Brief Description: Ezra has lived in the shadow of his older sister, Madison, for as long as he could recall. It never mattered to their parents how much trouble she caused between stealing, driving drunk, and starting fights. She was always their favorite and the "golden child" that could get away with murder. This was, perhaps, why Ezra was so withdrawn in high school and cared little for his grades. He never partook in extracurricular activities nor did he show much interest in hobbies. A therapist eventually diagnosed him with depression and Generalized Anxiety Disorder though there was few attempts to treat it. Conversations with others became rare and were mostly reserved for Ezra's bearded dragon, Nessie. His conditions further declined after he was cited in a suicide committed by a classmate. Since that incident, Ezra has resorted to wrapping a scarf around his mouth and does not speak unless spoken to. As he had no plans for life following graduation, he was more than eager to accept the invitation to the Temple of the Zodiac. There, he hopes to learn more about himself. . And get away from his home in the process.

Brief Description: Andrew was completely neglected by his parents. This wasn't unusual for the Prince children, however, as they were almost entirely raised by their eldest brother, Wesley Prince. It was early into Andrew's childhood when sociopathic tendencies developed between these circumstances and biological factors. This was, according to Wesley, why the family abstained on having pets. There were attempts to reign in the young man's behavior though it only worsened as time wore on. By the time that he had been accepted into New York University, it was far too late. He had already fallen in with the wrong crowd and was quickly making a name for himself. It wasn't long before he was using his ability to become an "information broker" for one such nefarious group. This was, of course, much to the dismay of his twin sister. Not that he much cared for her opinion to begin with. In fact, his decision to follow his invitation to the Temple of the Zodiac was guided by the want to antagonize her. Like everything else in his life, the allegations of "powers" were little more to a game to him anyway.

Brief Description: To say that Jude had a turbulent life would be an understatement. Born into poverty as the son of a Haitian peasant and Brazilian emigrant, he would be known as Pwofèt António Jean-Baptiste Serrano Oliveira for the first fourteen years of his life. Living conditions were exceptionally poor for him and his family as food was hard to come by while trash constantly lined their slum. His father, who had gone to find work in Port-Au-Prince, was later killed in the earthquake that hit Haiti in 2010. Jude began to develop his ability shortly following this. He eventually used this to his advantage by claiming that he had been possessed by the loa, Baron Samedi, following a Voudou ritual. Brief Description: Levi has always felt like an outsider when compared to others. He was no older than twelve years old when his family ripped him away from his once comfortable lifestyle. A small coastal town was quickly replaced by the bright lights of a bustling city on the opposite side of the Tasman Sea. It was also around this time that his grandparents unexpectedly passed away and what little exposure Levi had to Maori culture disappeared with them. Withdrawal shortly followed this and Levi's fear of cities mostly kept him indoors. Social interaction eventually came from the internet while entertainment mostly came from video games. It wasn't long before Levi was able to make a name for himself as a gamer and later as a streamer under the username "Leviath@n". His mild agoraphobic tendencies were further aggravated following his high school graduation. It eventually came to the point where he sparingly left his parents' house which is where he resided up until his departure for the Temple of the Zodiac. He has serious doubts about having any unique abilities, but his parents were more than eager to finally shove him out of the house for a little while.

Interest checks may be the place to start. I'm also in this Roleplay which is easy to join and a bit different than other ones. We're always looking for new people and we're all pretty close. We have a Discord OOC too. If you're interested in the concept, then I always welcome people to come join.

Roleplay is mostly done on the forums or through site PMs from my experience. There are some Discord Roleplays though it's mostly used for OOC ("out of character") discussions and interactions. Discord does seem to be rising in popularity, however, and I'm personally more a fan of it than forum-based plots. Most of the Roleplays you will find on here will likely be on the forums though.

Also order some groceries if you're worried about going out, that's what I've been doing.

I'm checking out a few roleplays in the casual section, since advanced seems a bit more time demanding than what I'm looking for. I'm very much into the Scifi and Fantasy genre. Perhaps even Thriller as well.

Casual is usually where I land as well though Advanced has some games that fall into those categories as well. Hopefully you'll find a game that is suited to your tastes (I'm currently in a fantasy Roleplay myself) though. Don't hesitate to ask any questions that you might have as well. Ennui for Yesteryear... Old Rp Partners that have Gone

I used to Roleplay on Chatango with three college kids and someone around my age. I was around twelve then, but all of them were incredibly patient with teaching me how to Roleplay. I still have one on Facebook and one on Discord though I don't start conversations with them anymore. For the most part, both seem to be busy with their lives nowadays. I do miss all four of them and the sessions that we had together greatly. To this day, I still cite them for teaching me how to write properly and why I became interested in literature and Roleplay to begin with. We eventually switched to Skype when I was about fourteen and picked up two other members who I still keep in limited contact with.

The other person that comes to mind is the ex-girlfriend of a friend of mine. We ended up bonding over using Quotev and talking about our OCs through Skype before starting a Roleplay together. This eventually went on to inspire most of my characters even today. I do miss her, but we had to stop talking after it became obvious that she was into me and also somewhat of a bad person. I really liked the plot that we had going though. My friend has no idea what happened to her though so reconnecting her would be difficult to say the very least and I'm not sure if I would be willing to anyway.
