Current Played VA-11 Hall-A and I didn't realize that a bartending game could give me such an epiphany about my life, to be perfectly honest.

Orthodox Easter has arrived, which means my time for replying to stuff is going to be close to nonexistent. I apologize.

It's been a stressful past few weeks for me, so I apologize for how that may affect the quality of my posts and my general grumpiness.

Bio

Well hello, what are you doing here, my friend?

Well, if you're still here and you wish to know more about me, then:

I'm a 22 fella who's currently in college and is trying to RP while attending college at the same time. I've been into roleplaying since about the mid 2013's, though I was really bad at it during the first year or so. I "migrated" to RPGuild around 4 years ago since the previous site had banned roleplaying due to a large influx of newbie roleplayers polluting the site with shitty RP's. Either way, since then I've been on this site quite regularly, except during a few occasions when real life took precedence and I had to vanish for a month or two.

As for writing capabilities, I'd like to think myself right now that I'm somewhere in-between casual and advanced levels of writing, though if I'm really into an RP, I'll tend to force myself to write something advanced. As for writing in general, you don't have to worry about that, I really love writing and I do it all the time even when I'm not roleplaying, though there are "dry" periods when my creativity seems to vanish for no discernible reason. General interests include most types of fantasy writing as long as it's properly written, though it has happened in the past for me to be interested in something when I thought I would like it, so if you have an idea and you want to roleplay, then pitch it to me and I'll tell you if I like it or not. As for smut, well, I'm not actively looking for one, but if you think you have an interesting idea, then feel free to pitch it to me.

Well, that's about it, if you want to know more personal stuff about me, or simply wish to have someone to talk to about any topic you so desire, then feel free to PM me.

Upon hearing her rather serious expression when speaking of her respecting him enough for her not to mess with her family, he scratched his chin for a moment, before sighing and shaking his head. "I appreciate the sentiment, Eira, I really do, but I meant that as a joke, not as something serious!" he spoke, sitting down close to the fire, allowing his legs to rest a bit. "I know you would never mean any harm to me, or my family!" his tone changed to reassuring one, with him speaking as if he would to a daughter.

Upon hearing Eira continue to discuss whatever concerns she had, his expression changed again, with him focusing his sights on the flames as she spoke and though his sight was not concentrated on her, his hearing was and he heard everything that she spoke. Upon finally voicing her concerns, his expression did not change, but instead, he himself started speaking. "It's simple, my dear Eira, it's because we are so different from them." he said, grabbing a stick and absently poking them as he spoke.

"We're so different from what they know of the world, so much so, that they are afraid that we might harm them, so they treat us with caution, afraid to trust us." he said, removing the stick from the flames and watching it burn whilst speaking. "Plus, the wasteland is not a place where you can afford to be too trusting, if you would see a giant of a man and a young woman speaking in third person, you'd be cautious as well... hell, if you remember, most of my clients were scared that I might kill them instead of save them!" he smiled at the thought and rose from the ground and approached Eira, lightly placing his hand on her shoulder.

"And if they prove to see us a threat and attack you, or me, then... well, I'm sure you know me well enough to imagine what would happen if they dared attack us!" for the briefest of moments, his sadistic side showed with a grin, however, he buried them again deeper than he already had. "But enough of this talk, we have one another and that is all that matters, now let us talk about something more light-hearted, like the liquor we'll drink by this time tomorrow!"

Anna yawned as she stared through the window of her own little home, well, her own home was among the larger ones of this settlements, but even so, it was nothing compared to the homes in Erubesco, or at least from what she heard. She had lived most of her life within the slums of the capital, so the largest home she had seen there was smaller than what she was living here. She shook her and smiled, the things that she was thinking of now of all things, her brother would arrive here tomorrow and she wanted to be rested, but the mere excitement at the prospect of her seeing her big brother again kept her awake and energetic.

A light snore momentarily distracted her from her thoughts. Her big and brave husband, well, he was bigger than her, but then again, many people were taller than her. She could not really remember when the two decided to marry, but she answered yes without any hesitation, the happiness that moment brought her... it was the best day of her life. He warned her before that he was a mercenary in the past, that he had gathered many enemies during his working times, in fact, it was one of his enemies that had driven him here. But she did not care, she loved him and he loved her, they would both deal with this issue now if it arose again.

Her thoughts again floated back to Aran, her big, protective brother. She remembered the day that she noticed his dark thoughts, the ones where he dreamed of carving people up, not to help them, but simply for his pleasure. She remembered how hurt and how sad he looked when he saw her staring at him as if he was a monster and she was very scared of him. But she realized that same night that he had not done anything like that because of her, she was his mental crutch, the one keeping him from snapping into his calculated, sadistic self. So, the next day, she greeted him with a smile, she apologized to him and then hugged him just foe good measure, then she promised that she would always be by his side, that she would never, ever leave him if she could help it.

The large smile she saw on him afterwards all that made her feel like she had conquered a great obstacle, like nothing could go wrong with the world and though a few hitches had appeared along the road, like her having to move here, the two had been keeping contact as often as they could, he would even come visit her as much as his time allowed and though her life was far from perfect, she would not change a thing in it.

She yawned again, as she grew ever more tired. Finally, she sighed and shook her head. It would not do for her to have bags under her eyes, after all, nearly two years had passed since the two had seen one another, she had to look good in front of him. So with that thought in mind, she bid the moon goodnight and walked back to the warmth of the bed where her husband lied in a deep sleep. Tomorrow would be a good day, she would finally see her brother after such a long time.

As her body fell on the soft bed, she felt like it was draining all energy from her, compounded with the comforting warmth, it would not be long until she fell asleep. Tomorrow would not be a good day... it would be the best day for her. And with that thought in mind, Anna Seiran finally fell into a deep sleep with a large smile on her face.

@Letter Bee

I would say that your should not end it, but it's your RP, you do what feels right. But may I ask why you want to end it?
I know that it might be a bit too late, but you have all of my interest, especially since it sounds like an advanced version of Nocturne.

Aran's expression had taken a complete 180 as soon as Drake had arrived. He had rarely seen mutants in his lifetime, but the times he had seen them they were not friendly at all, after all, one had caused the bad leg that currently hindered him so and that was only for seemingly looking at a mutant the wrong way, so needless to say, he did not like them at all, however he had not told Eira of his hate for mutants and when the topic arose, he veered away from the topic to something else before he would say something that might influence her in the wrong way.

It took Aran's entire concentration to keep any hateful thoughts for the mutant from rising, however that effort was doomed when his expression changed to a glare as he looked at the mutant, probably telling everyone that he was really enjoying the presence of the dragon-like mutant, the fact that he looked quite a bit threatening did not help with the fact at all, however, he tried to keep his tone as friendly as possible.

"Erm... Drale, me and my friends here would not mind more company if you're willing to trust our group enough to trust us, however, I am a bit apprehensive of leading you towards the settlement we're currently traveling towards as quite a few of those people are friends and one of them is my only living family, so I need to make sure that you are trustworthy enough... understand?" his glare lessened and his tone was relatively friendly, however, he was still as wary as he was before of Drake, he just did not want to give it any reason to attack them.

Both Eira and Overreach spoke something, however, the concentration it took him for no dangerous thoughts to arise made their words and actions pass by without him really noticing them, only when Eira finally spoke again was that he was finally able to properly hear again. "Well, I'd offer you something as well, but Eira holds most of out food rations so I'm afraid that I have nothing to offer you!" he laughed, however, the laugh was a somewhat nervous one, so it might have defeated it's original purpose. However, once Eira looked up at him, he sighed and wordlessly joined her as he went alongside her, he wasn't one to mind blood or viscera, or their smell, he had all too often felt that smell so it was nothing new to him.

As he helped make a sort of campfire, he looked at her for a few moments and calmed down. Though he often butted heads with her and often argued about her rather... lax attitude when it came to more sexual relations, a lot of the time getting the two in trouble, still, he considered her the legacy he would leave upon this world, for a lack of a better word, he considered her a daughter and protected her accordingly.

"Eira, be careful..." he said to her and made sure to make it ambiguous as possible, he was sure she'd get what he meant, he had basically raised the girl. "By this time tomorrow, the two of us will be eating properly cooked food, resting in proper beds and maybe drink a bit of liquor if we get there!" he chuckled at the idea of a drink, three months had passed last since he had even drank something containing alcohol. "Also, from my sister's description, her husband is quite attractive, so please abstain from doing... well, him." it was nice having conversations like these, it took his mind away from his more sadistic nature and it helped him turn into a proper human being, who knew, maybe in a year or two, he might be able to feel emotions like he had in the past.
Most of the remaining mages knew what they had to do, as soon as the opening came, they all casted their own spells specifically made to dispel other spells, especially like the one before them. Most of the warriors were still floating and had lost their footing, however a few of them were able to properly aim their magitech rifles at the undead cult mages, hoping that the rifles would prove to be much more effective than the offensive magic that the previous mages had used.

Siegmund on the other hand, studied around for anything that he might be able to grab so he could prevent himself from floating off and he briefly notices a person trying to run off, she seems familiar, or at least her features seem to be familiar enough, but where has he seen or at least heard those features. The name Sauerstein rang through his head, this is the daughter of Rayner Sauerstein, Clarimonde, a former close friend of his in the past, he had even offered Rayner an large amount of money to train some of his Hunters, alas, before he could respond, the war had started and everything had went downhil for the Sauerstein's.

He wanted to make things right again, he still considered Rayner a good friend, but the freedom of his old friend was beyond even his own reach, but if he could at least free her, then he could maybe set a plan in motion to help free her father as well, even if their name and holdings would not be restored, he would award them with one of his own lesser holdings, IF he could ger her and free him that his.

However, he shook his head, he could not spare any men to take hold of the woman, they were busy as they were, unless... an idea floated around his head and he gritted his teeth and ordered the nearest mage next to him as silent as he could. "Throw an offensive spell towards me, something that would send me that way!" he ordered the mage and prepared for impact, however, a surprise came over him when the mage behind him cast a Timespace spell on him, a short range instant teleporation spell and though he was truly teleported as was intended, the fact that the young mage cast a spell that was not quite within his capabilities made him pass out and make him very vulnerable.

He thanked the mage within his mind and ran towards where Clarimonde was, if he was to take hold of her he would have to find her and with so many undead roaming around, she might be in danger and he could not have her die now, not yet.
@Verdaux

Erjak stared at the inebriated defenders for a few moment before turning his sight towards Kahl and grinned briefly and hearing the word subjugated before turning towards the defenders with a glare that would make even fellow orcs cower. He drew as much breath in as he could let out the loudest, most inhuman roar he could muster, he figured the drunken fighters would probably surrender, after all, nobody here wanted to die and he did not want to kill elves if he could help it, it would leave a bad taste in his mouth if he had to.

"IF ANY OF YOU RESIST, I WILL PERSONALLY MAKE SURE TO CLEAVE YOU ALL IN HALF, OR MY NAME IS NOT ERJAK THE SAVAGE!" he roared, he figured the elves might have heard of him, he often led bloody raids into the elven lands near Yoit, in one of those raids he had gotten a hold of his dear former friend.

Still, if the elves chose to resist, he was already prepared to swing his battleaxe at them and hoped that the first few deaths would cow the few remaining elves into submission, if not... his bloody beserker rage would definitely make short work of them, it had dealt with a dozen battle-hardened orcs, he figured that it would deal with a few drunken elves armed with makeshift blunt weaponry, he was confident in his skills, he was not sure of Kahl however, he had not seen him fight yet... hopefully he would prove to be a powerful warrior and one he could confidently call brother.
Ummm, yeah, I'm not sure how I should say this, but due to my personal life getting a bit... hard, my responses may get a bit erratic. I am in no way quitting this, but you should all know that I will not be able to reply as fast.

Speaking of, I might be able to get a reply up by tomorrow.

I have a question first, may I control his sister, and maybe his sister's husband as temporary characters, or do I have to make them as characters proper? I'm planning to use them to boost my character in a certain way...
