That seems reasonable! :D
Instead of looking for habitable worlds, surveying mechanoids could instead use that action to look for resource rich environments.

Yeah, but I meant in terms of functions? English isn't my native language and, while I do have a particularly good comprehension of it, I'm almost completely clueless when it comes to ship designations, and have almost no idea what exactly those names signify... XD

By the way, what exactly do the various spaceship classes represent, in terms of size/functions?
(Destroyers, Freighters, Light Cruisers, Heavy Cruisers, Battleships and Carriers...)

Perhaps you could explain it as their leader caste being incapable of reproduction due to genetic deterioration?
That way you could have large armies of cloned soldiers and a dying species at the same time.

Yeah, that's sort of the idea I got when I read that.... :D
They sound particularly awesome, tbh. I wonder what they will look like.
And I actually sort of like the idea of a sterile vestigial species going for one last blaze of glory before oblivion.

PS: Just added Languages, Communication and updated their civilisation wide stats slightly to more appropriate levels. Also made changes in the Nect phylum, formerly named "Incorporeals". I'll probably add a description of their solar system and maybe finish up the races before calling it a night.

Well, I can't say for certain, but I am pretty sure that Cryptiic is still in. I saw them active a few hours ago and, from what I know of their personality, they seem like the kind of person to remain interested. They might have some ideas for a collaborative intro post as well, unless I am mistaken. I'm not entirely sure though, I don't really know them that well and they are a little weird and creepy. For all we know they could be reading this right now... o_o

((Also, perhaps we could organize some sort of experimental democratically run RP? We could ask Ontos for the main plot points they had intended for the story, then manage the progression ourselves as we go?
Seems like it could be a lot of fun.... :D))

Hrm... Sadly I think I'll have to finish my application tomorrow, I'm profoundly exhausted today due to real life events...
Already got a large portion written out, I just need to add some finishing touches.
