Yep, I decided I'm going with the first one, getting right into the action sounds fun. Who wants to die with a catgirl?

My thought was we build groups based around certain themes. The only one I came up with is a "beast one" like my character the catgirl, Yamada the kitsune, and uh... Tori the beast tamer.  

@VitaVitaAR I got a feeling Ranca the Wannabe Hero is going to get along with her. You know because of the whole justice thing. 

Tiny groups are for sure the best way to do this, but a part of me still wants to relish in the chaos that will come from us all being lumped together. 

Well I say we got a healthy roster of weirdos, about when are we going to get started?

I see no reason why not, at least from the standpoint of having a character closely related to animals. As for if its allowed... well I can't say, the GM's word is law, not mine. 

Oh yeah I imagine we're going to be broken up into smaller groups, although the idea of our ragtag warband wandering the countryside does sound fun. I mean can you imagine the kind of confused looks a group like this would get?

Also she isn't just a catgirl, she used to be a guy who got really really bored with life and decided on a whim to become a catgirl because why not. 

Character Concept: "A man turned catgirl because life is too short to be serious all the time."
Name: Sonia Falkren
Gender: Female
Background: Seeing as the last life doesn't matter anymore, neither does his former name so instead he'll be known as "Mr. A" This Mr. A didn't lead a terribly exciting life, actually his life was anything but that in every sense of the word. Mr. A was just a simple salaryman who worked from nine to five every day of the week and Mr. A didn't have much to show for the mind numbing daily grind. He was unmarried with no children, and no real property to speak of, in all honestly Mr. A quite literally had nothing. In the end death didn't have much of an effect on the poor man, as far as Mr. A was concerned he was already gone. Now how did he die? Well... he choked to death on a poorly chewed piece of food during dinner, and seeing as no one was around to save him, you could say the rest was history. Then something for once happened, he was presented with something amazing, he of course was given a chance at a new life. As Mr. A stared at the empty character sheet a single spontaneous thought came to him.

"Fuck it, I'm going to be a catgirl." 

Then so it was, Mr. A became Sonia the Catgirl. He... or she as it was now, was determined to actually make something of hi- her new existence, to make it worthwhile, to basically make up for her absolutely bland years as a boring human. She looked forward to the new world. It was going to be fun.

Martial Arts: 
Bullrush: A very simple Technique that grants a very temporary boost to strength and speed.
Rend: A purely offensive Technique that increases weapon penetration through raw power for a single strike. 
Bulwark: On the flip side, this is a purely defensive Technique that temporarily improves defensive prowess.  

Thaumaturgy: Nothing.

Gift: And again nothing.
