RP INFO

Ok, here's the thing. I'm tired of scouring the interest checks for just the right partner. So I figured I'm gunna add a little plug in here for all to see!

I am collecting rp buddies because I wanna have myself a craving, and be able to feed said craving (without driving my boyfriend nuts). Its faster to have a group of friends at hand that I can brainstorm with, then edit my interest check and wait....possibly lose my craving and move onto something else.

So here are some things you need to know about me!

Common genres: adventure, modern fantasy, classic fantasy, dark fantasy, soulmate stuffs, romance
Things I don't really like to play: zombie apocolypse, slice of life, canon fandom stuff, pokemon?

Zombie: I just find it...repetitious and without a real goal?

Slice of life: I don't want to roleplay vanilla human lives. I have one of my own, and rp is my escape from that.

Canon fandom: lots of times, I have no idea what Im doing XD

Pokemon: Well...I like pokemon (up to a point) but...I always wonder about the mechanics. I dont want to pay attention to stats, and I dont want to focus on 'catching them all'

I do MxM and MxF. I would do FxF if it was alluring to me, but its not.

Now that that's out of the way, the sticking parts:

I would prefer RPing here in threads, or switching to discord, where I am much more accessable. I dont know if you've seen my profile, but i have a terrible habit of drifting off for long periods.

I will NOT guarantee a post a day, every 2 days, every week, or hell even every month. I will post what I can, and when I can. I'm 25 years old and damn it, I got adulting to do! Sometimes, I don't even do my duty to tell you if I'm going to disappear. Why? because something came up, I'm in a slump that lasts longer than I think it is, or I found something shiny and new and just have my head stuck in the computer. ADHD. ANd ADHD is why I say that my partners here should get ahold of me on discord, i am also crawkid there too.

Days fly by for me.

I need someone who is patient and understanding of this nature of mine, while still looking forward to rping with me. (I do try!)

If you're still here after all that, congrats, you're a rare breed.

I know I said that I will post what I can and when I can...but I do tend to give each post a good amount of thought. Still, if you find that my posts are getting smaller and smaller, don't be afraid to talk to me about it.

Also, I like rp partners who get excited about brainstorming, and who want to try new flavors and pairings. I want YOUR thoughts, and I LOVE it when we're in the middle of an rp and suddenly you decide this side character that was you main's uncle gets bitten by the vampire queen and...I dunno...but its sudden and interesting! AND you can bet I'll want to shove my own sudden and interesting plot twists in there too! (but of course one that'll make sense) This...makes it feel alive, and I love it so so much. :3

I just don't want to be forced to come up with every detail, plan everything out, beg you for ideas, and then have you flake out because its all 'my rp' and you lost interest in it 3 days in. Had it happen. If you're that person, sorry, that's boring. I don't WANT responsibility for everything. If I did, I'd be writing a book, not seeking a cooperative narrative with a stranger that might be on the other side of the planet.

hey hey :)
wanted to sit down and write today but my brain wasnt in it by the time i got to it

but i did do some work on the character sheet - let me know if you think the two cards i came up with seem too strong for starter cards
Chi grimaces, and after another moment, shifts back to a small cat, going to climb up the werewolf to sit on his shoulder.

Seeing some success, Peter presses his will on the fire even more, and then carefully sits down with her. "I am using my abilities to suppress the fire here, so you should be safe soon. I need you to focus on me, Ash. My name is Peter, we've already met...can you remember?"
Chi nods softly, shifting in place again, "Well, not everyone can handle jokes in a time like this..." he falls quiet a bit, keeping his eyes on her face, "so...what is it like in there?"

"....hunters?" He shakes his head again, "No, I've been asked by someone else to protect you. What kind of hunters are after you?" while he talks, he tries to grab hold of the nightmare. If he can, he starts to have the flames die out around them.
Chi pauses and sighs, feeling like his joke fell flat. It is a serious situation after all.

In the dream, Peter can't help looking on this girl with pity, shaking his head. "I am not..." he comes over and kneels down to her, purposefully ignoring the dream-blood. "I'm here to save you, in more ways than one...Do you remember my face?"
It takes a moment for Peter to adjust and understand his surroundings. On the outside, he purses his lips nervosly. On the inside of the dream, he grimaces. Vampires don't like fire very much. BUt he had no time to waste, so he reminded himself that it was not real, and pushed his way inside.

One might under estimate the sounds of a burning house, but it was difficult to ignore now with a lot of concerning crackling and popping. Still, he kept his senses open as he searched this mess for a particular little girl. "Little lady? Ash?"

On the outside, still in the room, chi shifts uncomfortably from one foot to the other, "if she throws people, im putting you i the way.." he attempts a joke.
"Faith.." he repeated softly, a bit amused, but only given the situation. Shaking his head, and having confirmed everything was where it was supposed to be, he ducked under the desk and pulled out a lumpy duffel bag he had slid into the room on entry,

"Faith is a very powerful thing...if you have it, keep it. And pray that your friend has faith in being rescued. I've seen that it can have very real effects on some people's ability to stay alive."

He hoisted the bag onto his shoulder, straightening out his coat in one smooth motion, and headed out the door, assuming she was in tow. As they passed by the sleeping quarters, he methodically laid a bible in the hallway, just far enough to be immediately discoverable once the door has been open. Then, he would unlock the door and move onto the next. Unknown to any except him and whomever would open said book, there were two pieces of paper just behind the cover. One was a written notice that their savior was a false prophet, and a child of God taken from the holy father and twisted by a demon. The other one was a pamphlet for the nearest church, with directions.

As he laid out these books, he spoke loud enough to get through the doors, "I know all of you are up and praying. I have a command for you, count to sixty, and then leave."

And with no other word, he began to leave the hallway and move through the house much faster. "ANd before you ask" he starts gruffly, still jogging, "I meant I had opened the doors metaphorically, but now they're really open!"

Before they left, he reminded himself, he had to let her grab the bottles of whiskey, so once they were away from the sleeping quarters, he looked over at her, waiting for her to take lead for the moment.
The hunter sighs heavily, losing his interest in being slow about his drink. He knocks it back - if this little dance of their was going to give him a headache anyways, it might as well be a hangover. It's a damn shame.

Finally, he holds up his hands, as if in surrender, "I said you can come with me, I just have rules about it."

After a moment, he sets the glass down and points at the decanter, "...do you know what this brand is?"

Getting back on his feet straight, he checks himself again. It seems rather lazy, but he is more focused than he appears. It's just that his senses are also being trained outward, to sense any strangeness or intruders on their conversation. So far, all he hears is the rain and thunder outside.

"If you do have a friend that got dragged into this, I'm sorry. I got a list of his properties, but he might have sold her...or worse. And if she is still alive, it could take some time to bust this ring up...as soon as two weeks, or as long as a year...per." He rolls his shoulders, " I'm not thinking it's going to take that long though"
He sighs and nods, sitting on the edge of the bed, "...I will do what I can...though im not as good as Dante would be..."

His eyes begin to glow a red as he keeps his gaze on Ash, quietly slipping into her subconcious.

CHi shifts in place, looking up at Bane, "...this is ok?"
Jeb holds up the clipboard again, making a small note, nodding, and walking off. WIth a little bit of time, he hung the clipboard frm a discreet nail on the door and went off to go get himself some sleep.

Jacob quietly made the switch with Peter, the younger vampire only relaxing for a short moment after his superior left...then turned his attention to the group inside the room, speaking softly, "If you know how to do it, sir, I can try to use my abilities to infiltrate her dreams and wake her up there."
