RP INFO

Ok, here's the thing. I'm tired of scouring the interest checks for just the right partner. So I figured I'm gunna add a little plug in here for all to see!

I am collecting rp buddies because I wanna have myself a craving, and be able to feed said craving (without driving my boyfriend nuts). Its faster to have a group of friends at hand that I can brainstorm with, then edit my interest check and wait....possibly lose my craving and move onto something else.

So here are some things you need to know about me!

Common genres: adventure, modern fantasy, classic fantasy, dark fantasy, soulmate stuffs, romance
Things I don't really like to play: zombie apocolypse, slice of life, canon fandom stuff, pokemon?

Zombie: I just find it...repetitious and without a real goal?

Slice of life: I don't want to roleplay vanilla human lives. I have one of my own, and rp is my escape from that.

Canon fandom: lots of times, I have no idea what Im doing XD

Pokemon: Well...I like pokemon (up to a point) but...I always wonder about the mechanics. I dont want to pay attention to stats, and I dont want to focus on 'catching them all'

I do MxM and MxF. I would do FxF if it was alluring to me, but its not.

Now that that's out of the way, the sticking parts:

I would prefer RPing here in threads, or switching to discord, where I am much more accessable. I dont know if you've seen my profile, but i have a terrible habit of drifting off for long periods.

I will NOT guarantee a post a day, every 2 days, every week, or hell even every month. I will post what I can, and when I can. I'm 25 years old and damn it, I got adulting to do! Sometimes, I don't even do my duty to tell you if I'm going to disappear. Why? because something came up, I'm in a slump that lasts longer than I think it is, or I found something shiny and new and just have my head stuck in the computer. ADHD. ANd ADHD is why I say that my partners here should get ahold of me on discord, i am also crawkid there too.

Days fly by for me.

I need someone who is patient and understanding of this nature of mine, while still looking forward to rping with me. (I do try!)

If you're still here after all that, congrats, you're a rare breed.

I know I said that I will post what I can and when I can...but I do tend to give each post a good amount of thought. Still, if you find that my posts are getting smaller and smaller, don't be afraid to talk to me about it.

Also, I like rp partners who get excited about brainstorming, and who want to try new flavors and pairings. I want YOUR thoughts, and I LOVE it when we're in the middle of an rp and suddenly you decide this side character that was you main's uncle gets bitten by the vampire queen and...I dunno...but its sudden and interesting! AND you can bet I'll want to shove my own sudden and interesting plot twists in there too! (but of course one that'll make sense) This...makes it feel alive, and I love it so so much. :3

I just don't want to be forced to come up with every detail, plan everything out, beg you for ideas, and then have you flake out because its all 'my rp' and you lost interest in it 3 days in. Had it happen. If you're that person, sorry, that's boring. I don't WANT responsibility for everything. If I did, I'd be writing a book, not seeking a cooperative narrative with a stranger that might be on the other side of the planet.

She hums, considering the wolf's question as she yawns and slides into the bed. Once she was somewhat comfortable, she turns to him, "Actually, since youre offering. Could you stay? You were...really comfortable, in a way I haven't felt in a long time."

He sighs, "I will escort you to look at Dante if you ant, even your friend Bane. Other than that, I recommend you do not offer any more help, and let us handle it." He pauses, his expression softens, "or, what I mean to say...I am willing to help you put your mind at ease, but I believe you have no more help to give. You are a tapped well, young lady."
just so you know, i dont have anyone around Bane that can answer his question or interact with him
The room, like many rooms, was utilitarian in nature. There is some storage, and one generic but pleasant piece of artwork on the wall. But other than that, it has been kept bare. Once they arrive, Astra sighs, though manages to keep her grumbling internal. Once she slides off of the large wolf, she pauses to enjoy a few pats along his neck, "Thank you"

"As far as I kow" he nods some, " your friend is being tended to, and chi here looks like he is recovering fine. If you would like, I can check on Dante again. Then I would implore you to rest" Jacob says, but keeps his voice fairly calm and helpful.
The sleepy elf groaned internally, not wanting to actually move from her spot...but she should probably sleep in an actualy bed. many of her people would complain to her if she decided to sleep on the floor. With a sigh, she gets on her feet, and begins to mumble directions to the nearest single sleeping quarters.

Jacob falls nto a thoughtful moment, " Hm...is it not enough to feel that the help is no longer needed?"
He falls quiet, "...perhaps you should let yourself sleep? I can bring you back to a room with a bed."
He inches closer as she prepares the drink, showing some knowledge of how to handle a demon. Interesting. Or at least a good bluff. Finally, he holsters his gun, waiting until she steps away to take the glass. He would have been happy to sit in a silence, even an awkward one, and have the time to think. However, the 'maid' began to speak to him, and it would be rather improper and unwise to ignore her.

So, he listened as she recounted her story. It strikes him as odd that someone would want someone unwilling to serve them food and drink. There are too many openings for betrayal, and too few openings for conversion. Bringing the glass up to his lips, he instead took a deep inhale of its scent. Whiskey, cinnamon and orange. Possibly the expensive stuff. Of course that's where his worshippers' money would go. Demon scum.

But beyond that, the demon hunter snuck another look at the girl as she keeps speaking, and frowns to himself. He doesn't like her story, but he can tell she doesn't like demons either. Finally, he takes a big drink and tilts his head back, letting his eyes close as the smoothness of it coats his throat in a way nothing else could. And on exhale he could taste and smell everything. he wasnt sure how, but there were floral backnotes. Almost rose-like. A damn good whiskey, and a damn shame.

With a sigh, he takes a much smaller sip to follow up. Finally he speaks again, each sentence followed by another sip, "I know he's in a ring, and have done some research. It's going to be tough. I don't have nearly enough to attack them quickly before they find out about this hit, and suspect a demon hunter. The doors are all unlocked, its up to everyone to walk through them."

He looks over at her again, "Including yourself."

His eyes drift down to the corpse on the floor. It had stopped looking human sometme during their confrontation, "yea, they always look like that before they die."

ok i think we're running low on content, should we get ready to skip to the next day soon?
She chuckles softly, "Hello Beta, it is nice to meet you. I am Astra, the leader here" she breathes deeply again, relaxing, "...I think I can get there, but I wont deny your help." she settles a little, head tilting to the side. She takes in the calming elements around her...the softness of the fur, the scent of the wolf, the feeling of his warmth against her back, and the tingle of her shadows mingling with his.

"I see...I'm relieved you were actually aware. I won't have to convince you then. We are stabilizing him and keeping him heated."

Chi leans closer, drawing the vampires eyes again. With a sigh, he reaches over and gently pats the cats head. "Hello Chi. I am glad to see you well."
She drops her arms, the spell dispelling. When she sees dante in a better state, she is even more relieves, looking over at the wolf helps support her. She gives a weak smile, "...thank you." A deep, slow inhale, and a similar exhale, "...I think I could use some sleep. Its been a long night."

Jacob nods slightly, "Indeed. We were only briefly in proximity earlier. " he quietly walks in, looking at chi and smiling slighlty but looking back over at ash. After a moment of consideration, he kneels down to her level, "Young lady. Your friend will be fine. You may not be aware of it, but you have been supporting him this entire time. Please rest. Be at ease, so that he can too."

Chi looks up at jacob, trilling curiously.
Suddenly her stature and muscles seem to sag and loosen up. This has been fairly tough on her mentally, the worst of it, of course, being what she was trying to rectify right now. She didn't want to think about Dante wasting away, looking so pathetic while still trying to assure her that he was fine. Right as rain. Ready to fight again in just a minute. Her jaw clenched in a flash of anger, soon soothed down into annoyance so that she can keep focus.

"...that's good."

He hums, looking towards the door to give the base a listen. But she isn't really making a sound, so he sniffs once, immediately locating her and beginning to walk off, "I'll let her know"

The chi in the lap goes purr purr purr....

All the way until the door opens again, "Ash, I assume..."
The light flicked on, activating fight or flight. Is it a cultist? Second demon? In a fluid motion, he turns and readies his gun. He had three more shots left in his gun, and immediately readies himself to count down.

But nothing happens, except maybe the ice settling in its glass.

And then she smiled.

He's wary; still uncertain.

The clock that had gone unseen and unheard this entire time, suddenly becomes the loudest thing in the room.

"He's dead... you killed the demon."

He stands a little straighter, lowering the gun slowly, but still ready to snap back up.

Still, nothing happened, and he finally has the time to have a closer look at her. His eyes linger on the tray for a moment. This was one of those times that could make some wonder if there really was a god. But he teeters on the edge of his suspicion, and his battle senses. Is the battle truely over? or is it just a lull in the action? What was her relationship with this demon?

He looks straight into her eyes again, another long moment as he tries to ascertain her mental state, "...is it poisoned?"
