I like how Tyaethe seems to have no respect for her captain or anyone else above her rank.
A timeline of Asuna:

Clueless> Missing> Overbearing> Domineering> Backup> Dead> Alive but Missing Again> Imprisoned> Plot Device> no longer missing> Cheerleader> Basically Useless
Rough limits on Chris's magic:

Using Shove doesn't take too much energy. It's about the same as if she had actually shoved someone. It's really more of a cantrip than a spell.

For Barrier and Ward, it depends on how they're cast. Both spells were created with use of an anchor in mind. If they're cast on something metal, they conform to that shape and draw a small amount of energy as long as they're cast. (In the case of Chris's tunic, she cast it on the silver threads in the weave. The spell tired her as much as walking around in full iron armor.)

The way Chris is casting now, she's technically using herself as the anchor, but not being made of metal the spell would just collapse if she let it settle. Instead, she's forcing it to remain in the first stage of the spell, which takes almost three times as much energy.
Christina shook her head, keeping half of her focus on maintaining the barrier. The magic didn't like being cast without an anchor, and if she let it the shield would shrink until it settled onto one. Beyond that, she spent the effort to respond to her captain.

"Unless the assassin brought a battlehammer or a magic user, I should be able to hold this barrier until the danger passes." She spoke through clenched teeth, her body rigid as she fought the will of the barrier. Still she didn't seem to be losing.
I'll get around to it today
fine, Ian can be a tracker
excuse me, Garrett is obviously DPS.
Is it just me, or do the Iron Rose Knights mostly seem like a bunch of monkeys with swords?
I mean this smells like a crazy set up. Seriously though. Failed assassination. And all the Knights run out?

yeah, all except half of them
after all, there was an entire song written about how the singer was indeed a dwarf and then naming his favorite racial activity.
