Belphegor Sloth
Belphegor noticed the girl barely listening to him, if at all, but he couldn't blame her. After all, he probably would get a trophy if tuning people out were a sport. He heard her mutter
"Hate to watch you go, love to watch you leave," under her breath, and cocked a brow.
Does... does she mean Satie? Oof, she has poor taste, doesn't she...? The blue haired Sin thought absently, scratching his cheek lightly with the nail of his index finger.
While he was worrying, he heard her speak to him again. No longer around Satan, she seemed like a much sweeter person. Was she putting on an act? Wasn't his business.
"Is everything okay? I didnt break shit. Except my neck. I definitely broke that." Sloth looked at her, before a small smile broke out on his face.
"Haha. You're really funny, huh?" The Sin beemed. He lightly patted her head in his typical big brother way, smiling brightly down at her.
"Don't worry, everything's fine. Cmon, I should probably bring you to Envy for filing as well— though, you don't seem like the type who'll stay to fill out forms." He took a step back, and turned to show her back to Envy's office. Despite being back to his cheerful and childish personality, inside Belphegor was sick with worry. It was a problem of his. He never wanted others to worry, so he'd always just smile brighter and keep it to himself. It was probably an unhealthy habit, but he was dead anyway, right? Why should others have to be nervous when he could carry it all? That was his perspective, anyway.
Sloth glanced to Oliver, who had found himself outside with a stack of papers. Again, the Sin would turn his eyes away. If a human didn't like him, Belphegor made sure to avoid them, so as not to make them feel uncomfortable.
He poked his head into the office once more, forcing another grin for a happy facade to cover his anxiety over the possibly broken portal. He glanced back to Cinder, waving her on.
"You'll have to wait on line for forms since you're late. Once you get them and fill it out, I'm going to continue the tour around here. Since you're late, you didn't get any questions in, so you can ask me all you like afterwards, alright? That's why I'm here, after all." Sloth flashed another comforting smile.
Then, I'll check the portal. Please let it be alright. If it affects any of my humans... Belphegor fought against a frown pulling at the corners of his mouth and the pinching of his eyebrows. The humans were his only priority, the only responsibility he had. He cared for them like family, if anything could hurt them or upset them Sloth wanted to get rid of it immediately.
