Bio

Gay, he/him, Autistic

I’m Crimson Flame and I’m addicted to RPing. But sometimes ADHD kicks in, and it takes me longer to reply to things than it should. If I’m taking too long to respond, feel free to say something. Just don’t be rude about it.

There are a bunch of RPs I like. PokĂ©mon, Digimon, Fantasy, Superhero, it would take too long to list them all. I’m not a fan of Horror or Apocalypse settings though.

I have a particular type of character I like making. Look through my Character Sheet thread, and see if you notice what a lot of my characters have in common.

If I recall correctly, I had the physics teacher in that one...

Omg, you were in that?

Well, this is embarrassing.
The character I have an mind is from an RP that died shortly after her first transformation.

She’s a high school Art Teacher, and has Art themed powers

I have to modify her to this RP, but hopefully it will work!
Unbelievable. Everyone else called Sabriel on his obnoxiousness and all he could do was make rude gestures. No apology, no explanation on why he did it, nothing useful. He just went ahead and got into an argument with the alien about its speech patterns. Pine didn’t like Rubber. Sure, he personally wasn’t the biggest fan of humanity either. But something about this thing’s attitude just rubbed him the wrong way.

“Magnum? Really? You’re insult falls flat. Magnum actually sounds impressive.” Pine remarked with a sigh, shaking his head in disbelief. “I suppose complaining about nicknames is futile anyway. I’ve been dubbed everything from Jolly Green Giant to Lorax.” Despite his grumbling, Pine couldn’t deny he found Sabriel attractive
He didn’t know why. Sabriel is nothing like Evan, before he betrayed him. Maybe that had something to do with it.

Pine flopped next to Casey on the couch. “I would love to see someone put them on mute too. Got any plants handy?”
I didn’t have a preference either way, so this is fine.
Works for me.

I’m in that age group. Lol.

I see middle age, and think 40s. xD
I might be interested

How old you mean when you say middle age?
Being part plant, Pine could get by on very little sleep. That did not make the loud noises any less obnoxious.

As the disruptive noise echoed through the hallways, jolting Pine awake, he groaned and rubbed his eyes. The thin walls of his room did little to muffle Sabriel’s shouting. Pine sat up in bed, his hair tousled and his expression a mixture of annoyance and fatigue. “Ugh, not again,” he muttered to himself, pushing the covers aside and swinging his legs over the edge of the bed.

With a sigh, Pine got out of his bed and made his way to the door. As he stepped out into the hallway, he could hear the guards already attempting to intervene, but he knew from experience that Sabriel was not easily deterred.

Running a hand through his hair, Pine approached the scene. He glanced at the guards, nodding in their direction, before focusing his attention on Sabriel.

“Sabriel, do you have any idea what time it is?” Pine called out, his voice carrying a hint of irritation. “You couldn’t have at least waited for the sun to be up?”
Another person finally!

Milo vehemently denied touching an Ursa Minor. Chesi narrowed her eyes. She would accept that for the time being, but she still thought this kid was strange. “I’m watching you
”

Conner wasn’t paying attention to his dolphin companion call out Milo. He was busy studying David. He gets wings, he gets a cool sword, and no struggle with magic at all. David always gets everything. It wasn’t fair.

“Yeah, I hate Denali.” Chesi whispered. “She thinks she’s so holy because she controls the element of light. She’s a self righteous bitch if you ask me.”

An annoyed expression crossed Conner’s features. “I guess
But don’t worry about her. You’ve got me. We’ll show both of them what real power looks like!”

“Both of them? Is somebody jealous?” Chesi teased.

Conner rolled his eyes. “No
I just want to prove myself. That’s all
”

In the background, both Eli and Noah hadn’t transformed. In fact, Noah threw his little dragon friend at the bears face. That didn’t help at all.

“Guess it’s up to me
” Conner muttered. He raised his arm with the trident in his hand, and thought of a happier memory. He thought about surfing on the beach, riding the waves. Instantly, a wave of water appeared beneath him. Conner rode the wave. “Surfs up dudes!”

While riding the wave, he heard Eli shouting to aim for the snout. Conner aimed the tip of his trident directly at the bear’s snout.

The wave crashed into the bear with incredible force, sending it stumbling backward with a loud roar of pain.

As the wave subsided and the Ursa Major lay stunned on the ground, Conner hopped off, and landed gracefully. He proudly raised his trident high. “Tridents are better than swords, eh Davey?” He gloated.

“Yes yes, that was very nice.” Chesi said. “Although, you need a little more control. You could have caused a lot of collateral damage. I’m sure some of your friends got wet from that attack.”

Conner rubbed the back of his head and laughed sheepishly.

You’ll never be good enough. Conner heard in his head. He raised an eyebrow, wondering where that voice was coming from, but no one responded, so Conner shook it off.

“Alright, most of you did well
” Chesi declared, glaring at Noah and Eli who didn’t transform. “But you all have a lot to learn if you want to have any hope of saving our realm, and getting back to yours.”

She then looked at the unconscious Ursa Major. “It’s such a shame. Ursa Major are usually gentle creatures. Guardians of Celestial balance in our world. The only thing that would drive them to violence would be their young being threatened
or they have been corrupted by a dark force
That is the threat you face children. A dark entity has been unleashed, and threatens to consume and corrupt the magic of this realm. This corruption is spreading throughout Arcanum, endangering not only it’s inhabitants but the very fabric of magic that sustains us. The darkness has likely corrupted this poor creature
It has the ability to corrupt beings by amplifying their darkest tendencies and desires, bringing out the worst parts of themselves. Beings under the influence of this corruption act in ways that are harmful to themselves and others. I implore all of you to be on your guard, and don’t give in to temptation.”

But Conner wasn’t listening. He was still hearing that damn voice in his head. You’re only a burden to them. They don’t care about you at all.

“Anyway, I think it’s time we take you lot into the city.”

And

Viktor said something about one team being the infiltration squad, and one team being the distraction squad. Zach was quick to volunteer to be on the distraction squad. “Distractions are my specialty! I’m sure me and Lightning Lass over there can give them a show they won’t forget!” Zach said, gesturing to Cora.

”Yeah, I think we can.” Behind her helmet, Cora grinned at the prospect of some super powered mischief. ”What’re we thinkin’ magic tornado? Thunderstorm? Maybe you make some magic portals and I throw lightning bolts through ‘em?”

Zach’s eyes went wide with excitement. “All of it! Throw everything we got! It’ll be so epic, these goons won’t know what hit ‘em! Etativel” He started hovering in the air, and waving his wand in circles. “Mrots cigam!” Purple storm clouds started to gather, and bolts of purple magic started to strike the ground.

”Oooohhhh yeah. Just watch your eyes, wizard boy.” Cora took a running start and leapt off the ground, propelled into the sky once more by her powers. She weaves through the storm clouds made by Zach’s magic. The lightning strikes didn’t scare her- after all, nothing but her own powers could electrocute her. So in the chaos of the storm, and began to rain down her own bolts of vibrant, neon teal lightning.

The concussive sounds of thunder and the blinding bursts of metahuman lightning lit the swamp up like a Christmas tree.

Zach started laughing like a madman as the goons standing guard outside were panicking at the chaos that was unfolding. “Congratulations lovely people. You get a private spectacle from Zatara the Great and his assistant Stormcaller. Lucky you!”

Cora wasn’t aiming for anything in particular, since if she did, it might give the goons a chance to triangulate where she was through the clouds. Rather, she just floated to and from one cloud to the next, raining them down indiscriminately along the walkways they were using to stay dry. They could take a shot, but they’d risk being too immobile to get blasted.

Zach however did take a shot. He made no attempts to stay hidden, and fired blobs of purple magic at goons that came his way. “Aw
 is that
the best you got?” Zach taunted in between gasps for breath. Doing this magical hurricane was taking a lot of magic, and it was taking it’s toll. He started getting red in the face.
