"Grrroowl?" The bear that stood before her was not a druid, it was a real bear. Tamed, for it didn't seem likely that a wild bear would be so vigilant in its watch of an old the pier such as this, which could only mean its owner wasn't to far. As she guessed, four gentlemen were locked in conversation further down her pier. It was rude to interrupt them, but she had to make her presence known at least, lest they leave without her. Batche sashayed down the pier towards them, giving a friendly wave to her new party as she went. "Evening gentlemen! It is lovely to make your acquaintance also, I am Miss Batche and I am here about the fearsome flesh rending beasts from another dimension. Did I over hear that someone is injured? I brought Nettle and Skinbane infused bandages for just the occasion your mortal bodies decide to succumb to physical punishment." Batche smiled, already being so helpful, Master would be content.
It was not often that Batches activities deviated from her main objectives, when she did however it was with exceptionally good reason. News had travelled south of a village that should not be and protected by beings not of of mortal realm. While her Master was not one for performing dark arts himself, a means by which he could perfectly defend his private chambers would certainly be of interest to him, he very much valued his secrets. It was the very reason Batche was created after all. Be the source of the Fiends an artefact he would have certainly brought it back for scrupulous examination, although if were packs with ancient Gods he would not be so inclined to get involved. She wouldn't know till she were there, and neither would her Master. This was the sort of event her Master put to paper, the sort of muse he sought out. Following the path he took had always left the Golem 10 paces behind, it was time to take risks on new curiosities if she wanted to be by his side again. _By his side again._ Batches Reward Circulator Matrix kicked in and she felt the closest approximation to a warm fuzzy feeling a construct could feel. Voices. Batche awoke from her slumber and stretched awkwardly in her container. After a quick massage of her neck leathers, she started putting pressure on the front of the box. Slowly she eased the few nails that held her in out of their resting places until there was enough room to negotiate the act of stepping out onto the pier with the grace only a machine could in such a situation. After dusting the remaining hay that had adhered to her crystalline body, she offered a delicate curtsy to the first person she saw, the large Bear. "Its lovely to make your acquaintance, noble Druid. Pray tell, where are the others? I do wish to meet them." After a short pause of the Bear saying nothing, Batches continued slightly flustered, "Oh please forgive my rudeness mighty Druid, my name is Miss Batche but you can just call me Batche, if it pleases you... what should I call you?"
My impression is Neutral evil is someone who achieves evil in both systematic and random fashions, the method to which evil is performed is irrelevant to the Neutral evil. Chaotic Neutral is someone who lives on a whim and doesn't care for morality or law, he/she is a selfish individual. True Neutral is someone who is motivated by other means, a Druid for example always does whats best for nature regardless of how its achieved. True Neutral and Unaligned are different. As for personality and Gods, I've always thought of it as a way of keeping a characters behavior consistent, a rough guide as to how a character should act in a given situation. As it impacts on their decisions it would impact on their opinions on the Gods too and as a result would find themselves drawn to particular gods.
Still working on my character, need to fix her back story a bit.
Name: Batche Age: Unknown, presumed eons old Gender: Female Race: Warforged Class: Monk Alignment: True Neutral Weapon: Hand to Hand (Rocky Gauntlets) Abilities: While being exceptional in the art of hand to hand combat, Batches true skill lies in her deep knowledge and understanding of flora and its uses in Alchemy, Medicine and Cuisine. Appearance: Batche is a lightweight Warforged, taking the shape of an rocky armour clad buxom woman made of toughened glass. She stands at 5'7" and weighs around 220lbs. Her glass hair falls to just above her shoulders and has brilliant lemon yellow Citrines for eyes. While each of her firm powerful thighs are equally covered with Sandstone, her arms however are not, the right one being much better defended than the left. Built to function as an alchemists assistant as well as bodyguard, Batche is equipped with more digits than most Warforged. Personality: Batche is your perfect maid or assistant, kind, hardworking and entheusiastic. Her synthesised voice is soft and gentle like the wind to match. She takes great pleasure in helping others. She harvests information, she'd say, "she's was equipping herself to be more useful to Master", but the reality is she was crafted to collect and store data. This makes her an expert on horticulture, alchemy, hand to hand combat, spellcraft (which she can't use due to having no magical aptitude) and a few other specialty subjects. She's bad at comprimise, if the current goal doesn't appear to help her on her quest, you will need a lot of bluff/diplomacy points to keep her around. She's optimistic she will one day find her master and thinks and is motivated by nothing else. Brief Backstory: Batche lives to serve, or at least she used too. Awoken by a dungeoneer, she found herself without her master. She waited for several years for his return but had no luck and the touching up of their home was done somewhat in vain. Worried, she packed up everything she'd need from her cavernous home and set off into the world to find him and return his favourite possessions, which he'd carelessly forgotten, to him. Not knowing much of the outside world, Batche stuck with a friendly traveler, who too must have been alien to these lands, until he introduced her to some friendly mages at a local college. There were more foreigners here but using their vast collection books Batche quickly mastered their native tongue, so that it would no longer be a barrier to communication with all outsiders that seemed to be around. They still seemed to have trouble understanding why Batche had to leave, protesting with such bizzare claims as, "We command you now, golem!", "We paid for you!" and "You can't leave yet, you haven't even serviced us! You shouldn't even have free will!" Even when they used physical force, Batche disposed of them quickly. Since then she's been searching, nothing will come between her and her master. Master only ever left home to seek out new curiosities and with no other clues than that, she uses his notes to seek them out as well, in the hope of one day bumping to him. Between escapades, Batches retreats to her dungeon home to tend to her garden.. Equipment: Large ornately carved black box containing her master's favourite possessions Master's notebook Dungeoneering tools Scrolls of Summoning Theme Song: [Out of battle](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mOgGZUWOPMc) [ROLLING NATURAL 20s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9M4Y16iDTE)
> **Coloured Cyan**, the character looks interesting but the idea of a manawork golem doesn't really fit into D&D which uses Vancian magic and mana isn't really a thing. If you still want to play a construct might I suggest changing the character around to be a [warforged](http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Warforged). They're native more to Eberron but in Forgotten realms they are rare but still exist, and tend to vary more in shape that in Eberron. My apologies, I'll rework the character, cosmetic changes at best really. Warforged it is.
This is exactly the sort of thing I'm looking for :) **Name:** Batche **Age:** Unknown, presumed eons old **Gender:** Female **Race:** Machine - Manawork Golem **Class:** Monk **Alignment:** True Neutral **Weapon:** Hand to Hand (Rocky Gauntlets) **Appearance:** **Empty flask:** Batche's body, without the mana to support it, collapses back to the form in which it was first crafted, a large Sandstone covered roundbound bottom flask, etched with complex arrays of symbols and text in an archiac long forgotten language. Two large Citrines rattle on the inside of the bottle, held in by a cork which is easily popped off. The jagged rock covering the surface would look symmetrical if one side hadn't been damaged and chipped off. In this state she requires someone to pour mana potion back into her reserves until the flask is atleast 1/2 full. Despite its very cumbersome appearance, the flask only weighs 135 lbs. **Filled flask:** Batche, brimming with magical power, uses it to take the shape of an rocky armour clad buxom woman made of pure blue mana. She stands at 5'7" and weighs no more than the bottle on its own does. Her mana hair falls to just above her shoulders and has brilliant lemon yellow eyes. While each of her firm powerful thighs are equally covered, her arms are not, the right one being better defended than the left. The gold etched flask and its cork float mysteriously in her abdomen, swaying and bouncing regardless of her movements. As Batche loses mana, so her body loses its mass, becoming thinner and younger in appearance until there is no longer enough mana to support the construct any longer. The remaining mana is used to place the gems back in the flask, adhere the rocks back on the glass in their proper place and cork the bottle. A full flask lasts 10 days as long as she doesn't take lots of damage. **Personality:** Batche is your perfect maid or assistant, kind, hardworking and entheusiastic. Her magically synthesised voice is soft and gentle like the wind to match. **Brief Backstory:** Batche lives to serve, or at least she used too. Restored to sentiency by a dungeoneer, she found herself without her master. She waited for several years for his return but had no luck and the touching up of their home was done somewhat in vain. Worried, she packed up everything she'd need from her cavenous home and set off into the world to find him and return his favourite possessions, which he'd carelessly forgotten, to him. Not knowing much of the outside world, Batche stuck with a friendly traveler, who too must have been alien to these lands, until he introduced her to some friendly mages at a local college. Master only ever left home to seek out new curiosities and with no other clues than that, she uses his notes to seek them out as well, in the hope of one day bumping to him. Between escapades, Batches retreats to her dungeon home to tend to her garden and brew more life sustaining mana potions. **Equipment:** Large ornately carved black box containing her master's favourite possessions Master's notebook Dungeoneering tools Extra Mana Potions Scrolls of Summoning **Abilities:** Perfect Mana Shield - All damage is absorbed in the form of mana loss, not health loss. Mana Aura - Batche leaks mana to her surroundings as a result of the damage done to her left arm, magically adept creatures gain bonus mana regen.

Okay, my main issue here is I'm not sure how well she fits into the established lore I have so far.

I'm trying to figure out how to put my issues into words but it's a start.

Well now I understand why its taken so long. I have tried to hide some opportunities for character development in my Bio, some bits better than others. Hope that isn't throwing you off, I could PM you some specifics if it would help.

No, I haven't been looking at it this whole time and I was out for a while. ^^;

Um, sorry for how long it's taking me.

I know, I'm only joshing. Anywhere I could make a start?
VitaVitaAR said Um, I'll get to the other bio soon.

Is it really that bad it needs 14 hours of analysis? :(
