Bio

Hi.

I'm an Interdiscplinary BA, searching for a job in the current market, and this site has been my introduction to role-play. I prefer medieval and/or sci-fi roleplays and am a fan of Star Trek, Star Wars, RWBY, Fire Emblem Awakening, Superheroes, and Fairy Tail.

Gwyneria

"Indeed..." She peered over his shoulder to look over the map. "Currently, we seem to be here...At the bottom of the spiral staircase between the main dungeons and the area you fell in." Her finger pointed to the bottom of the map's spiral pattern, below a larger area to the north and what seemed to be a pit to the south, both areas the slaves knew full well. "The only way back up to the upper level seems to be these stairs. We know we already took care of some these guards in the first room, though we don't know how often that position is rotated."
Gwyneria

Gwyneria stilled a bit in surprise at Cicero's hug, then finished healing Dalious and returned it as she could. "As I am you. Then swiftly looked to see the injury. "Especially with how you keep managing to injure yourself. She placed her hands over the wound and started to heal what she could, thankful that Dalious hadn't been as much on the verge of death as he'd seemed.

Her touch instantly healed the wound, thankfully also minor. She then listened to the others before glancing over to check if the newcomer, Fyr, was injured. She'd need to work to spare herself some for what might come ahead, but she could still take care of what she could. She nodded at Fyr's greeting. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance.

Fyr would notice that her feet were clad in finely made, light, but travel-worn boots in the style of the same frozen land he called home, though of high quality make.

"Yes...Of a sort." She moved ahead of Ashe and knelt by him. "He helped us against some, former crew of his. He then sailed off without us though. Her hands glowed as she started healing the worst of the wounds. "This is far from the sea...How did he end up here?"

She then shook her head. Focus. They could gather answers like that later.

She leant by Dalious. "Cicero was with you? Where?
@Timemaster

Gwyneria solemnly nodded, grasping the arrowhead tightly. "I will."

As they descended down the stairs though, a commotion could be heard from below. A figure rested down at the foot of the stairs.

Gwyneria's eyes widened. "Dalious?!

@Timemaster

Gwyn blinked, then swiftly fake struggled to play along.

The guard nodded approvingly. "She would at that. Still, have to get her checked in with the other prisoners. Go ahead and meet up with Damian at the dungeon."

New doors to the left of Gwyn and Ashe opened, revealing two other guards and a long flight of stairs downward.

Gwyn swallowed a gasp. The way to Cicero...
@Timemaster

Gwyn smiled. "You'd have to make sure there was plenty of water around." Then looked further down and froze.

Ahead of them was another room with another door to a room further on and a stairway the seemed to head downward.

In front of the doors though were two guards, both staring straight at them...

Gwyn glanced back at Ashe.

One of the guards stepped forward. "Who goes there?"
@Timemaster

Gwyn's brow furrowed in concentration as she prepared her spell, waiting for Ashe to press down on the lever far enough. Wait for it...Soon as the weight was balanced right, Gwyn froze it fast. The door opened up behind the lever arm. "Let's go!" Then rushed for it, sure her companion would follow right behind.
@Timemaster

She considered Ashe's words well. "Wind is also not an expertise...But I do have options that could work." She focused around the room, trying to feel the barest hint of moisture. But the air was too arid. Sweat though had built up on her brow as the cave warmed with the rising sun. And with the water in their packs...

"I can summon ice. Likely not enough to balance the weight, but I could follow through on your wood projectile idea...Or if you pressed down on the lever, I could freeze the weight in the proper place."
@Timemaster

"Right." Gwyn got up then started looking around for the exact mechanism on the door as well, examining the out stretched arm with it's cup in particular.

Together, the two found that the lever in the arm ran down the arm to the torso that proved to be hollow. A narrow crack Gwyneria found within the figure showed a weight dangling slightly upward. If it was completed balanced, it would hit another mechanism that would lift the door. If the weight raised or lowered too far, the mechanism seemed to connect to the floor underneath them, mechanisms Ashe found that seemed prepared to flip the floor, which likely wouldn't do well.

Gwyneria summarized her findings then hummed. "This certainly leaves little room for error.
@Timemaster

"I see." She responded. That did make sense to an extent. There was definitely a generally hostile attitude towards demonfolk. Even Cicero sometimes showed one, though with how that last arena fight had gone...

After Ashe's comment about the threshold though, she frowned. "There's no salt water here though. It would take quite a trek to get any here as well. Besides, salt water is not at the 'threshold' of the ocean..." Then she stooped down, letting some of the sand run through her slightly trembling fingers. "But sand..."
