The Exorcist
Sonia wasn't like that dense wrestler, she knew that things were falling apart around them, and she had a pretty good idea how this was going to end. The ghost had got her good, even if it wasn't anything mortal she was still loosing blood, and that seriously scared her. Dammit, in a previous life she was nothing more than an office worker, hell she wasn't even a
she, and here she was trying to play warrior. The reality hit her hard, she knew nothing about combat, how to properly wield a sword, how to actually defense herself, and above all else how to kill a ghost. For what seemed like forever Sonia couldn't do anything other than stare at the extremely slow growing pool of blood at her feet, all sort of thoughts swarming her mind.
She really wasn't cut out for this.
The thing was, however, Rayo a man who she'd pinned as a thickheaded idiot was still going at it, he seemed perfectly willing to continue flailing about even though the situation was all too dire. Sonia had to wonder, what did he have that she didn't? The catgirl forced down a few deep breaths, she still had to fight this out it seemed, other than death there was no way out, and the more she thought about it the more she didn't exactly feel like dying. Again.
Already she had her eyes on the sword Orion dropped, you know before the boy became some hellish wolf beast that would probably soon turn on them, in the struggle she lost track of her old weapon, but considering she had something new to use that didn't matter as much. While the ghost was hopefully fully occupied by Orion the Wolf, Sonia scrambled to take hold of the blade. Of course she thought about what clearly could go wrong by taking the ghost's sword, there weren't any other options she just had to take the risk, and maybe for once doing something won't literately come back to bite her in the ass. For the moment she was armed again, but by this point she was prepared to have a curse or something placed on her, guess she'll have to deal with the consequences later.
Back to the battle on hand, Sonia carefully made her way to the front door and opened it. Long as she still had the chance she wanted to prepare an avenue of escape, if all else fails then maybe she could still run. The catgirl mentally steeled herself, either Orion or the ghost will eventually come after her, then when they do she'll have to be ready. Silently she readied
Rend, with a sharper blade it could actually deal some damage, the sword faintly glowed red showing the technique had the desired effect. She wasn't about to blindly throw herself into the melee, she'll wait for an opening.
