Gonna be out for the day, people, so I won't really be RPing much.

Bio

Hey, there. Myst here, as you've probably guessed. Can't exactly write in other people's bios, can you? But, you're probably reading this for a reason, so I'll get to it.

I prefer high-Casual and Advanced games, in a medieval, fantasy or sci-fi setting, because that's the sort of nerd I am.

I'm a thinker - I've thought a lot on certain things, and am firm in my beliefs. So you could ask me what I thought about a good few things and I could give a well-reasoned answer. Or a less reasoned answer based on my morals.

TheCharactersOfMyst - This is my storage for past and present characters, and where I might occasionally go for nostalgia and/or recycling a character I've used before.

@Mae

>Aaron's world crashes down around him from a sudden burst of intense deja-vu, as though he'd done this just bare seconds before. He digs in his heels and, clutches at his head with a free hand, shaking it, trying to clear the sensation. Now is not the time!

EDIT: Translation; end turn.

@duskshine749 Damn you, making me double post!

Might as well drop it off for everyone anyway. This is Mae's stuff secret stash; this is why you pay attention, folks.

@Mae Mhm, I thought something might have been a little off, there, too. Well, I'll move him to F14 and shoot at the Goliath, instead. The tactics stay the same, however. Bottleneck them. And I'm always that one person who's doing the RP, you know?

@Mae Wait... I've just realised I technically can't move through Harold and Jimmy. Also... that movement would be three total? I took the 5+1, not the 2+1.

Ah, okay then. Looks like you'll get it back in a few rounds, then, Alexus.

>Aaron ties the feather to his hatchet using some spare twine. He looks over at Father Jimmy and gives a brief nod in thanks. This battle may look to be terrifying, but they will pull through

@CollectorofMyst Aaron enters the fray. He has either 2+1 or 5+1 movement this turn. He has utterly no fear in the face of such danger!

I mean, not particularly, no. Definitely afraid. Also...

Initiative:
1. Hawkeye Harold (Speed 6)
2. Aaron Goldfeld (Speed 5)
3. Slasher (Speed 4)
4. Scare, the Law Holder (Speed 4)
5. Dan (Speed 3)
6. Tied - Goliath (Speed 2) | Slasher (Speed 2)
7. Tied - Father C and Pastor Jimmy (Speed 2). Whoever posts first for that round is how we'll break ties.

The tentacles are immobile, and the slasher moves twice? M'kay, then. And last but not least; I'll take the 5+1 movement, if you will,

>Aaron calls out to the others. "Only so many of 'em can come through the tunnel at once! Bottleneck them! Retreat gradually, keep as far from that Goliath as you can without getting out of range to shoot these things, and they're going to have to come to us! If you've got somethin' melee, or you think you can take some more hits, get at the front! Preachers, start prepping your sermons! And for Prorg's sake, either get some courage, or drink some liquid courage! We can't let this madness get on top of us!"

>His advice said, Aaron moves to F12, takes aim with his carbine, and shoots at The Slasher. He doesn't like that one, not at all. He hates them all, certainly, but this one could do some damage next to the big one.

EDIT: Added some extra commands to Aaron's tirade. Sorry for taking charge, y'all, but we do want to stay alive, you know?
Oh, okay, shy. Thanks for explaining.

...I like that. It sounds kinda nice, as well. If I need more info, I'll be sure to check the interwebs, but my curiosity has been sated for now.
@shylarah Oh, also, in the town centre, where all the shops and such, they put up a sort of multi-stalked lamppost that resembles the candle-holder you use (which I imagine has a formal name that I don't know), though I've never seen them turn it on. It's actually in a better position to be seen than any Christmas trees they could've put up, and there's a sign explaining that it's to honour and acknowledge the traditions. Don't quite understand how that works.

Would you mind if I asked what happens with Chanukkah? What it observes, the proceedings, the traditions, and such? While I know very little about it, I'd like to learn.
@shylarah Oh, okay. I'll admit, practically all I know about Chanukkah came from the kids' cartoon Arthur. Francine and her family are Jewish in that show, and there was candle lighting and they sang as it happened. If that's accurate or even correct; it is still a kid's show.

@PrinceAlexus Yeah, I know. It's just when it comes to these kinds of things, I don't want people to just play the game. I want them to breathe life into it. I'll never insist because you're within your rights to do as you please, but it's like a photo frame or a painting that's just slightly askew.

That said, can't exactly neuter Aaron and Jamie. How are they supposed to have and raise a happy family then? Wait... then it goes back into adoption...

...Yes, yes, yes. I love all the characters I've seen, and though I may continue to hound Alexus about making their own, even though I love the way they play Jimmy so a new one is always a good addition.

Also, I'm actually quite curious to see how Flabnoose works with the rest of the characters.
