Seeing actual bushfire footage looks straight out of Hell... It moves so quickly and so powerfully, literally the trees just ignite. You firefighters are absolute legends, but please, don't die.

Welcome to my little personal den of Hell! Sorry, sorry, I meant my personal profile. Same thing, right?

I'm a roleplayer, same as any around here. I've been doing it for about five years now, coming up to six in September. Its been quite the time, thinking back. I started out fresh as can be, understanding the basics of writing but never quite knowing how to become better, or become as great as those around me. In the end, I did the only thing I really knew at the time:

Write as much garbage as possible and hope for the best!

As you can see, that particular tactic fucking failed.
Jokes aside, I like to think I've developed a lot over the years, both as a writer and as a person. However, absolutely nothing can dissuade my weeaboo ways and supporting my OTP with all that I can freaking muster! If you haven't already guessed, said OTP is Chrom x Robin (Chrobin) from Fire Emblem: Awakening. Highly recommend the game, there's a reason (other than nintendo's cheapskate attitude) that it hasn't dropped in price, it's honestly the best place to start off in the series. And hey, maybe you'll end up addicted like me and want to buy every game on the 3DS like a fucking loony?

Speaking of loonies, the Fire Emblem Chrobin Comic Dub Project has recently finished, so for those of you who also appreciate the best ship in existence, I highly recommend it. Hell, even if you're not interested in that, I do highly recommend watching it for those into fantasy love stories. The quality improves drastically with each episode, so trust me when I say by the end of it you should be thoroughly impressed. It has helped motivate me in ways I can hardly describe with words, and so I thought the least I could do was put this out there. Maybe it's not for everyone, but I know it was the perfect thing for me.

"Do you think you can tip any of the scales in here?"
"Chrom, for the love of Naga, I'm thinking..."

"So I heard."

"There are better places
to take a nap than
on the ground, you know."

Maryvale had to rely on the princess to direct her to the armory, much to her displeasure. She wished she could be the one leading the charge but, Gods above, her memory was beyond terrible. Lenius had never taught her much outside of being a bodyguard. And yet, retainer or no, she knew she had to do something about her own weaknesses. One of these days she would shame her princess, and that was something Maryvale didn't want to do.
It was quite clear to Azymn what Maryvale was thinking, and the Marble Princess could only offer a comforting smile, which did help put her heart at ease. "You're fine the way you are now, Maryvale. You're more than capable as a warrior, and we are making progress in your learning, are we not?"
Maryvale nodded.
"It will take time, just like how you learned to master your strength. However, that time will come, and during which you will improve. There's no need to worry."

They continued traversing the palace hallways in silence, for the most part. The armory was close by now, near the entrance to the palace itself, so it was a fair distance from the princess' room. Yet before they could arrive, a familiar voice came to greet the two.
As well as the entirety of his guard, it would seem.
The princess gave a short bow of courtship, and Maryvale a soldier's bow. "Sir Myriavin, it is a pleasure indeed." She, too, returned the polite smile. Maryvale gave a short chuckle at his challenge, however refrained from speaking at the moment. "We are headed to the armory as of this moment, and will be meeting with the Grand Marshal immediately after. Come, walk with us."

"I wasn't allowed to use my magic, Sir. Marcus makes for a formidable foe, with or without his powers." Explained the Dark Knight, as she followed her princess closely, Illyarion presumably in tow. The armory was directly across from them now, the entrance right beside them. Maryvale noted the wails of a man -- presumably a peasant -- stating he had business with the princess, though didn't take as much note of it as Azymn did. Swiftly, the Marble Princess changed course towards the entrance of the palace, where a man, apparently a witch doctor, was being forcefully removed from palace grounds. She quite clearly saw the note in his hand, and fully redirected their course, at least for the moment.

"Guards, halt!" Her tone, authoritative yet sweet, carried with it the presence one would expect of the upper class - risen words, as opposed to voice. It was a common saying Azymn liked to say, and often used it help those unable to speak their mind. "I have been informed by my father himself that I would be having a doctor of high esteem as part of my retinue. I thought that a man, no matter his odd disposition, would be at least granted an audience with me, given that his letter of entitlement is, in fact, legitimate."
Maryvale took a few steps forward to retrieve the letter from the witch doctor, giving nothing but a wary glance at both the doctor and guards. She passed it to Azymn, who then read the note aloud.
@Zhaliora I think I'll do the PM post first and Maryvale's immediately after, just to mess with your schedule >:D
@Cu Chulainn Sounds good! Though I do hope he doesn't practice what he preaches XD
Gonna post today, sorry for delay, to denounce the evils of truth and love, to extend our reach to the stars above! :3

Kismet kept herself quiet around so many figures. She often didn't feel the most comfortable addressing others, at least strangers, especially those who were of the more eccentric kind. She gave Saxan a polite smile and short nod, though like he she was more focused on the situation at hand. Though wary of the half-elven rogue, he seemed to have some kind of connection to Saxan, given how Saxan called him a 'good friend'. The other noble, an older man with a voice of authority, made her feel nervous, and caused the young cleric to gently rub her finger and thumb against her amulet, mind thinking of home.

Being behind her dragonborn friend, it wasn't hard to look over his shoulder and read the note, though it wasn't so much of his shoulder as it was his waist. It looked to be in a sorry state, and it made her wonder if she could gain any insight or some kind of missing piece if she could mend the paper, though she would need to do so multiple times given there was multiple tears. And probably the larger piece of paper it seemed to be torn from, though truthfully she still hadn't a full idea of her own cantrip's capabilities.
The rogue and dwarf each both raised some interesting points, however. What if the other noble's exaggeration was true, and his son had been kidnapped? Or maybe they were both being honest and it was a standard love affair?

Thinking about it made her head spin.
"U-um... If this man is right, though, then we would be waiting for eternity here for the two. I-I mean, uhh..." She knew she had just put herself under some kind of spotlight, but seemed willing enough to continue to make her point known. "If they don't have much food they will be back soon. But if they do they could be a long while. A-and they maybe could've kidnapped someone, b-but I'm not so sure about that one..."
She cleared her throat to add another proposition. "Maybe we could ask when the letter was received? I just find it weird the boy didn't send a letter, either... Maybe that's silly of me to think, but I'd send one to each family, so each one knows, right?"

She really hoped she didn't sound insane saying so. She knew the convenience of only sending one, but it bugged her the boy didn't send a letter either. She cherished her family, and could never do such a thing as to not update them if she were getting married, even if she lived in the same town as her husband-to-be.
You alright Boss? :o Hope it wasn't anything too bad. Best of wishes!

Also: CHURCH STAKEOUT YEEE
And I'm gonna get some newscrubs in the RP - I've already got two of the scrubbiest scrubs known to man to join.
