@Monochromatic Rainbow@Zombiedude101 Hay guys, planning on posting soon?
@Maxwell I actually have a song for Dorian, I think. When we get everyone figured out I'll probably eventually make a playlist for all the characters lmao. I'm terrible for that.

So we're steadily making progress. Unfortunately Kouki and I are on differing schedules but we're going to be done the reviews soon.
I feel like Lacey would be initially really uncomfortable around the main canon crew where they're at right now.

"These guys are heroes."

She'd be uncomfortable right up until she said something objectively blunt and it'd be like ripping off a bandaid. Her attitude would switch, she'd barrel on. If Lacey were to meet them when they were all the same age, she'd probably get along well with Maka. I don't think Maka would appreciate Lacey's tactlessness however.

While with the others, Lacey wouldn't stand for pre demon sword Tsubaki. It'd be a weird association with how she saw herself when she was friends with Vanessa Amsel. While she'd come to appreciate Tsubaki's apparent maturity after the fact.

Lacey would have fun speaking with the Thompson sisters. Swap hair styling tips with Liz while trying to spar with Patti. She'd be interested in their rough, scrappy street fighting style. With Kid she'd struggle to find something to talk about with him, though would sympathize with his nerotic episodes. He might like the shape of her soul buuuttt if they were to talk about some of his own objectives as a new grim reaper they could find some common ground.

With Black*Star she'd immediately admire his ridiculous perserverance. His totally unorthodox way of gaining power and strength.

I can see Lacey getting into a snarky low key debate with Soul, both able to pull out some barbs.

Need to think about how the twins would relate.

Drono Loyalty Mission Prologue

---

Dex, Bridge

Dex had barely heard Drono’s footfalls from where she sat at the helm, hadn’t moved since take off. Before getting out a hello he had leaned over Iosif’s chair turning the ship intercom on calling everyone up to the bridge. He looked like shit, what the fuck had he been doing the past two days? She squinted at him. When everyone filed in Drono began to speak and it immediately made her uncomfortable. It was like listening to a hollowed out Drono.

“I know I am usually the first to crack jokes and be inappropriate at times like this.” He said. “But I can’t now. If you read my earlier message, you know I am in a bad shape. It seems to be progressing at a more rapid pace, and soon, the deterioration of my nerves and spine will reach a critical point.

She didn’t pretend to know what he was feeling, but she felt anger boiling in the pit of her stomach it rumbled through her sub vocals when he mentioned what Yestin did to him. Her fists clenched.

Drono’s attitude right now was produced by fear. That much was evident.

Vellios brought up some good questions about the station, while Serena added her input supporting her ability to take care of Eclipse tech.

While Dex had personally dealt with Eclipse before, they were bastards and ballsy as a two bit thief with credit chit passcodes. They’d be tricky to fend off any of their hacking attempts individually, especially when they tried to ID them. She could fuck with them but not on eight varying fronts.

Tanya and Tonka made the obvious point of needing to be more prepared this time around, Dex nodded at them. “Abso-fucking-lutely. We have three weeks of travel time to make a solid plan A and plan B.

She pointed to Drono fiddling with his detonator, “If we’re going to be prepared we need to confirm what you know, get some more intel. For the record? This - ” She gestured at him vaguely. “-is making me uncomfortable. If taking on some Eclipse means fixing this then that’s enough incentive for me.

She had swiveled in her chair facing everyone, “Anyway, I’ll aim for some comm buoys on the way there to grab whatever information I need. I’ve dealt with Eclipse before. I’m sure I can fend off their bullshit hacking attempts, I can’t do it for everyone. Especially those with piss poor security. I can work on bolstering our security as a crew so we don’t register as blip on their radar, can’t be ID’d, and protect our own tech. Cover our tracks.

Serena I’ll need your help for crew wide security, I can dig for intel while we plan.” She leaned into her seat, audibly creaking. “Got some all nighters coming up with all this work to do. Worth it though.

Drono I’m going to need to steal you after this meeting to get any information you have. Anything and everything. What you’ve heard, seen, have in your files. Station layout, medical staff names and positions, everything.” She paused looking him in the eye, her mandibles flicking. “In between preparing for the Eclipse I can look for leads on Yestin. Where he’s operating and track him. Get some eyes on him. That fucker is going to be a problem, the sooner we deal with him the better.
Jillian shrugged off her disapproving companions after poking Zephyrus, “You’re welcome, I solved another puzzle. What would you lot do without your fearless leader?” The smug attitude came without restraint once again, she crossed her arms nodding. “We still have that keystone to find and our goron buddy, whatshisname. Hogsomethin’. Whatever, he must be pretty smart. Powerin' through all these puzzles. Gotta hand it to boulder brains.

She followed behind Naviela, with Lethe at the lead. She couldn’t help another chorus of giggles at Lethe’s wariness. It was curious blood magic at work, she had never really seen it happen up close before. She figured the others were just as clueless as her with the workings of the weird temple. Everything about the place was mystics, mirrors and memory. Well outside her understanding of things. Jillian was no stranger to dark corners of the world, she occupied a pretty spooky place herself in the Lost Woods. This sort of dread produced in the Sheikah temple was something else entirely. Made her skin itchy if she let her mind wander.

The bridge appeared good and solid this time, with correct timing they made it past the first scythe still on the back of her puppet. A little tricky but Jillian controlled the puppet with short commands.

The cackling voice from the riddle resounded seemingly from all sides, loud enough to give Jillian pause to take a look behind them. Zephyrus already danced around her before she fully registered the ensuing wave of wallmasters, the first scythe swung past her field of vision, briefly cutting her view of the hands for a second. Alarmingly they crossed the platform, scuttling above and below the bridge fully intent on their closest target. Jillian herself.

MOVE! MOVE! MOVE!” She shouted at the puppet slamming her fist against the back of the wooden head. Fear clenching her stomach, her eyes glued to the mass of shadowy hands. The puppet without proper guidance to time the swing of the second scythe, mechanically shot a line of twine forward weight shifting to move only for the return of the scythe to cut the line. The puppet’s support crumpled forward, sending Jillian off its shoulders with a clumsy tumble.

Oof!

She looked up in time pushing her hat out of her face to see her companions make it across to the other side. “Don’t leave me! Help! Please!” Terror turning the pitch of her shouting into screams.

Dozens of hands groped her legs, arms, head and anything they could find purchase with. Snatched away, Jillian disappeared into their clutches. The light from the lantern was smothered out by shadows. The noise of her scream went out with the light, sudden quiet.

---

Jillian panicked, her little heart racing. There was no up or down. She couldn’t see a thing, the hands felt cold and they were anything but gentle. She was forced to one pair of hands to the next. Pulling, pushing her unknowingly towards the little cell the wallmasters had dumped Felicia and Archer in. Unceremoniously she was flung through the ceiling, below where fiery skeletons lit up the area, thanks all due to Archer’s quick thinking.

Jillian hadn’t a second between panic attacks, the heat of the skeletons jolted the small skullkid into scrambling away as fast she could, hissing incoherently. Backing up directly against the bars of the cell, she automatically climbed up as far as she could go. Clinging for her life.
-bump-

Don't worry about needing to bump the thread :P, if you guys want something to talk about while you wait on the reviews. Who would your character get along with best from the canon line up?
@Captain Jenno @Furia @Baklava Jillian could potentially be snatched up, her puppet is gonna get tangled up in the scythes forcing her to abandon them. Could also be a lot of help with escaping the little hole the others are in. But then again, her and that lantern are a source of light for the right group. She's also all about evasion and moving quick if she decided to ditch the puppet.

But that's my two cents. C:

Oh and also, discord channel would be super cool. Same with new people.
@DearTricksterYou'll live!

Somehow, I will carry on. begrudgingly I mean what???

Forcing me to double post, goddamn
