Hi, I love mecha anime, games, and SRW specifically and am a long-time RPer here on the guild so I was wondering if you have room and also if it'd be acceptable to have something sort of G Gundam inspired, perhaps a prototype motion capture piloting system with a martial artist as its pilot? I love the Super subgenre of mecha above and beyond what's probably reasonable but I enjoy Real Robots as well, so a Martial Arts-based Super Robot would be my eventual goal.
Feel free to install a motion capture piloting system onto a mecha if it fits your character. The Valsione uses one, after all, and even if it's a few years away, there's the G-Bankaran.
Incidentally, if you guys wanna start working on characters before I post the OOC up in hopefully an hour (or a bit more), here's a general template.

Hmmm, so considering something along the lines of a Grungust or Mazinger (obviously not literally Mazinger in this case), with the intent that it will eventually be upgraded to something like DyGenGuard or Mazinkaiser...
...Mostly because I don't think I'll be able to get away with something along the lines of Compatikaiser as much as I'd love to go full super robot with this. XD
Mohali Heavy Industries hasn't planned out their Armoured Walkers at this point in time either, so Grungust types seem like your alley versus Obari animation.

Philia was not particularly certain on whether or not damaging the windows of one of the most important Christian buildings in Austria would be considered to be an attack on the Roman Catholic Church's neutrality, but whether or not it was, the first course of action she undertook upon their entrance into the building was to rapidly repair the shattered window with her alchemy, weaving the glass back into the pane as if they had never been present, leaving no physical evidence of their trespass.
"There were better methods," was her mental response to her Servant, but beyond that, there was no more for her to say on the topic of the window. While she did not agree with breaking windows, there was no way to change what had occurred. They within the Church now. In the future however, it would likely be for the better that they did not commit any further acts of unnecessary vandalism.
The journey down into the cathedral's interior was a quiet one, but Philia found herself taking in the appearance of everything around her as they made their way down. It was a beautifully ornate building, particularly the sculptures and stained glass windows that appeared upon their arrival at the main basilica-structure, but none of it was exactly important to her. Her keen observations of her surroundings were mostly for strategic and tactical purposes; any other impressions she held towards their aesthetic value were not at the forefront of her mind.
The nun and likely representative, on the other hand, was.
"We are not thieves," Philia replied immediately, distinctly noting that Archer had materialised beside her. If the lack of reaction towards the strange appearance of her Servant was any indication, then it was very likely that the member of the cloth before them was a representative of the Church who was familiar with the concept of Heaven's Feel. "We are here as participants in the ritual being performed in this city."
The homunculus was direct and straight to the point. There was no need for her to mince words or pretend anything. Archer had already been witnessed by the nun, and if the mention of another pair having been present earlier, it was possible that other participants in the ritual had contacted the Church representative as well.
Thus, she would do the same.

Can we do something like having your character start off with a normal mecha and then switch to another mecha as an upgrade later on? Or are we sticking with the starting mecha all the way though?

I see, I'd be fine with a Gespenst or Huckebein though I'd definitely prefer a Lion.
