Vari looked around, not exactly prepared for any of what was going on. She did, however, recognize one of the newcomers, and from the stories she had read she knew that there was little danger, and that she wanted not to be in this room right now. Turning to the ghostly visitor, she bowed deeply.

"It is a pleasure to make your aquaintence Knight Merilia; I am Vari, currently a knight of the Iron Roses. Vy your leave, however, I velieve it would be prudent for this room to be less crowded. I vid you all a good night."

With that, she turned around and faded into the background, disappearing as she left the kitchen behind.

Blades of Iron Roses: A fantasy Knight RP

Vari drew no attention as she drifted down the hallway toward the kitchen, sparing almost no focus on the pattern in her breath. As long as she had been doing it, Breathing While Walking took almost no concentration, so she had plenty of attention to spend on the conversations unfolding ahead of her.

Originally, she had been coming down to swipe a snack to go with her book (she didn't need to eat, but she still enjoyed the taste of food). However, the maids on duty sounded upset over something, and she didn't need to add missing food to their list of troubles. Instead, she balanced her breathing to a regular pace and walked into the kitchen as any normal person would.

It was indeed a bit of a mess in there. One of the maids was having a panic attack while another tried to calm her down, and the third seemed ready to fight someone at the slightest twitch. There was also a few Knights strewn about the room besides herself.

Clearing her throat, the diminutive Knight called a bit of attention to herself. "Is this a vad time to fix myself a snack?" She asked, falling into her old accent.

Sakura's slim but calloused fingers reached around the edge of the wall and dipped into the bag Jin was holding, resurfacing with something random wrapped in bright paper.

"I didn't eat breakfast before I came." She explained in a small, slightly muffled voice, looking apologetically at Jin from where she was half hidden behind the wall. Her face was hidden more than halfway by her scarf, with only the top of her nose and her eyes showing. Slowly, she unwrapped her sandwich and pushed it under the folds of the concealing cloth, presumably taking a bite.
