@Deaddlife Can you tell me WTF was that post all about?

Where would be the fun in that? Talk of a battle with the "True Kingdom" using a strange new mortar ammunition. A code phrase from the only ship in the Drakun Navy straight to the office of the Arch-chancellor. Sounds of propaganda and miss-information to me, but what possible use could the Arch-chancellor have for a revealed code phrase?
A pair of "sealed" communiques found their way into the rumor mill of Drakun, from there whispers of what they held soon spread across the width and breadth of the Nation, perhaps further. Whether the rumors were true was a debate for many a social circle, as was the nature of the "leak".

FROM: Commander Randelrick of the 7th Mares
TO: Drakun High Military Command

6/8/XX : As ordered by our most enlightened Arch-chancellor all military operations began as of 0500 hours this morning just as the sun rose to blind the defending combatants. Accompanying Thunder-Men platoon despite worsening weather conditions was successful in entrapping enemy encampments using Blacksmiths Shot, however due to negligence on the part of the company grenadiers the mortars used were damaged. As of writing phases one through three have been cleared and phase four is under way. Honora cor aquilonem.

The Winter Raven still flies over the fleet. Returning to harbor.
Jack hated every part of being with these fanatics.

However all the papers in the world did not change the man, and this man as legal in appearance as he was held a certain undisguisable disdain for the “fanatics” as he saw them. He was good at hiding it, good at being ordinary but not so ordinary as to be questionable, but as with all strong natured cultures there were some aspects one could not falsify.

"Jack" was eventually released, he did have the appropriate papers and despite a stern questioning by The Civil Forces there was no evidence to prove he was anything more than a tradesman who held the Drakun culture in disdain.

The authorities of Drakun don't "know" he is a spy, but you made the point that he hated the people, going so far as to call them "fanatics". Being fanatics and having lived in an isolated culture for a few generations the people of Drakun tend to notice an outsiders in their midst, hence the suspicion and subsequent "questioning" of Jack. However for all of this the rule of law is above suspicion and fanaticism, I made reference to this with playwright being shielding from the arch-chancellors guards in my latest post and Jack was released without charges because of this.

For all the fuss I just wanted to make the point that spies within Drakun have their work cut out for them.
"Besides having basic morals I'm rather prohibited by my hippocratic oath. Let her be for now, she will either figure it out or the planet will take care of it."
Electricity from the stun guns quickly over-saturated Errald, arching wildly from his armor to his flesh to his sword and back to his armor. Immune to the massive burns caused by the free electrons as they raced through all his important fleshy bits the net result was most similar to a seizure, a violent, sword-wielding, electric seizure.

The shear force of the attack flung Errald back ten feet, his sword and armor smoking, spot-welded, and partially melted. His nervous system while not technically damaged felt that it should be. it took a moment to let his heart make sure it was in fact still beating, finding to his great relief that it was he retaliated with fire.
@6slyboy6 I'm not sure what you mean when you say my post is meta-gamey.

The first part is about the weather and effects of the opened boarder, mostly just for flavor text.

The second was a follow up to the intrigue conflict you started, stating that while my people being "fanatics" helps them notice outsiders but that their suspicions didn't equate to a proper defense, more just a hassle.

And the third part was a mobilization order against the "True Kingdom" which has been threatening the trade route.
Ashes began to blanket the arts district, Arch-chancellor Cyk holding his head in his hands as the opera house burned. So many things had gone wrong leading up to this point he could only keep track because of the small army of advisers and consultants standing in front of him.

To start the weather had been bad, but that was nothing new. In fact that was the only thing that was clear about the situation. There had been a traveling playwright that had just finished the theater circuit in the RNI, and had decided that Drakun would be his new stage. That was agreed upon by both the Intelligence Branch and The Civil Forces, but they were the only ones. As Arch-chancellor he had decided to make an example to his people and attend the foreigners performance. From there no one agreed on anything.

The end result was a small riot that had only been quelled by the need to put out the fires which they themselves had started. Playwright in question was currently being shielded from the Arch-chancellors own guards; having lost their composure during the satire.

"Jack" was eventually released, he did have the appropriate papers and despite a stern questioning by The Civil Forces there was no evidence to prove he was anything more than a tradesman who held the Drakun culture in disdain. A copy of his identification was added to the watch list but beyond encouraging him to leave Drakun little was to be done.

The Mares of Deliverance received their mobilization orders rather suddenly, divisions of the Thunder-Men where already dispatched to establish supply lines. Not bothering to hide their actions or to make a statement of intent the boarder of Drakun and "The True Kingdom" was soon lined with cavalry.
Sorry for not being on in like a week and a half, university has made a point of lulling me into a pattern and some where along the way this sorta slipped my mind.

EDIT: Right, just finished reading through the massive pair of posts and will be brewing a response to the weather, terrorism, new kingdom, eastern wind, constant espionage, growing tensions and internal issues of Drakun.

Second EDIT: Posted the first draft. See you in the morning.
Nathan watched as the new girl walked out of the camp, looking for a source of freshwater. Turning to Javier he asked' "This may be that fall I took talking but; is it just me or is the new girl acting strange? She doesn't seem to understand what we are doing here."
Right I fixed up my post and expanded on what I failed to say in the first place.

@6slyboy6The problem with me is that I don't feel tired mentally, I can be up three days straight and mentally I will feel exactly the same as if I had just woken up, even though I probably stopped making sense a long time ago.
