What is the point of an avatar? The way I see it, the only conceivable use for them is to be somewhere the deity is not, but sense Gods can teleport across the world or universe in an instant, even that ability is almost entirely useless except for in the most rare of situations.
I think you miss the point of the immortal game. Why does Logos wield a sword when be can just blink and obliterate foes. Why does Vestec need an army when his mere.presence can drive Any foe insane.
Because it would be cheating otherwise. It would be boring. And if immortality is a game then it had better be an entertaining one to play.
@Kho Literal massive discussion about what Love is before Lipfrasil was born. Logos gave them emotions amongst his creations. Even the Realta have them to an extent.

Fire and community. Cave paintings have been mentioned, and they have a rather decent language though words are often used in combination to create other words.

River - Winding Water
Ocean - Big Water
Get creative. Based on the climate, they used animals skins and pelt foe rudimentary clothing. Groups of humans range from as few at ten to as many as eighty. It's still early population numbers. Diet is still hunter gatherer, and they hunt with spears but my.next post has Ely introducing bows to them. The greatest threats atm to the humans are bears and mountain lions.
Ely is very active with all of them though, visiting each group from time to time. She participates in the hunts, the gathering, the cooking, the tanning, even the nurturing of children. She is seen as a good spirit by the humans and to speak ill of her to others or to act against is believed to being bad fortune on the tribe. She'll stay for a few weeks before moving onto the next group.
Two tribes could be in pitched battle, and the moment Ely set foot into view they would freeze, winner and loser, lest any harm came to her. She will never say anything against the fighting or make move to stop it, or support one side over another.
Logos is essentially unknown to them.

@Antarctic Termite I don't day this often: but that most recent post? That was sexy. Twisting Notte's mind for Elysium, finding Arcon in a way Logos could approve, even name dropping the Realta there. Thumbs up from me.

Genuinely curious: other than harass stone age hain, what exactly can you even do with that army? It seems like an invading force, but there's no target and no real foe to fight.
