Jamieson Arkwright had been a wild child. He had was a bad boy, had no real direction apart from the one that led to fun. He and his best friend Ryan had had the life. They had been best friends from the age of walking and done everything together. It was a bond of brothers that no one could break. Or so it was thought. But it had appeared like that. And there had been another part of the story. Ryan's younger sister. They flirted outrageously, he taught her to party, to have fun, everything of course with her brother around. They never went further, but it was fun. And neither Jamie or the sister admitted to wanting more with each other, because of Ryan.

And then it changed. One day Jamie just disappeared. Upon speaking to his father it turned out that he'd joined the army and left. Without anyone but his father knowing. He never told Ryan. He never told her.

Fast forward a few years and they've finally moved on. Ryan had hated Jamie for just leaving and she had been heartbroken. But Jamie had had his reasons. He'd been away for six years and had no contact with anyone over that time except his father. He'd cut them out of his life like they were nothing, it seemed. But soon news passed around the small town they lived in that Jamie was due home in the coming months. It had turned out that he'd been seriously injured in service and now discharged from the army.

He was reluctant to come home, but he did. And boy had things changed.

---

So, with this I want to do a slice of real life with big character development. When Jamie leaves, he's eighteen. When he returns he's 24. I would like to play Jamie as I am real interested to see how he changes over the time, especially with his injuries which have changed his own life and will develop him in the RP. So, that leaves me looking for the female character. I consider myself to a casual to advanced writer and would love someone that could match up. :D

So, I'm going to keep this short and see who catches <3
Bump!
I would be interested in this :)
1. Jamison Andrews was in love with his best friend's little sister. They flirted none stop, mainly upset the brother in a jokey way. But neither of them realised that the other actually liked them. Neither of them had broached the subject or let things get too carried away. The brother and him had been best friends for almost two decades. Nothing could have destroyed it. Well, almost nothing. Jamison suddenly disappeared one night. It turned out that he'd signed up for the army and left without a goodbye. His father had no idea why he left without goodbye, but he had his theories. She came by every day to Jamie's house to make sure he was okay. But he never made contact with her in any letters he sent home. Years passed and things changed. Life moved on. She stopped visiting Jamie's home and her life moved on. She got a boyfriend, a rich man from England and after three years of being with him, they were engaged. And then finally Jamie is coming home. Injured badly in the line of duty, he's discharged to recover. Hoping things will be the same as when he left seven years before, he's not shocked to find out they have. But he knows one thing. He still loves his best friend's little sister. Even when her brother doesn't forgive him for leaving. She might have, but still has moved on and is marrying another man. Can things ever get back on track? Has he lost her forever.

In this rp idea I'm looking for someone to play the sister :) It is a high casual/advanced idea and I really want to focus on the character development and dealing with the life changes and whether friendships and relationships can ever get back on track when trust was severely broken.

2. There relationship had been perfect in the beginning. They had married young and tried for a family straight away but had no success. Five years later they stopped trying, accepting the fact that something was wrong. It was when the relationship started to go downhill. He started staying at work longer, she got absorbed in her interests. Finally though, she was pregnant and Paige thought that would be the end to their troubles. But still he was working later and later, spending more time at the office and using the pregnancy as an excuse. Babies were expensive and she wasn't working. Even once the baby had come, he was still working and the relationship was falling apart. He was the love of her life. She didn't want things to fall apart, and was trying her hardest to keep the family together. It didn't help that her mother didn't like her husband and wanted her daughter to leave him. Nor did it help that she got pregnant when they were rarely intimate. Can their marriage be saved?

Again, with this idea I would really like the rp to be based on sorting out a broken marriage to see if love could be found once again. I am looking to play either character in this, and though I named the girl Paige in that intro, that can change :)

3. This is a fantasy based RP that I did with a bit of success a few years back. Sadly it didn't last.

Katie Lenshaw worked in a library. She was a bookworm through and through. But that's what her fiance loved about her. Even though sometimes he hated that she got too absorbed in books. And she loved Mark, despite him being a joker. They seemed to fit perfectly together. One night, while the library was empty before closing, Katie found a book that was not written in English, intrigued, she flicked through it while waiting for closing time. Afterwards she was still curious so checked it out to take home. Still reading it as she walked back on a cold winter's night, she tried to say some of the words inside. Finally managed to say a sentence. And that is the last she remembers.

When she wakes up, she's in the middle of a field, in the blazing sun. At first she thinks that she's asleep and dreaming, or that Mark is playing a big trick on her. But as time goes on, she starts to wonder if she really is in another world. The reality is that she is. What she said transported her to a world that looks very much like a medieval England. No cars or technology, kings and queens and knights. Oh, and dragons, mythical creatures and magic. Katie also realises that the book she was reading, never followed her. Now she needs to find it if she wants to get back home. But what to the people of this land think of a woman dressed in materials that have never been seen, and talks differently to a commoner of this land? Who screams at the sight of a dragon? And what happens when she's so focused on leaving, but starts to enjoy the land and maybe even a person? If the opportunity arose, would she want to go home?

This is an advanced idea where I'd like someone that can work with me on the plot and characters. Of course there will be two main characters, Katie, my character, and your character, which would be the main male. And then all the other characters that can come out of this. :D

4. She was on a fishing boat trip with her family when tragedy struck. The boat was sinking and then she was in the water, struggling to keep above the water in a storm and fighting to try and keep with the family. Exhausted, finally, and split from the family, she lost consciousness. When she comes around she's washed up on a beach. Just her. Injured and alone, she stays there in hope of finding help before losing consciousness again.

During the time she's unconscious, a young tribesman finds her and takes her back to his tribe to help her. The Island is small and undiscovered. It has no technology and live in harmony with the forest and with the animals. Of course they know of the humans outside and what life is like and because of that they have chosen to live a separate life to all of that. Only a few of the older tribesmen and women know how to speak English. The younger generation do not. And some don't agree that she should be here in case other humans follow.

So what happens when she wakes up and she's treated like a prisoner? Can she be accepted into a tribe that is nothing like her world, but she's willing to learn about?

I want to play the girl in this role as well as some tribes characters too. I think this would be amazing to develop and would like it to be an advanced RP heavily involved on the character development.

5. This one is completely different to what I normally do, but was my first ever RP character. It's a mixture of modern and fantasy. In a world where magic exists with normal humans as well as all kinds of mythical creatures and supernatural beings. Ryleigh, a young girl suddenly appears from nowhere running into your character. She is anywhere between the age of five and ten. She's covered in blood and dirt and looks like she hasn't been cared for in months. She's running from something, but won't say who or what, afraid of what they would say. It turns out though, that she's magic. And the people hunting her are people wanting to use her magic for evil. They need her and her twin together to use the magic to it's full potential. They have one girl already. All they need is the other. And they were close to having her, before she escaped. It came at a cost though. Escaping had her kill all the people in her village. The people she loved, the people who were friends and family. And now she's trying to hide from them and survive on her own.

What happens? That's for us to decide. Again, advanced RP with multiple characters and heavy character development :)
Savannah Anderson's father is a bad bad egg. Fuelled by greed and knowledge, he has been doing a lot of secret and bad things, and has a duel identity that no one else knows about. Meanwhile, people are disappearing all over the country and appearing dead months later. Their bodies are almost un-identifiable, due to being put in acid to get rid of forensic evidence, the police's theory is that whoever is behind this is using humans to test things they shouldn't be. But they have no idea who is behind it. The only clue they have is that 'they've' been dubbed Shadow. It's all any witnesses have seen.

So where do characters, heroes and powers come into this story?

Two people who are acquaintances. One girl, one guy. How do they know each other? Through school. He likes to tease her because she acts like an airhead. Her interests, boys. Savannah is the daughter of a rich CEO and seems to play the part well. She doesn't help herself by making stupid comments and acting shallow, but there is a brain and a heart inside her when she's on her own and not with a crowd of girls.

Him. Well, this is the character I'm looking for someone to play. He has two identities himself. He has a hidden power that only he knows about and he's determined to find out who is behind the many deaths in the city. He might be a young adult (characters I plan to be at university and around 20-22). His power can be up to you. You have complete creative freedom of course.

Now, on to what I'm looking for:

The main thing is the character interactions. I really want them to have a tense relationship at the start, kind of like how an older brother would tease an older sister. Then with the plot and story getting darker, they grow closer and more trustful. Romance could happen between them, it might not. We'd have to see how the chemistry went. And how the story goes. But hopefully you get the picture.

Grammar and writing wise. Now, I'm not a grammar nazi. I can write a lot, I can write a little, I'm looking for at least 2-3 paragraphs in each post or more, depending on what the scene is. If it happens to be short because all they're doing is conversing, understandable.

Posting. I can post at least once a day. I work full time in the day so can't post at work. But can post in the morning and of the evening, GMT time. I understand people have social lives though and if you can't post every day then that's fine. I can wait no matter how excited I am for someone to post. Just let me know if you can't post for a few days or can't/don't want to continue.

And I think this is the last one. Plot, create more characters, and discuss! I am friendly and welcome players to introduce other characters, plots and stories with me. I love character development and OOC chat. I play multiple characters, male and female, (in this story I just want to play the female role rather than the male).

And this is the last thing, I am 26, so looking for players that are over 18 that can deal with mature themes and stories. I also want to clear up (as I've seen this on other sites) that I don't care if my partner is male or female in person. I just want someone to write with and have fun with.

So that is it. Feel free to send me a message and see if we can work something out. I also have more plots for this story to discuss, and hopefully hear some ideas from you too. :)

"I think that's quite unfair, you know, having to take a bullet for me. Yes, I want to keep my life, I don't want to die, but your life isn't less important than mine. Your life is important too. Why did you become a bodyguard anyway?" She asked curiously still digging into her ice cream. When he mentioned that he could cook, her ears pricked up with interest.

"Cook something for me then. We have everything you can imagine. Let's see what you can make." She grinned, stopping the microwave. She could still eat the burgers. Ryleigh had always had an amazing appetite for food. She could stuff her face and nothing would be added to her hips, which she thought was great. She had meat to her bones, but wasn't fat or chubby, the only thing she didn't like about her figure was that it seemed to flat and squarish.

When he mentioned reading, Ryleigh knew what he meant. When she'd first fallen in love with books, her parents had hated it and tried to stop her. They thought she had better time on her hands for business and modelling. In the end, Ryleigh had gone to libraries to get her fix of books. And after a long battle, her parents had given up on their daughter. "Read mine. I have all the classics. And your dad isn't going to be here to say you can't. Be a rebel." She smirked.

When Ryleigh saw Matthias, she sighed. Great, even at two in the morning, she wasn't going to get a break from him. He was probably monitoring her at all hours. "I don't need babysitting all the time. No one is going to be up at this hour trying to kill me." She told him warily. "And yes, I can't sleep. And I'm hungry. I forgot to eat at dinner."

She was a girl that had a healthy appetite and didn't care what she ate. She was no means fat, but she had meat to her bones rather than being stick thin like her mother, who had tried to convince Ryleigh that she had to be the same, and failed. As she got to the fridge, she took out some juice, some burgers that needed to be reheated and lastly, moved to the freezer and took out her ice cream for dessert.

"Want anything to eat?" She asked as she put the burgers in the microwave and started to scoop the ice cream out with a spoon eating it while she waited. "I've decided on another rule. You are way too serious. You need to be a bit more relaxed. I can't deal with another serious person around me. What do you do for fun?"

If she had to put up with Matt being around, she decided that she might as well get to know him and try to be friendly with the man. He had saved her life, and though hiding the body had been wrong, maybe he'd had a good reason, she had eventually reasoned with herself. She needed to get over that. And this was how to.

Ryleigh was trying her best to avoid thinking about the body or anything related to it and then Matt walked in and brought the topic up. She hated that. Now she was thinking of the body that he'd hidden. How could she have just let him do that. Maybe she could still call the police and tell them anyway. Her safety was in danger... But Matt had been hired to protect her.

"I don't need to talk about it. And I don't want to. I have studying to do. And the only people I'd want to talk about it with would be the police. What you did was wrong - hiding the body. I don't agree with it, and if it hasn't been found once I'm out of danger, then I will be telling the police." Ryleigh told Matt before focusing back on her studies.

She thought she could handle not talking about it, but Ryleigh was a fragile creature. And was just trying to stop herself from panicking over the whole situation by not thinking about it. If she thought about it, she'd panic. So instead she let Matt leave, and then got herself ready for bed once she'd spent an hour cleaning up her room, both her books and her clothes from earlier, until everything was perfect.

In the middle of the night, around 3am, Ryleigh was woken by nightmares. Sitting up in bed she sighed when she realised she was safe before getting out of bed and leaving her room. Her intended destination was the kitchen for a midnight snack.
