Darn it! If I had gotten one more hit, (~4 points of damage?) would it be dead? I'd roll again to see if I could kill it, but *gestures to empty determination*. But now it appears final kill will not go to me.

Yes, sometimes things won't be the way I'd like. But I am fully aware that I can't do anything to change that - I came here to vent my dissatisfaction because I know this. Literally, this entire thread is a series of 'you problems' that some people just happen to have in common, and they come here to vent that out. But my complaint is that the majority of the 18+ games I've seen don't have content that could be considered such. Not that I don't like the games themselves.

Well, I imagine the extreme lack of any fire would be sufficient. Sparks exist because those are just flakes of wood and metal; warmth exists because that is an energy, and causes changes in the movement of particles; but fire does not occur.

I'm incredibly bothered by the number of 18+ roleplays popping up. When you're 17 and under, that's not fun. Honestly, in my opinion, if there's stuff like explicit gore and descriptive adult romance, then it's 18+. From what I can tell, most of the games don't even qualify for that. Maybe it's a stigma that teenaged players are less than able, or not as dedicated. Maybe I'm missing something. Maybe some people are just putting it there because of the 'one in each category' recommendation. But, I've given up looking at those games, because clearly, they don't want me, and I'm not just going to age up and call myself 18 to satisfy them.
