Hey everyone, So Korkoa's friend-o @L4dyH4wke is going to be joining us as a guest-star of sorts. She'd going to put up a character, but she'll actually be on the bad guy team and be my evil minion! Mueheheheh!
Yeah so! Welcome her! She won't be participating every round but she'll play a fun part :3
Reaper glanced around the second floor, but found it just as empty and disgusting as the lower level. When her back was turned peering into one room, a figure, silent as the night, stepped out of the room directly opposite of the one Reaper was inside.
A woman. Combat boots, black jeans, black tank top, and the brightest red hair humanly possible tied in a messy bun. Her left shoulder was heavily wrapped in blood soaked bandaging. Her eyes were red too; they could easily be compared to Levi’s glowing bulbs, only a different color.
“Ten seconds.” She hissed, her voice ever so slightly tinted with pain. “You have ten seconds to talk.”
Wall Walker
“It’s kind of quiet. Aren’t there usually a bunch of screaming children in an orphanage?”
"Good afternoon, Omega. " Ditch said, without even glancing towards him once. "Tis good to see you again. I imagine we await on others." “Yeah. Good to see you too, Raven Tale.”
"I'm surprised he'd be here... maybe someone important is here? Maybe he was once an orphan?" Only now did Ditch’s head turn, her gaze resting on Rose. “He's been hanging around this orphanage quite a bit. I have reason to think he’d be back today.” She looked back to the building with a small sigh.
“You don’t have to worry about any kids getting in harm’s way. They’re on a field trip. Some big company donated money for them to be taken to the zoo. The place is empty.” Ditch said, devoid of any emotion. Either she was nervous, or getting her game face on. Ditch was a cyber vigilante first and foremost; it would be interesting to see how she fared in a physical fight. “If everything works out, your devices should definitely stun him. The problem is getting Walker to stay in one place.”
She vaguely ignored Wraith’s happy-pappy greeting. “Really, if you were trying to hide something I’d suggest being a bit more quiet.” She muttered.
Only when Graffiti spoke did someone really truly grab her attention. Ditch, with gritted teeth, whipped around to face the spray painter. “Fucking hell,” She barked. “Can it. Pun intended. If you’re going to talk shit about your teammates, leave. Her “gadgets” are possibly going to be the way we catch this bastard if it comes to that, so be quiet.” She'd already had enough of Graffiti, and the woman has been here under three minutes.
Ditch glanced around. No other pedestrians. She pulled her skeletal mask out of her satchel bag and tugged it over her face, as well as some black leather gloves. And just then, a figure emerged from the orphanage. No, not from the door. From the brick wall on the side. Actually, correction. Through the brick wall on the side.
Though no one could see it, a grin spread across Ditch’s face. “Go time.” She said. The voice scrambler was clearly on, she sounded as if she was talking through a jar but ten times worse.
The Wall Walker moved away from the orphanage as if he'd just been taking a casual stroll. His hands in his pocket and his dark blue hoodie pulled over his face.
“Walker,” Ditch called. He froze, but didn't turn to look at the skeleton-masked vigilante. She waved a gloved hand at him. “Hey, me and my friends here were wondering if we could have a few words.” He still didn't look at the group, but slowly pulled up a cloth of sorts that had hung around his neck.
“Hard pass.” He retorted sharply, voice deep and gruff. And then, he bolted, heading straight to phase through the shoddy apartment building next-door.
“Well then.” Ditch muttered. “Here we go, I guess.”
@Dynamo Frokane Yo bro. I saw you mentioned a black spray can in your post - yet that's nowhere to be seen on the list of cans you posted in Graffiti's CS. I would prefer if you stuck to what you previously listed, and if you want a new can with new properties, you'll have to talk to me first.
"Hello and welcome to Millennium City evening news with your host Scotty Declan! Your only source for the truth. Tonight we have word of another heroic individual, one Hummingbird, gone missing to new and rising criminal activity. The popular young woman is only one in a string of vanishing powered individuals such as Suiren, the psychotic and heartless water manipulator, as well as Sapphire, a cold and calculating illusionist, who have fallen under the shadow of the city's newest villain Umbra. The criminal has proven quite lethal so far and appears to be quite unknown as of yet except for his growing casualty count, more information on that as we have it. Tonight one of our most famous heroes Captain Powerhouse is being congratulated outside for foiling an attempted robbery by the notorious Wall Walker once again by having no fear in following the thief through his precious walls. Let’s head over to the scene with our ace reporter, Miss Sarah Fortune, how’s it looking out there Sarah?"
“It’s looking good Scotty, with only a few hundred thousand dollars worth of property damage! Captain Powerhouse is certainly known for his effectiveness! So tell us, Captain Powerhouse, how do you feel about the fact that despite your best efforts Wall Walker once again escaped?”
“Well Miss Fortune, I have to say that even the slipperiest of cockroaches will one day meet their nuclear end with me in this city.”
“… Great! I’m sure Wall Walker is shaking in his boots right now Captain Powerhouse. And do you have anything to say to those in Goldrose Bank?”
“Well, they’re welcome of course.”
“Of course. You do this city a great service, Captain Powerhouse, and I look forward to what will no doubt be another stimulating interview with our resident superhero! Back to you, Scotty!”
"Thank you Sarah. It sound like our burly Captain is ready and raring for another go all for our well-beings and our wallets. Onto the weather with our extraordinary Oscar Fontaine! Whats the weather looking like for this week sir?"
"Haha, nice one Scotty. The weather today is looking fantastic, we've not a beautiful clear day in the mid 80's, perfect to go out for a nice walk in the park! Looks like we've got a small weather front moving in though, leading to some rain tonight and cooler weather tomorrow.
"We've also seen some heavy air traffic the past few days, from our resident Supers tying up the sky lanes. Most are keeping low, flying between or just above buildings, but some have been seen at high altitudes. Keep your cameras ready, you might see a flying star! Back to you, Scotty."
"Sounds lovely Oscar! Now covering the last big event on tonight's news, the large protest at Vale street came to a head when the Multi-billion dollar heiress Zoey Kasimir made a public appearance to explain her intentions for the newly purchased apartment complex. The crowd got extremely fired up as reporters asked the hard hitting questions to which the young woman seemed to stumble nearly triggering a frenzy until the young heroine Angel appeared to disarm them. Sources say that with her intervention not only the crowd but Miss Kasimir seemed to come to an agreement that was less about profit and more about the people. Soon after both women left the scene and it looks as if the standing was mutual or maybe it was more? More information as it comes from Millennium City news your unbiased and balances source for important events. Good night and stay safe!"
The screen goes black, though audio still plays.
"Great show everyone! Hey Oscar, want to go get a drink after we wrap up?" "Fuck off Scotty, nobody wants to talk to you."

Two days after the first meeting, at 4:07pm, every vigilante had received a text message.
“I have locations of both the rogues. If you’re going after Wall Walker, meet me at Miss Cauldwell’s Orphange for Young Children, Mermary Lane. If you’re going after Scarlet Shifter, I hid security cams at the last place I looked for her, and sure enough, she’s there now. Francesco Way, 3155. Both groups need to move fast. And please do you best not to aggravate either rogue. I’d like for all of us to come out of this mostly unharmed.”
Scarlet Shifter
The house at 3155 was almost not even a house. A part of the roof was bashed in, the door was propped up against the doorway, not even attached to the hinges. The porch was littered with trash, and it looked like a single step on it would cause it to cave. But despite what Ditch had said, upon entering, it would look completely empty. Once again, trash covered the floor, some wood was molded and blackened, the staircase to the second floor had several missing stairs, and the kitchen looked like a rat’s nest. Aside from the horrid creaking noise that escaped the house with every step you took, no other sounds were made.
Had Ditch lied?
Wall Walker
Across the street from Miss Cauldwell’s orphanage for Young Children, Ditch stood with crossed arms, leaning against a brick wall. It seemed that all the places Ditch picked were horribly trashy, because Mermary lane was almost as empty and dirty as Racket Ave. That was the slums of Millennium City for you. Hopefully Ditch would send you on a mission to the upper class area at some point.
The only semi well-kept building was the orphanage. Usually you could hear children screaming and shouting from miles away, but today there was nothing but silence. Some big, rich company had donated money to the orphanage to take the kids on a field trip to the zoo in an attempt to make themselves look better.
She carried a satchel bag this time, still big enough to hold her laptop but considerably smaller than the backpack she had at their first meeting. Ditch wore the same, or similar black clothing, but she was without her mask. She wore no glasses, and her hair was tucked back into her hoodie. She did not once take her gaze off of the orphanage. Something was brewing.
If you are still finishing downtime business/collabs/etc, you can still post them. Just no more new interactions, as the next chapter has begun.
