@Duthguy Dan successfully holds back the darkness. The darkness sleeps.

Hawkeye Harold moves further into the Summoning Room. He loads a Dead Eye Bullet and puffs on his pipe. Note: You will only refresh determination from your pipe after a successful loot/scavenge roll.

Pastor Jimmy starts to sing. Shield of Light counts as an action so I'll ask you again about it come your turn :D

Aaron Goldfeld crits for 5 damage and hits for 4, leaving the monster severely wounded. He receives 10 XP for his efforts!

The bloodied beast seems at death's door.

Aaron still has 6 movement to spend.

The beast is determined to take revenge on the posse. It stomps forward and takes a swipe at Pastor Jimmy who ducks under it's outstretched claws, watching it sweep through the air above his head with deadly strength.

@Duthguy The beast approaches and Dan can see in perfect detail each gnarled matted clump of fur, he can taste the smell of rot on it's breath. How many has this creature killed? Why was this mine abandoned? Panic sets in as it truly hits Dan that this is no normal creature. He take 2 Sanity damage!

Still, it's better to kill then be killed. Dan has 3 movement this turn. What would he like to do?

Darn it! If I had gotten one more hit, (~4 points of damage?) would it be dead? I'd roll again to see if I could kill it, but *gestures to empty determination*. But now it appears final kill will not go to me.

@Duthguy if you move to D10 you'll be in melee range of it so won't be able to shoot. Would you like to move into melee range or stay at a distance and use your guns?

@CollectorOfMyst I'm not one to kiss and tell but since it's highly likely to die this round, 2 more damage baby
