Weapons: Her bident named Leucothea and golden scalemail gauntlets. Her power crystal is encrusted in the crown on her head (see appearance.)
Background: Nymph was an abandoned child who had found her way to a small fishing town. Though she can't remember her past before this, she was mistaken to be a water elemental 'nymph' from lore due to her incredible control over the water, and thus got her namesake. She was praised as a goddess, able to calm the waters to allow for fishing or make them vicious to wave more fish in, allowing the town to greatly prosper under her influence. The academy caught wind of the incredible "nymph child" when she was around the age of 11, and the small fishing town was now a booming success. They witnessed her powers, and deemed her an Aedis. The town was reluctant to give her up, but Nymph promised to return once she had completed her studies. With no other name to go by than "the nymph", the academy decided to call her by that.
Personality: Nymph, even as a child, was full of energy. Whether that is good or bad is really up to you. She is very curious about every little thing, and is especially in love with shiny things like jewelry (hence the amount she wears.) She is a bit of a daydreamer, and is known to wander off if she loses interest in something or if something else catches her eye. Though they tried to teach her, Nymph isn't very good about personal space. If there is something on your person she is curious about, Nymph will not hesitate to poke and prod without a word to the owner. She is drawn to water, and half of the time when she leaves supervision it's to splash in a pool of water. Nymph is extremely friendly, and has little problem making friends due to her fun and almost childish personality. She dislikes sweets or hot weather, preferring instead a shady mild climate and bitter or spicy foods.

Luca Miasmas

Name: Luca Miasmas

Age: 20
Appearance:

Weapons: His buster sword Nether. His crystal has replaced his left eye, covered with a bandage wrapped around his head unless he's fighting. He also has a clawed gauntlet on his left hand.
Background: Luca's family is one of high wealth, or rather... was. They had a strong line of Aedis in the family, but despite their strength, they were slain in the middle of the night by an unknown killer. Luca was not home that night.
Just a day earlier, Luca had found out about his own powers as a Dark Aedis. He was strong but always said that he needed to be stronger, faster, better. It was almost an obsession.
After the massacre, he joined the academy and excelled as a student.
Personality: Luca is in general a manipulator with a god complex. He thinks everyone is beneath him, and that they are mere puppets to tug at when he needs them. He finds others boring and idiotic, preferring to be alone if he can. Of course, this side he keeps hidden. Like a true con artist, Luca acts charming when dragged into social situations, people often calling him "sweet" and "gentlemanly." Though he uses honeyed words, beware- he most likely wants something from you. Luca believes he is the ultimate judge of good and bad, and his balance of this is warped. Those who praise him and adhere to his lunacies of divinity are loved, while those who object are persecuted. He is a quiet sadist who will stroke your cheek with one hand and stab you with the other.

Belphegor Sloth

Belphegor would jump slightly at his hand being smacked away, looking down at her curiously. The pout Cinder made caused a little snicker from the tall Sin, who covered his mouth in a half fast attempt to hide it. "Sorry, sorry. It's a force of habit." He raised his hand to bring attention to his height, a cheeky smile on his face. "It's not easy being a 'giant', yknow?" The blue haired Sin offered. It truly was hard to interact with people when you towered over them. The times his neck hurt from trying to look down to speak with someone was indefinite at this point.

Still, the girl really was an entertainer even when she wasn't trying to be. Even if just for a moment, Cinder had lightened the worries he was having. A real talent.

Now, he waited outside for her to finish patiently, crouched against the wall with tail swaying as he glanced absentmindedly at the group. It was... smaller than before. They must have ran off at the sight of the paperwork. Well, Belphegor couldn't blame them. He would be able to get this tour over quickly, now that there were fewer people. Usually he would take a nap afterwards, but...

Eh, might as well hurry and get it over with.

The new souls are introduced to the other sins, if they were available, and shown around to major places they needed to know.

Belphegor let them go afterwards, saying "If you need me, I'll be back in my office after a little while. I have to do something first."

The characters now have free roam. What will they do first?

Belphegor Sloth

The soul portal looked the same, besides the increase of soldiers around it. Satie was really on top of it, it seems. The banner had been replaced, now burnt from said red headed Sin, and Belphegor would have laughed if he weren't so terrified of what he might find.

The guards had moved by to let him see the portal, Belphegor's tail tucked close to him to show his worry. Not very vocal verbally or physically about his emotions beside happiness, Sloth seemed apathetic if anything to those who didn't know him. His face was blank, no slightly turned up corners of his mouth and no sparkling happy eyes. He was completely stone faced as he placed his palm on the outer edge of the portal. The Sin closed his eyes, feeling the energy of the portal. It was potent and strong as usual. Could Cinder just have been a glitch that got through? Belphegor had a bad feeling, but at least he had put his worries at ease.

The blue haired Sin stepped back, giving the portal one last look over, before quietly returning to his office. It seemed everything was fine... right?

Unsurprisingly, as soon as he got into his office the tall man passed out on the couch, one arm flung over the top of his face and the other brushing the floor, his jacket thrown off to some unknown place in the mess. His close underlings peeked in, gave an unamused sigh, and gently closed the door.

Mutebox

Thankfully, it wasn't a busy day today at the bakery. Mutebox had just finished with a customer, an elderly soul who loved the fruit tarts, when she glanced at what was in the case. There seemed to be enough to bring to the sins today!

She picked out the desserts carefully: a huge cake for Gluttony, smaller sweets for the other sins who weren't the biggest cake eaters, and of course a chocolate bunny truffle cake for Sloth. It was the most chocolate-y of their selections, some say too much so, but Mr. Sloth always adored it. That was just like him, childish as always. Mutebox made the motions of giggling as she thought about how happy he would get over something so simple, but as usual no sound would come out. She liked him a lot, he was kind but he also was one of the few people she could talk to, albeit mentally. His telepathy powers were really useful in that regard.

Mutebox added up the price of the desserts in her head, dolling it out of her dress pockets. Actually, the sweets weren't free. She paid a bit of her salary back in order to bring them, but Mutebox didn't mind. It wasn't like she was using the extra money anyway. Once she had her collection, she let her boss know and put her medical face mask on. Mutebox grabbed the large bag of dessert gifts and walked outside towards the headquarters, keeping her head low.

funny story

So, I'm a weirdo as most of you know and I live with a fairly sane roomie who at this point probably has had enough of my shit.
Last night, I was giggling maniacally to myself thinking about funny stuff for this role play and the characters (ex. A fanfic writing demon who ships more than FedEx and is every bodies go to for quality shipping of literally anyone in the Underworld)

Anyhow, roomie walks past my room, peeking in curiously wondering what the heck I was up to (I'm not someone you should leave alone for too long. Things may explode.)

Roomie thinks she's funny, asks "Oh Jesus, I'm afraid to find out what evil plan you've birthed from your mind vagina now."
I turn to her, stone faced. I reply. "Hey now, how do you know my mind vagina is a mammal? Maybe it hatched an evil master plan."

Roomie looks at me dead square without blinking for a few seconds, sighs and shakes her head, then walks to her own room.

One day she will actually send me to a mental hospital, I swear.
