Seeing actual bushfire footage looks straight out of Hell... It moves so quickly and so powerfully, literally the trees just ignite. You firefighters are absolute legends, but please, don't die.

Welcome to my little personal den of Hell! Sorry, sorry, I meant my personal profile. Same thing, right?

I'm a roleplayer, same as any around here. I've been doing it for about five years now, coming up to six in September. Its been quite the time, thinking back. I started out fresh as can be, understanding the basics of writing but never quite knowing how to become better, or become as great as those around me. In the end, I did the only thing I really knew at the time:

Write as much garbage as possible and hope for the best!

As you can see, that particular tactic fucking failed.
Jokes aside, I like to think I've developed a lot over the years, both as a writer and as a person. However, absolutely nothing can dissuade my weeaboo ways and supporting my OTP with all that I can freaking muster! If you haven't already guessed, said OTP is Chrom x Robin (Chrobin) from Fire Emblem: Awakening. Highly recommend the game, there's a reason (other than nintendo's cheapskate attitude) that it hasn't dropped in price, it's honestly the best place to start off in the series. And hey, maybe you'll end up addicted like me and want to buy every game on the 3DS like a fucking loony?

Speaking of loonies, the Fire Emblem Chrobin Comic Dub Project has recently finished, so for those of you who also appreciate the best ship in existence, I highly recommend it. Hell, even if you're not interested in that, I do highly recommend watching it for those into fantasy love stories. The quality improves drastically with each episode, so trust me when I say by the end of it you should be thoroughly impressed. It has helped motivate me in ways I can hardly describe with words, and so I thought the least I could do was put this out there. Maybe it's not for everyone, but I know it was the perfect thing for me.

"Do you think you can tip any of the scales in here?"
"Chrom, for the love of Naga, I'm thinking..."

"So I heard."

"There are better places
to take a nap than
on the ground, you know."

It took a little while and a bit of explaining to New Horizon staff what they were doing and why Eliott needed her bracers removed. As a safety measure (if you could call it that), two highly trained Horizon operatives were stationed at the main exit, who also had the bracelet to put back on her immediately after training. Some would assume with Phoenix Dawn himself in the room that nobody would dare do something stupid, yet Horizon was always erring on the side of caution.
With her restraints free, Eliott stretched and rolled her wrists eagerly. "Oh yes! This should be fun." Her eyes gave off the impression of some sort of sadist, their wildness possibly mistaken for evil. However, Yatzil in particularly would probably find the wild excitement familiar, as it was similar to her own wild look she gave when entering a fight.

She had to make sure it worked, however, so she moved over to where some of the training equipment for weight lifting was and began toying with the pressure waves. The rattle that the weights equipment adopted was certainly unnatural, almost as though it had become possessed. The more she held onto the weights, the more they rattled. She didn't want to get in trouble, however, so she muted her surroundings, absorbing the vibrations to use as kinetic energy. As she released them, the force created a brief gust of wind which may push someone inattentive off-balance, though wouldn't be hard to right, either. She clenched her fist and grinned.

"Alrighty then. I'm ready."
Her focus returned to Dawn and the bots. He had asked her what difficulty level she would like. If she weren't able to use her powers, likely no more than a four, but since she had gotten permission...
"How about... eight?"
She'd never gone up against these bots. They had some similar types of automation back at the academy, but they didn't look nearly as state-of-the-art as these ones did. If ten was the highest level, then eight seemed like a good middle-ground between borderline sadism and being too comfortable. Assuming the power scale worked somewhat like how she thought it worked.
Eliott made sure to stretch before the fight began. Since this was a training exercise, she probably couldn't go all-out. She assumed the walls of the gym were reinforced in case of... hero accidents, but even they likely couldn't hold out to prolonged vibration.

It wasn't long before she felt she was ready. She got into a battle stance, arms raised and hopping excitedly. And for the pervs out there, yes, they were jiggling.
"Dawn, switch'er on. Lets do this!"

@Zhaliora Sorry or lack of activity here and in the PM btw, been bogged down with an essay. It'll be finished today, so I think sometime late tonight or tomorrow I can reply to the things ;)
@FallenTrinity Only reason I haven't been posting as much lately is due to essay commitments, otherwise active. Although, my essay is due today :D
Eh, looking at all this, it seems like either the story will go nowhere and act as a sandbox/treadmill or it will take too long for players to become strong enough to make anything happen on a large scale. Seems better suited to a tabletop setting, because it'd reign supreme in a format like that.

Daddy Shwah already said it has a narrative focus, so I wouldn't say it's not going anywhere ^-^ And if there's a decent enough narrative in his head (which I assume there is considering all this), I don't see why there couldn't be any large scale changes in mind.
And tabletop for an RP like this would be wonderful, but would also require him to make his own tabletop game from scratch. Plus, that would take away a lot of variety, which seems to be the focus here :3 Maybe if the scale were smaller, but this all seems pretty grand, making tabletop pretty hard.
@Strange Rodent Congratz on the promotion Sub-Boss! :D
@ShwiggityShwah Workin' on my girl ;) Cuteness, rainbows, and 38mm plasma cannons coming to a badass near you! :D

Eliott didn't seem to be paying much attention to anything in her vicinity, even Silas. She was just enjoying being a complete idiot as she loosely clung to his frame, completely unable to support herself. He gave her a nudge, but that only seemed to make Eliott want to be more of an idiot.
His request for her to get off, however, seemingly got through to her.
"Aww man. Fiiiiine. Boring."

She didn't even try to right herself, her body sliding off of him like it had suddenly become slippery. There was a loud slap as her hands and arms hit the ground to catch herself. Eliott's body was still as a plank, though given a few moments, she got to her feet with a groan. "Ow." Her arms and hands were red from the collision, and she dusted herself off, despite not collecting any dust.
She looked upset.
"Lemme fight one of them bot things; I can rattle it apart, watch!" Announced Eliott confidently, walking over to Dawn and the two robots. She gave one of the machines a firm kick, digging her heel into the metal, not that it was leaving any sort of mark. "Get these bracelets off and I'll win five out of five, and turn these guys into scrap metal."

She'd already begun stretching. She was going to fight one of these things at some point, it was just a matter of when she could get the bracers off.
If she could get them off.
She'd fight them with them on, at this point. She wasn't especially livid or angry. Just really, really salty...
