr-Dyme Kingdoms, gold was recently found in the few salt mines in the area. Merchants, nobles, and miners tend to stop at Mide for food, drink, and a place to stay.
Mide acts as law enforcement to the southern deserts, due to the low amount of people in the region. It is significantly harder for bandits and robbers to camp out in the desert.

Vanir Jank- Originally King of the Kingdom of Dyme, Vanir has had many political struggles due to his weak claim of inheritance of his father's throne. Vanir was a Vanir inherited his father’s throne at age 17, when his father, Fral, died. But there was a significant problem in the inheritance: right before his Fral died, he had an affair with a nobles wife. After Fral died, The nobles wife gave birth to Parik, a male, and therefor Fral’s true heir. Throughout Parik’s childhood, Vanir tried many times to get Parik assassinated. The husband of the noblewoman, Garen, knew that someday, his son, Parik, might inherit the throne. He was sure to keep Parik safe, using his money to hire the most elite bodyguards. When Parik reached the legal inheritance age (16), Garen used his noble influence, wealth, and lands to lead a rebellion against Vanir, in what was known as the Great Pretender Revolt. Vanir, losing the war, decided to propose a deal to the leader of Anferr, Uljar, who also happened to be his Educator. Uljar and Vanir would combine to form the Anferr-Dyme kingdoms, in which both kings have equal power over the country, and would have to agree to make a definitive decision regarding political and economic matters. In turn, Uljar would join the war on Vanirs side. Uljar quickly signed the treaty, eager to help his former apprentice. The rebellion, with Anferr’s support, was quickly crushed, with both Garen and Parik executed. Vanir is 33 years old.

The Kingdoms’ Spy Network: The Kingdoms Spy Network is a government run, international spy system. This network is very secretive. Most know of its existence, little know of its members. The spy network is responsible for both counter-espionage and spying on the affairs of other countries. The administration runs this Network through a series of secret building sites throughout the Anferr-Dyme Kingdoms, and even some in neighboring countries. The people who know all members of this network are both King Uljar Veta and King Vanir Jank, General Crien, and Retlu Frelta (AKA the Administrator). General Crien directly reports possible spy candidates to The Administrator. The Administrator puts these candidates through a series of tests, and determines which are most suitable for being a spy. The Administrator looks for qualities such as loyal, deceptive, and quick thinking. Once a spy is chosen, he/she is designated as either a counter-espionage spy, or an international spy. If he/she is chosen as a counter-espionage spy, then he/she is sent on scheming missions targeting potential foreign spies. When a foreign spy is found, the counter-espionage spy reports to the administrator, who then tells General Crien who/where the foreign spy is. General Crien then arrests the spy. If the spy is a designated international spy, then he/she will be sent to an international secret building site, where it will be used as an operations site. This spy might be used to find troop numbers/placement, weaknesses, and even sabotage an important building.
Military Organization: There is a noble warrior caste that is made up of standardized Infantry, with some pikemen, crossbowmen, and cavalry. The infantry is equipped with a shield, a flail, and light armor. The infantry is the main bulk of the force. Pikemen are mainly used to repel cavalry charges. There aren’t a whole lot of pikemen, but just enough to be considered an effective part of the army. Pikemen are also often used to protect the King, nobles, Generals, government buildings, and churches. Crossbowmen are the long range units used in the Anferr-Dyme army.
The general organizes commanders to head units of 1,000 soldiers each. Each of these commanders receives specific directions from the general regarding where to attack and when. Each division is composed of 700 Infantry, 200 Crossbow men, and 100 Pikemen.
