RP INFO

Ok, here's the thing. I'm tired of scouring the interest checks for just the right partner. So I figured I'm gunna add a little plug in here for all to see!

I am collecting rp buddies because I wanna have myself a craving, and be able to feed said craving (without driving my boyfriend nuts). Its faster to have a group of friends at hand that I can brainstorm with, then edit my interest check and wait....possibly lose my craving and move onto something else.

So here are some things you need to know about me!

Common genres: adventure, modern fantasy, classic fantasy, dark fantasy, soulmate stuffs, romance
Things I don't really like to play: zombie apocolypse, slice of life, canon fandom stuff, pokemon?

Zombie: I just find it...repetitious and without a real goal?

Slice of life: I don't want to roleplay vanilla human lives. I have one of my own, and rp is my escape from that.

Canon fandom: lots of times, I have no idea what Im doing XD

Pokemon: Well...I like pokemon (up to a point) but...I always wonder about the mechanics. I dont want to pay attention to stats, and I dont want to focus on 'catching them all'

I do MxM and MxF. I would do FxF if it was alluring to me, but its not.

Now that that's out of the way, the sticking parts:

I would prefer RPing here in threads, or switching to discord, where I am much more accessable. I dont know if you've seen my profile, but i have a terrible habit of drifting off for long periods.

I will NOT guarantee a post a day, every 2 days, every week, or hell even every month. I will post what I can, and when I can. I'm 25 years old and damn it, I got adulting to do! Sometimes, I don't even do my duty to tell you if I'm going to disappear. Why? because something came up, I'm in a slump that lasts longer than I think it is, or I found something shiny and new and just have my head stuck in the computer. ADHD. ANd ADHD is why I say that my partners here should get ahold of me on discord, i am also crawkid there too.

Days fly by for me.

I need someone who is patient and understanding of this nature of mine, while still looking forward to rping with me. (I do try!)

If you're still here after all that, congrats, you're a rare breed.

I know I said that I will post what I can and when I can...but I do tend to give each post a good amount of thought. Still, if you find that my posts are getting smaller and smaller, don't be afraid to talk to me about it.

Also, I like rp partners who get excited about brainstorming, and who want to try new flavors and pairings. I want YOUR thoughts, and I LOVE it when we're in the middle of an rp and suddenly you decide this side character that was you main's uncle gets bitten by the vampire queen and...I dunno...but its sudden and interesting! AND you can bet I'll want to shove my own sudden and interesting plot twists in there too! (but of course one that'll make sense) This...makes it feel alive, and I love it so so much. :3

I just don't want to be forced to come up with every detail, plan everything out, beg you for ideas, and then have you flake out because its all 'my rp' and you lost interest in it 3 days in. Had it happen. If you're that person, sorry, that's boring. I don't WANT responsibility for everything. If I did, I'd be writing a book, not seeking a cooperative narrative with a stranger that might be on the other side of the planet.

Once his sweep was done, she set all her stuff at the foot of the bed. She lazily and somewhat tiredly pulled up her laptop, a text document, and after what seemed like only about half the clicks that marl's email should have taken-because she was quite fast at typing- she set it close to Connor. She peeked over his shoulder briefly at the site, smiling a bit.

"Seems to be more than what you thought it was."

But she couldn't dwell on that right now. She should probably sleep and let him do his business. Besides, she got the feeling he'd start getting worried for her if she didn't seep daily...even though she's told him before that it wasn't absolutely necessary. She quickly, and in a way so as to flash as little skin as possible, changed into more comfortable clothes before slipping under the covers.
She smiled amusedly at the website once she clinked on it. It was even better when Connor explained what it was all about and why it existed in the first place- which is a good thing because Elizabeth would have thought that the activity of hunting would have been kept a secret. Before she could get a good look at what the text said, however, Connor said that they should go inside and she should sleep.

Certainly, this was true...but she wanted to read what Marl had to say. Sighing a bit, she closed up her laptop, automatically putting it in sleep mode, and got her things, carrying it all inside.

"Well don't tell him to take it down yet. I want to read it...and I also need his email." she told him.
She smiled a bit, yeah, at least he knew she could shoot.

The keys jingled slightly as she got the key to the driver's door and slipped in, closing the door behind her and putting the key into the ignition. She buckled up and adjusted the seat. Glancing into the mirror, she turned the car on and pulled it out nice and slowly, easing onto the highway, where she sped up to the top of the speed limit. No point it taking it easy when you're on a mission and being followed.

She looked over at him, patting his knee with a smile before returning her gaze to the road. "Don't worry now, just sleep."
She would even turn on the radio, tuning to a station with soothing music for him.

The sun rose as she drove through those few hours. Just the heat from the light coming through the windows made her uncomfortable, but it was a sacrifice she easily made for Connor to not have to deal with such harsh dreams as he had described to her.

When they made it to the next town, she quietly set up their stay at the inn and moved the car into a parking spot i the shade. Not wanting to wake Connor up, she sat and relaxed. Shuffling her laptop out and slowly, clumsily, surfed the internet. For the hell of it, she looked up "Marl the hunter"
Elizabeth grabbed she stuff, glad that Connor figured out that she was back and understanding that he might be too tired to do much else then give her a hug. A small trail of thoughts about what he could do went through her mind, but she halter that with a firm mental 'no.'

Doing a sweep of her own, she saw nothing left and she nodded to him. "I'm am ready." she said smiling at him. "Also, I'm sorry for...whatever the hell that was."
She started packing her things away, if only to be neat about it. But she was going to leave her laptop out so that she could do some work on it. Once all that was done, she went into the bathroom, used a towel to wipe off her sunscreen, and reapplied a layer. She grinned a bit to herself as he asked about her driving, amused though she understood why he would try to avoid sleeping if he could. "So, assuming I can remember how to drive huh?" she asked with a raised brow and looking over at him.

She looked a bit like she was being serious but a couple seconds later she broke out in an amused grin again, "Kidding, of course I do. So, get everything together so we can get going and you can get your sleep." she said, walking over and shutting her laptop. Her work can wait until another time Connor wasn't awake or nearby. This upcoming vampire army deal has her thinking, and she needed to talk to Marl about it because it could be something really dangerous coming up on the horizon...for all of them.

And yeah, she half expected Connor to piece it togetehr now and hug the crap out of her. She smiled a little inwardly, kind of looking forward to it.
bump~
Elizabeth followed him, but stayed a little behind. She had already figured that Marl would have been gone by now, since he was already packing what little he had when Connor had taken her out for training. So, she let Connor do his thing, keeping her senses on.

She followed him into the room then, and quietly grabbed her medicine after he had looked about, and she couldn't feel the vampire in their room. "The sun won't be a problem." she reminded him, taking her medicine, "You should sleep....with your stake....I can stand watch for your anonymous admirer, in case they have my sort of medicine. It will probably take less blood than breathing all day....and our door is visible from the lobby. "

She looked him him, concerned. Being watched and followed was more maddening than actually having to fight whatever is following you...and he did need his sleep. She could stay awake a few hours for him while he recharged.
Elizabeth smiled as they held hands too, but also because he was talking about phoenixes and witches. She had been a vampire for a long time, yes, but she had been exposed mostly to her kind and werewolves...and since she had come to hate her kind, had not had much of an opinion about werewolves, and preferred human company...she never had gone out of her way to meet up with any other sort of supernatural. Now she wondered about witches..were they humans or some sort of supernatural that passed off as human?

She stopped as Connor had when they got to the inn, watching him, she could tell he knew someone was there. She found herself looking in its direction, having honed her skills a while ago. "vampire" she said, looking back over at Connor, "and probably the one that gave you your dream."
She grinned, taking the bullets and putting them in her jacket pocket, sliding the safety on the gun and putting it away. She glanced at him when he finished talking about the shooting and stuff, "Hell, Connor...if you want me to just slow them down, I'll just shoot them in the damn kneecap."

She rubbed her temple slightly but that was it. No more headaches, so more slippery mental state. Despite what Connor had said earlier, she could tell things were getting more dangerous. Getting her hands on the gun had unlocked the in-between memories she had needed, and since so much was unlocked, the rest of her had followed. It also reminded her that she had business to do. How dare he tell her she didn't pass as a hunter...that old bastard. Not that he was a bad guy...but still.

She kind of shrugged, slipping the knives away. She went over to him, taking his hand in hers. "Alright. Heading out sounds good...we can get to Salem, search and then get back to Marl. Right?"
unlike him, she had been too focussed on her aiming, and trying to improve it to really notice him watching her the same way she did him. The few times she did catch a glance, she assumed it was to watch how she was doing in case he needed to step in again.

But with her victory in knife throwing, she eagerly went over to the guns and prepared for his instruction. Surprisingly though, as he instructed her, she found herself just nodding in agreement...as if this talk was way familiar to her. memories started floating in, not as fast or as upfront..but enough to tell her why she found it so familiar.

When he finally handed her gun, she smiled and nodded. With very little hesitation, she seemed to easily slide into a good stance, aimed and took a shot. it was just a little high from dead center. She paused after the first shot, looked at the gun and then where she had gotten her shot in.

"Hm...you were right."

Then with a grin she aimed and shot twice more. This left no marks, but actually seemed to drill the hole deeper. She shifted slightly, repeating with three more shots, again only drilling a single hole. Perfectly in the middle. She smirked. "But it's still much nicer to aim than a prototype rifle."
