RP INFO

Ok, here's the thing. I'm tired of scouring the interest checks for just the right partner. So I figured I'm gunna add a little plug in here for all to see!

I am collecting rp buddies because I wanna have myself a craving, and be able to feed said craving (without driving my boyfriend nuts). Its faster to have a group of friends at hand that I can brainstorm with, then edit my interest check and wait....possibly lose my craving and move onto something else.

So here are some things you need to know about me!

Common genres: adventure, modern fantasy, classic fantasy, dark fantasy, soulmate stuffs, romance
Things I don't really like to play: zombie apocolypse, slice of life, canon fandom stuff, pokemon?

Zombie: I just find it...repetitious and without a real goal?

Slice of life: I don't want to roleplay vanilla human lives. I have one of my own, and rp is my escape from that.

Canon fandom: lots of times, I have no idea what Im doing XD

Pokemon: Well...I like pokemon (up to a point) but...I always wonder about the mechanics. I dont want to pay attention to stats, and I dont want to focus on 'catching them all'

I do MxM and MxF. I would do FxF if it was alluring to me, but its not.

Now that that's out of the way, the sticking parts:

I would prefer RPing here in threads, or switching to discord, where I am much more accessable. I dont know if you've seen my profile, but i have a terrible habit of drifting off for long periods.

I will NOT guarantee a post a day, every 2 days, every week, or hell even every month. I will post what I can, and when I can. I'm 25 years old and damn it, I got adulting to do! Sometimes, I don't even do my duty to tell you if I'm going to disappear. Why? because something came up, I'm in a slump that lasts longer than I think it is, or I found something shiny and new and just have my head stuck in the computer. ADHD. ANd ADHD is why I say that my partners here should get ahold of me on discord, i am also crawkid there too.

Days fly by for me.

I need someone who is patient and understanding of this nature of mine, while still looking forward to rping with me. (I do try!)

If you're still here after all that, congrats, you're a rare breed.

I know I said that I will post what I can and when I can...but I do tend to give each post a good amount of thought. Still, if you find that my posts are getting smaller and smaller, don't be afraid to talk to me about it.

Also, I like rp partners who get excited about brainstorming, and who want to try new flavors and pairings. I want YOUR thoughts, and I LOVE it when we're in the middle of an rp and suddenly you decide this side character that was you main's uncle gets bitten by the vampire queen and...I dunno...but its sudden and interesting! AND you can bet I'll want to shove my own sudden and interesting plot twists in there too! (but of course one that'll make sense) This...makes it feel alive, and I love it so so much. :3

I just don't want to be forced to come up with every detail, plan everything out, beg you for ideas, and then have you flake out because its all 'my rp' and you lost interest in it 3 days in. Had it happen. If you're that person, sorry, that's boring. I don't WANT responsibility for everything. If I did, I'd be writing a book, not seeking a cooperative narrative with a stranger that might be on the other side of the planet.

She nodded and spent her time playing games, eventually moving onto minesweeper -which she found challenging- and clicking around on other things.

She noticed them moving through towns instead of stopping at the next one, and how he changed where he put his car. She was actually a bit impressed with how dodgey he was getting.

Once he was done with his sweep, she carefully set her laptop down and tossed her things at the foot of her bed and flopping onto it, grateful to have a soft surface at her disposal again. "I don't know what the blue e is, but its got a yellow ring on it..it annoys me because i don't know what to do when I clcik it..but I found out the red X thing makes it go away."

While she waited for him to answer, she thought about the blood situation. She wasn't sure how he was getting blood..but she did need it...would she be willing to risk his safety again by not eating before sleep...or risk being found by feeding. It was a dilema, and one she had to figure out relatively fast.
She nodded slightly, taking the new information into consideration. If he had heard the sounds of Marl checking into an inn, he was probably going to be at that inn. She felt her bundle of nerves settle down a bit as she kept her eyes on the game she was playing. She smiled slightly as he mentioned her using technology, but wasn't sure if he was relaxed enough to talk like normal or was forcing himself to joke.

She won again, and feeling slightly bored, she awkwardly moved her finger around so that she could select another game to try. Time to try Solitaire.

When he spoke softly to her next, she paused in the play of her game. "Thank you," she said quietly, more about him trying to comfort her than anything else. "Also...I have to ask you questions when we stop next...like about this blue e thing..."
Elizabeth popped open her brand new laptop and started quite clumsily using the touch pad to explore. For a while, she entertained herself by trying to learn how to work paint...but then she found the games section. She lost a few games of chess against the computer before seeming to figure everything out and she whooped its butt for the next few games.

She jumped when the phone rang, and became quite awkward feeling as she ceased gameplay so that Marl didn't hear any unnecessary noises- thus forced to listen to the whole conversation again. When it ended, she still felt awkward, so dove back into playing chess. After a few more games, she glanced up at him.

"...he might have heard the engine...with how fast you're driving..." she mentioned quietly, actually afraid to talk to him because she felt like the air got heavy with all of his stress. but..she wanted to say something, to try and not be as caged feeling as she was.
ok its been 6 days and I know you were online when I posted that last post. so here's the deal.

post or there is no rp.

Its not a threat, its how an rp works. obviously there can be no playing of the roles if there is nothing for that role to respond to. i'm going to give you a week before I give up on you and unsubscribe. :/
heeeeeeeeey~

I understand that a conversation via chatroom might be hard to roleplay with long posts XP
Elizabeth packed up her make up, using eyeliner to create an illusion about what shape her eyes actually were, and bright red lipstick. It would work for now, though it clashed a bit with her laxed look of having haircurlers in. Oh well. She reminded herself that Connor was probably the only one who would be seeing much of her anyways.

When he described Marl, she nodded, comitting the description to memory. Average aging man with brown hair, black truck, and a big scar on his face. She could work with that.
She grabbed whatever Connor hadn't already, silencing her doubts to him. To anyone else, his logic was solid and enough to put most people at ease...but Elizabeth had dealt with some pretty stubborn hunters in her time, and it had taught her to never take anything for granted with their kind.

She blinked as he said he'd have to make new IDs, but he sounded happy. Funny, she had thought that it would be a pain in the ass to come up with a new identity (ahem) but she shrugged it off. maybe he just liked it, and that was that. She just nodded, took a last look around the room, and got into the car.
"Yeah...it'll work. " she answered quietly, slightly miffed at him laughing at her, but soon waving it off as she gently stirred the now warm blood. She glanced at him and his blonde hair. it was still a bit of a shock, but to her at least, he didn't look ridiculous. She smiled slightly, glad that he didn't cut it.

She took a sip of the blood, her body eager for it after the long rest. A few more sips, she licked her lips and made her way to the bathroom, setting it down and getting to work on wetting her hair back down. After that, she slipped her haircurlers back in..after all, she probably wouldn't be doing much while she was awake, imagining that Connor would spend all night driving as far as he could to stay ahead of his teacher, "So, tell me what Marl looks like...in case I spot him first." she looked out at him, having left the door open. She never underestimated hunters, and part of her was sure he would catch up...though maybe she should stop showing that part of her, since Connor was trying his hardest to keep them both out of his reach.

She reached over and grabbed her mug again, inviting more of its contents into her.
Elizabeth, being used to a longer sleeping schedule that Connor was, did not wake for several more hours. It would bea bout 6-6:30, enough time for Connor to get quite a bit done if he needed to.

When she did wake however, and first spotted his blonde mop, she let out a short scream before recognizing it as him. To which, she threw her pillow at him. "A warning would have been nice!"

She stopped to cough a bit, not used to screaming or yelling like that. She rubbed her throat and swallowed, soothing its sudden slight soreness because of it. Grumbling, she would slip out of bed, collect all her haircurlers, and go grab a bloodpacket. She wasn't going to give Marl anymore clues than she needed to. That meant using up a blood packet and surviving off of that for the day...er...night. She looked at it, considering drinking it cold but then pulled out the coffee mug and went to the task of warming it up.
She watched him get up and pace. Well, that was that. She couldn't bother to argue about it, and she really did need to recharge. There were too many emotions this last waking period...and she knew it was probably a bad sign that she couldn't properly be afraid of Marl killing her.

She continued to watch him, a bit worriedly actually, yntul he told her to sleep again. She only nodded this time, crawling to the part of the bed to crawl into and get comfortable. her haircurlers lay scattered around. she was too lazy to put them back in now.

"Don't exhaust yourself too much" she mumbled as she closed her eyes and fell asleep. Her taught habit/instinct kicked in not too long after that and her chest rhythmicly rose up and down, just as a living human's would.
She let him talk with his determination, about how they were going to be fine. She let him make his promises. She let himself. She let him make plans.

But when he tried to explain to her how Marl worked and how he would kill her. She looked down at the ground for a second. "That was kind of the point of me suggesting it." she said, looking up at him with a bit of a sad smile. "You're right. He's a typical hunter, Connor. He's hunting his mark. You know he won't stop...and with him on our tails, there wouldn't be enough time for us to get to the medallion anyways. You made me feel alive, and I want to be with you...but I'm not going to let you be hunted because of me."
