~~~Malus~~~
Everything was going according to plan. No rebel forces strong enough to launch another troublesome attack but most importantly, no more Zakarr as the thorn in his plan's backside. In fact, Malus was not sure of Zakarr's whereabouts or even fate for that matter. The only time he could think back to was Zakarr and Tremor's long winded fight that lasted for days. It was only the his own interference that the fight ended abruptly. Zakarr was a fool and a hopelessly confident warrior, but he was no idiot. He knew to face both Tremor, himself and a whole squad of super powered droids and deadly mercs would not bold well even for "Zakarr the Mighty" a title that made Malus laugh just from the mere thought. He knew the strengths of Zakarr too, a skilled warrior and a powerful Telekinetic Monk, an odd combination if he did say so himself. Vulka pretty much reminded him of his home; large stretches of ocean, grasslands and various jungles dotted in seemingly random places. Malus' mind quickly diverged to the current state of Xyklo V.
A barren waste, radiation littered the air, almost making it poisonous to breathe, his people forced to live in Atmosphereic sustaining domes just so they can survive. The jungles dying and withering away to nothing. The oceans becoming black and deadly. Malus despised how the government of his home acted towards the diseased nature of their planet, and he had a plan to solve it. He didn't care if it meant the destruction of Vulka, his people come first, he knew that Zakarr would do the same in his position. The Elevator was rather rusted down compared to his other ships and transport crafts. This used to be a Derelict Prison Ship, until Malus refurbished and retrofitted it to be his signature Prisoner transport vehicle. The dim lighting became more apparent the further down he went. As the doors slide open with a rather sharp creaking sound, Tremor stood as big as ever, and the rather small in comparison mercenaries by both his sides. The halls were rather dimly lit, showing a rusty red colour along the walls and floor of the prison. The Derelict prison was a far cry from the sleak, advanced and rather elegant design of his own flagship and even his transporters. "Sir, The majority of the rebels have been placed within their holding cells, we should not be having more trouble from them now" Tremor relayed the information he retrieved from Miasma back Malus, the mercenaries both adjusted their clothing and weaponry accordingly.
"Good, good. While we head into stage 2, I need Miasma to make sure no more rebels are out there planning anything. By the way, how's our guest?" Tremor nodded in accordance to the first part of the retort from Malus. "She's stabilizing, sir. She has taken the form of many wild creatures in hopes that we would release her. She's this way, sir." Tremor led Malus further through the corridor like maze. Doors closed tight offering an insight to the captured Vulkans. Somewhere rebels, clearly in their armor and royal guard clothing, others were civilians deemed spies working for the rebel force. In the end Malus did not care. The opened walled cell that Malus and Tremor reached was a specialised prison built to hold especially dangerous folk. A young woman was held in place by a special energized chain around both her wrists and ankles to hold her in place. She slowly lifted her head, a pale face and black hair, sharp blue eyes staring at Malus. "Good day, Noree, how are you feeling?" The young female prisoner sighed; a smirk crept across her face.
~~~Zakarr's Ship~~~
Zakarr turned to face the group of unlikely heroes, noticing the extra member. On cue, his men surrounded the individual. He waved his hand, lifting the man off the ground and placing him on his feet. “We have an unexpected guest.” Zakarr slowly marched, looking over the man he had recognised from his month long scouting. He smirked. “You can manipulate a particular element, Silicon I believe.” His stare locked on the man in question. “Any other unexpected guest would have their mind’s flayed to find out if they are an assassin or a spy, especially upon a vessel rooted in Vulkan Royalty such as this one.” Zakarr said with a tone of superiority. “However, you’ve just unwillingly volunteered for this mission, so I will make an exception, at ease men! Do not worry about this primitive, he’s an ally” Within a second of giving the command, his men stepped down, their rifles and battle ready stances all gone from the attention of the guest.
Red Dragon looked around the ship. He’d be lying if he said he was surprised to see the existence of aliens. He was already accustomed to seeing fantastical things and being involved in many supernatural situations involving him. “Well…this solves the question “Are we alone in the universe?” to put it bluntly” He retorted as he dusted himself off. Allison, Natasha and Ritchie seemed no worse than before. He noticed the new guy within the group, kept silent as Zakarr willingly “recruited” the man for the very mission everyone else were set on. To be honest, he did not know what to expect, or just how powerful this Malus will be. Skull-Man was up and ready just like any other day, curiously looking around the bridge like a hyperactive kid with the attention span of a fly. “Hey, do you guys have “Hooked on a Feeling?” at all? It would definitely make for a good space travel soundtrack. Natasha looked towards the Zakarr.”So are we going to be briefed on who we are exactly facing?” Zakarr nodded in response, the large computer screen flickering on thanks to the help of Zakarr’s second in command. “Now to the briefing of who we will be facing” Zakarr announced. The first was a video if a large heavily armoured Warrior fighting off wave after wave of what appeared to be Vulkan Soldiers. The large humanoid showcased surprising agility and feats of superhuman strength nothing like Red Dragon, Frost or Skull-Man had seen before. The Humanoid managed to lift up what could be a Vulkan tank with ease, before the video ended, followed by various snapshots of the warrior in question. “This is one of Malus’ henchmen at work. He goes by the name Tremor, he’s one of the most dangerous bounty hunters I’ve encountered. Strength and speed unlike anything you’ve probably seen. He’s cybernetically enhanced, and wears an expensive experimental suit created by Malus. He’s also my brother…” Both Frost and Red Dragon did not know how to respond.
Zakarr nodded to his second in command, the screen flickered again showing a rather strange humanoid. He looked like a mix between a lizard and an insect. “An Inscisian, by the name of Mias Ma. He’s Malus’ top assassin and scout. Skilled with various types of weaponry, fast and agile, he produces a various types of poisons from his body, be weary of him as he likes to use these poisons in the weapons he uses.” Zakarr explained as it then switched to final presentation. A video played once more, A large man, clad in red armor seemingly hovered through the battlefield. At his fingertips he threw varying bolts of energy; electrical, plasma, radiation, the seemingly ease of how he controlled the energy bolts showed a menacing and rather frightening power of control at the man’s fingertips. What catched Red Dragon’s eye was the use of a special force field of sorts trapping a group of Vulkans. Malus closed his palm slowly, causing the field itself to implode. Red Dragon’s pure green eyes widened. The video further showcased this man that he only assumed was Malus as a rather powerful individual in his own right. Red Dragon could only think just how far his power could stretch before being pushed to its limit. “Finally, Emperor Malus. He’s a Norisian, he wears the armor to sustain his enhancement into his powers of energy and matter manipulation. He rarely fights but when he’s pushed, he is no slouch in combat. I’ve fought him twice, I failed both times to take him out. His Alpha fields are what you need to watch out for. If you’re trapped, you are under his mercy. We cannot face him head first, we need to sabotage his hold on the planet, free my men and then launch one last offensive.” Zakarr explained to the group. “Right…that’s the end of the briefing, any questions?” Zakarr crossed his arms. Skull-Man propped his arm. “Can we listen to Hooked on a Feeling?” Red Dragon and Zakarr both sighed in unison.
